$10.00 cash
$15.00 ebay gift certificate
$15.00 plant material
$20.00 Dave's Violet certificate
$20.00 cash
Multi-use Plant tool (Really cool!)
Choice of: a handmade dream catcher, a hand-painted clay pot, or a hand-painted wooden apple basket, PLUS a plant of choice
RULES:
I will post 2 random choices from the plant list([HYPERLINK@davesgarden.com]) daily on this thread. Posts may be made at any time, I will also occasionally post a “bonus” pick.
First person to cross off ALL the plants they have chosen should post “BINGO” in this thread. If more than 1 person posts bingo, the one with the earliest posted time will be the first winner.
Once Syrumani verifies the bingo, the winner will choose a number (1-7) and will then receive the corresponding prize directly from the donor. (Numbers do not necessarily correspond with the order the prizes are listed). Your prize will be a “surprise”.
We have 7 donated prizes, there will be 6 “Bingo” winners and 1 “biggest loser”. The biggest loser will be the person who has the most names left on their card after the first 5 bingos have been called. In the event of a tie, Syrumani (or one of her adorable kids) will draw a winner from the remaining cards.
Ok—LET’S PLAY BINGO!!!!!!

Hey, its Chilly Willy here and I got Chilly Willy, may be cold but my luck could be warming up!!!
I have never had an apple fight, but if it was there, we'd throw them for sure!! We have food fights, watermelon seed spit fights etc. The first time I spit a seed at my husband, I thought his kids were gonna die. You know, those bad habit catch on fast, next thing you know everyone's trying to get those seeds and spit at everyone else. People can can ewww, but don't think they wouldn't do it if given the chance!!!! Ok, ok, I'm the step mom from h----!! I just never grew up, nor am i going to!!!!
I am glad I am not the only step mom from h---!! Gran has kinda rubbed off on me some...dishes in the bedroom...lol...it worked Gran!! I also stopped the cooking during times of dishes not being washed, amazing what hungry kids will do for food!! lol....it takes a very strong woman to raise another womans children...I give high fives to all who do it...it is equally hard on men..but umm......I wont' go there..lol...I was aggrivated yesterday, daytime temps got back in the 80's in gh so it is kinda one of those...whew....and also now why could you not have been that warm the day the heater went out...we have done some more sealing around the bottom and are keeping two heaters in there now...one dies the other will at least keep it above freezing...live and learn!!
I want to share something with you all, it reminds me of how we are to each other on DG...I am not sure how to copy links so I will just do it here...sorry if it is long..it is so worthy of us to read though....here goes....
A holy man was having a conversation with the Lord one day and said, 'Lord, I would like to know what Heaven and Hell are like. So the Lord took him to a room where there were several sitting around a table with very long spoons attached to their arms, there was a pot of stew on the table that smelled so good the holy mans mouth watered...but the people sitting around the table were starved and miserable, they could get the spoons in the pot, but not to their mouths due to the length.....The Lord told the Holy man that room was Hell...
The Lord then takes him to another room with the same exact set up, long spoons, table with a pot of mouth watering stew...the people there were all laughing and well fed, all very happy. The Lord tells the Holy man, this is Heaven. The Holy man told the Lord he was confused, as they were the same exact places...with only one difference...one was miserable the other happy and blessed....The Lord then told him...the people in the first room are in misery because they only think of themselves, the people in the second room are happy because they have learned to feed each other, and find happiness in what otherwise would be misery....
I find that almost everyone on here have been more than gracious to share their spoon with me and for that I thank you all!! It is so nice that when someone suffers we all can pitch in and if nothing more, offer to help as you all did when I lost my plants...I thank you all and just want to let yall know...if there ever is a day we are in that room....I am sure we will be fat and happy cuz we already know how to care and share.....
A BIG THANKS TO ALL!!!

Not sure why that took up so much room...what did I do wrong....sorry
What a beautiful story and so true. Sometime it is very hard to look at ourselves and realize we tend to think of ME. We are so blessed to live as we do with so much and forget of the many that have so little. I'm cleaning out my Mother's house and as I'm cleaning I'm thinking that I need to give away some of the stuff that I have an let some others enjoy it. I need to share some of the blessings that I have. Hope every one has a great day. Elaine

I am really not that bossy! Yesterday I risked giving you unsolicited advice, which I hope was OK. Today you asked for advice. I offer apologies if they are needed.
That is truly a wonderful story, and so true. Sometimes it is too easy to get "caught up" in our own lives, which can not be helped. It's the trip back to the "real "world" that is sometimes the hard journey!! Thanks for the read for this Monday. Wish you could find one of those every Monday!!!
Yes, it is hard to raise another Woman's children, but her loss has been my gain!! I truly only have a couple of rules: #1 Do Not Lie To Me, I will help no matter what as long as you just Do Not Lie. #2, You do not Have to like me everyday, believe me, there are days I don't like them either, but you Must Love me each day, as I do you. There are some smaller ones of course, but these were the 2 that I started with in the beginning and they work!! Myparents were also divorced, but neither parent walked out on me like on these kids. Now their Mom is back in thier lives more, which is good for them, its what they both need, especially in their late teens. And my words to their Mother years ago was, if you don't like the way I'm raising your kids, do it yourself. hummmm, guess where they stayed? Yes, their Dad is a wonderful father, but Mom's have another roll totally, even Step-Mom's. With having one a girl and one a boy, they can each be a favorite, my FAAAVVVorite son and my FAAVVV daughter, when they are young they loved it, and now on my ccards I am always their favorite step0-mom too!!! So, I guess being the step from h00000..... isn't always as bad as it seems!!

Sarah
I also have seven and was thrilled ....LOL
Sue
Hillbilly_Gran,New ears are so exciting!!!!! Maybe when your plant grows up, we could trade.I love that one and would like to grow it again.
Lemon Frills has been on my want list forever.Last on I saw was on ebay and sold for 40 bucks and it was so tiny.Would never have lived for me.
I'm not telling how many I have. ^_^
I'm thinking next time Bingo could be done slightly different. Maybe "cards" could be submitted via email attachment . . . players could pre-fill their cards with the numbers . . . and play different "games". Once a player gets a Bingo, that player is out, and a new game starts . . . same cards would be used for each game. We could play games until the prizes run out . . .
I only say that, 'cause the way I have the "cards" numbered - there is one player away from a 4-corner bingo . . . quite a few that are 2 away from a horizontal or vertical row . . . one player away from a diagonal bingo . . .
I only have 5, but I still have hope!!! Come on Tommie!! I sending your hand my numbers thru mental telepathy!!!! LOLOLOL Are your fingers starting to tingle yet?!!!!
Very tingly^_^ On the violet voice group-- bingo players actually download and fill out a bingo card with their choices--new to that group and not too sure how that works--but maybe the next game could go that route or something similar!! Jannich-- I will be more than happy to send you a baby!!
