Ok.....I had read on Lyndon Lyons site that streps could take 14 hours a day of light............I have only 1 fixture to each shelf and cannot change that because of the heat. In my office I have only two shelves with 2 fixtures and 4 lights each. The temps are raised in the room by a full 5 degrees.
I live where it is hot.......
As soon as the sinningia speciosas quit blooming, I am going back to only one fixture per shelf because of the heat problem.

Mine do not give off allot of heat that I feel and I am a hot person... They are in a big room so maybe that is the difference? On each shelf I have two shop light and 4 bulbs total...
