I love all the pictures... I love how each one is diffrent... Jan, I love your tiny plant... Is the Guppy one a strep? I am going to put up my new lights today... I have to go to the food store but I don't want to... Now if it were a Gessy store I would be there in a heartbeat...

i think your micro is mighty mouse, adorable as usual, i have 2 plants of dracula's shadow so will have plenty to share.i also like singinf guppes & would love to trade.

All of you , please propagate or offer leaves from both streps and african violets in the spring on DG Marketplace. I think I might have to grow a few african violets after looking at everyone else's plants!

You know I don't sell but I will put some leaves down... I have to say av leaves grow like crazy for me... So tell me what you all want and I will put leaves down... Now mind you I can root av much better then streps... but I keep trying... I also have to say a thank you to Jan as she is the one who sent me Sinns, and little av's... Thank you girl.. Gail what got me is I had to re pot my kohlerias that I started from rhizomes and I was shocked to see so many new ones in the dirt.. I was floored... I have a few that are going to bloom here pretty soon.... I can't wait...LOL

My kohlerias went to friends (LOL)......don't have room for everything........and I, too was shocked at the number of rhizomes. Still have one more tray of kohlerias and episcias to send out when the weather gets a little warmer.....
No.....you misunderstood me. I want people to grow from leaf and offer the plants on DG Marketplace because everyone has better choices when they are doing their own growing from leaf.........(for avs) When you plant your babies avs up and they are big enough to travel, put them on DG Marketplace.
For streps, I will buy anywhere.......anytime!!! But DG growers are the best !!!
I will take pictures after I come home from work tomorrow of how I grow my av's... You will laugh... I put them in a stemmed glass and stick them in and boom they grow babies...LOL It makes me laugh all the time... Now I wish I could grow streps that easy...
That is why I needed a new shelf as my streps were to crowed and I had no room for my av's and not enough for the kohlerias... So now there are a few more I want of streps and some that are so so but this is it for stand for me... I want to really start trying to grow streps better... I have two trays of streps I just re potted and almost all of them I grew in water then put in little pots and now bigger pots....So I am going to try water rooting again... Jim sent me leaves and I put them down in perlite and promix with mostly perlite and maybe 10 may give me babies and that is not good odds...LOL

I already have to take a cutting for one person for the kalediscope, but after I cut it once they normally grow pretty fast and then I will take a cutting for you to send to you in the spring... I will put your name on one.. That is the only way I can keep track... If this is ok with you? Or I could look for a tuber in there will see down the road...
