Nanny, those birds bathing in that ice water make me cold!! I hope that one came up for air and didn't freeze fast! LOL

Gosh, looking at all of the robin pictures posted today, reminds me of Springtime.

Here is a Tufted Titmouse that I saw peeping out of a hedge today. I just love those little birds!

Nice ones duc!

Tonasket, WA(Zone 5a)

Really enjoyed seeing all your great photos. I have not seen either a Nuthatch or Titmouse of any kind in this area. They are in the low mountains. Haven't seen any Grosbeaks either. For many years a pair of Chickadees made this their home, raised their babies and I really enjoyed their company. Then a Sharp Shinned Hawk got them. I didn't see it happen, but did see the SShawk around the yard and then no chickadees. They are my very favorite bird and I do miss them We had many conversations over the years.

I do see both the Downy and Hairy Woodpeckers in the yard occasionally.

Marlton, NJ

Hi Donna, The chickadee's may have just moved on to a safer area. :-) Mine make themselves more scarce once the Sharpie's and Coopers come to the area.

Palm Coast, FL(Zone 9a)

Red-shouldered Hawk, Just was mating (is it smiling?) in the tree overhead, so guess we'll have babies this spring.

We have lots of cats that are let loose to run here after they outgrow the cute kitten stage. I had to take down the feeder off the front porch do to this guy starting to hangout on the front porch too.

I was so excited to see a new bird at the sunflower feeder this afternoon! I took several pictures but of course none of them came out very well! hehe Isn't that how it happens? :)

I think this is a House Finch?

A flock of 6 robins was working over the crabapple tree, snow covering everything else. Why eat hard seeds when you can have a fruit desert?

Marlton, NJ

Hi countrymouse, Yes that is a male House Finch.

Great pics everyone! Iris I just saw a few American Robins flying around. It looked like they were being chased by a Mockingbird.

Marlton, NJ

Too cold and blustery to be outside today so all pics were taken through the window.

Here is mainly what I'm getting in the yard right now. European Starlings
