Sorry Bill.... I lied! That's the Beni Komachi Sport. If you look closely at the picture, you can see another shrubby looking thing in the shadows behind it, that's koto no ito in the back ground. Sheesh.... I think that I'm going to have to check the time stamp on the picture and stand out in the yard at that time and see which of those two is getting "catching some sun" at that time. :-p Should be Beni Komachi Sport though. Sorry :-/

The "frosty stuff"
Now that was a wonderful, almost, run-on sentence that even Pixie would be proud of. Your dedication to getting it right is almost as amazing as your picture.
Susan I just love the second to last one that you posted! It's beautiful!! I agree, the sunrise makes the frost look so pretty.
Thanks Laurie! :-p I'm great with run on sentences! For better or worse, I have a bad habit of simply typing things in just the same manner as I think them. I make a conscience effort to leave out any explitives, but that's it. lol I had better get the maple right, Bill is getting good at identifying them!
Thank you Shelly!
not that good since i did not know which one it was only that it was one - i will admit that i thought koto was not an upright grower so i looked a little closer.
wha and nutsfordaylily - sooo glad to see you over here. I spend a lot of time here in the PNW as well as the NE. Both coasts are like family to me.
You PNWers need to check out wha's thread about the stone wall he built. It is a sight to behold. Bill, you did a great job.
Jan
thanks jan
Thanks for the reminder Jan. I agree, we all seem like family. Actually, it's also helps that much of the same stuff can grow in both places. I knew that Bill had a thread, but I forgot about it. Sorry Bill :-( Hey, Bill.... can you post the link here to it? It would definitely make it easier for folks who haven't found their way to the NE forum yet to find it. Koto is definitely an upright grower! just not a large upright one. More medium.
Bea.... I just love your Frog. It looks quite cold. Does it have a name?
That's an awesome pic of the lambs ears!
Yes Bill, I wanta see. Please Please!!!!!!!
I might lost it I leave PNW LOL
lol stop tattling on yourself Tilly :-p We know that you can make your way out of the PNWest....virtually! we don't want you to leave physically!
For anyone interested in checking out Bill's (wha) rock wall thread in the NE forums, here is the link: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/873748/
Great pics, everyone!
Karen
Ha Ha, But I did want to go, physically. Darn foiled again.
Okay, I'll stay put, going to check it out.
Now that was a heck of alot of work, Great Job.
See what I met RC, we love pic. CANDY
Nice Pics WW
Yes, Yes, Tilly. I see :-p You're funny.
WW... nice pics!! How were your fingertips after the last outside one?? My favorite is the willow leaves then that little fern. The one in the living room is so bright and cheery!
Have to be, only way to keep my sanity LOL
I agree! That's my philosophy as well!
Very beautiful frosty pictures. I really enjoyed them, thanks so much for posting.
We never see anything like this here unless we go to the mountains.
