Hi sistahs! Welcome Synda^_^
Kim, I'm so sorry your trip wasn't 100% perfect, but you did managed to have a good time with Moe.. look at those drinks in your hands :D
Dusty, how do you say "Thank You" in your Deer Clan language. Thank you for willing to teach your sculpting skills to us, humble earthlings! Your works are so amazing, and should fetch the high dollars, just like the ones Synda described.
I'll follow your instructions too. This is indeed a privelege :D
Well, my noisemaker's returning soon.. have a great evening ladies.
Stacey, check your PP account.
The only thing I see on the doll hair link would be the wool wave toward the bottom...It can be straightened with a small curling iron...
Here is my site... http://www.wensleydalesheep.com/current.htm
Wado is Thank you...and you are very welcome...I just hope I can live up to all the praise after all of this time away from it...LOL
Stacey, thanks for the link.
Dusty, those are amazing!
Oh My Gosh!!!
Are we making Fairies??
I am in wooohooo!
Got my list.
Thank You, Mii Gwetch, Wado...
Love the babies too, oh my can't believe how real they are.
I have just about everything on the list must get it all together for the "class".
Wado! Wado! Wado! Dusty!
Now to look for a solid mechanical pasta maker in this small town. Might have to look up on eBay.
See you ladies later.
Nooo Cookie....You have plenty of stuff to use over here....All you need is the oven and the clay...
If *Someone* hadn't crammed all of my craft bins into the guestroom closet along with every other blessed thing that was in there in order to **help me**, I could get some pics of some of the things...I guess that will be next weekends project... dragging everything back out and getting those craft bins down to the basement...
Synda...I have a doll left to finish the reborn on...He is a little black baby, and maybe I can walk you through it when I do him...Someone started him, made some mistakes, and tossed him...but he is definitely worth saving and will have an honored place on my rocking horse...or maybe the potty chair??? LOL
Subject: A Good Laugh
A couple has a dog who snores. Annoyed because she
can't sleep, the wife goes to the vet to see if he
can help. The vet tells the woman to tie a ribbon
around the dog's testicles and he will stop snoring.
"Yeah right!" she says.
A few minutes after going to bed, the dog begins snoring.
The wife tosses and turns, unable to sleep.
Muttering to herself, she goes to the closet and grabs a piece of red
ribbon and ties it carefully around the dog's testicles.
Sure enough, the dog stops snoring! The woman is amazed!
Later that night, her husband returns home drunk
from being out drinking with his buddies.
He climbs into bed, falls asleep and begins snoring loudly.
The woman thinks maybe the ribbon might work on him.
So she goes to the closet again, grabs a piece of blue
ribbon and ties it around her husband's testicles.
Amazingly, it also works on him!
The woman sleeps soundly.
The Husband wakes from his drunken stupor and stumbles into
the bathroom. As he stands in front of the toilet,
he glances in the mirror and sees a blue ribbon
attached to his privates. He is very confused and
as he walks back into the bedroom, he sees the red
ribbon attached to his dog's testicles. He shakes
his head and looks at the dog and whispers,
"I don't know where we were, or, what we did, but,
we took first and second place.
ROFLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!
Jaye go here to look at pasta machine. This will work won't it Dusty?
http://www.consumercrafts.com/Store/SearchResults.aspx?clg=&cat=&sub=&sp=97340*
Dusty, for the ladies who don't have one will the oven and the pasta machine they sell for polymer clay at Michaels work? They could then use their 40-50% off coupons to purchase these items! A lot less than what my Pasta machine cost me!!!
If you want to see something REALLY CUTE - go to Dusty's wensleydalesheep site and, once there, click on SHEEP. OMG! The cutest 4 eyes you've ever seen will be looking back at you!
Yeah Trisha.. I guess so.. but I find the thrift for the ovens does alot cheaper even with discounts...
Oh yeah.. and you need a GOOD oven thermometer...the dials on the ovens are NOT reliable....
I don't know if I can post the picture, it was taken in 1856 I believe, and it's still in the original frame! I could try to take it out of the frame and scan it to the computer, but first I have to find the picture. Oh, there it is in the closet.
Dusty you are very talented! Those are very nice! Thanks for sharing!
Dusty, Thank you. Sharing your talent is wonderful, and thank you's are not enough.
I get bored so easily. With winter being here and nothing to do outside, I go crazy!
Oh, don't get me wrong. I have plenty of things to keep me from being bored. I can clean/organize my house (I've been doing some and find it boring), Study hard in my class (not interested right now, kind of burnt out and doing just enough to get by), Edit Photos (don't feel inspired), and I don't know, but a lot of other things. I know I need to finish my item for the 7 Item Mystery Swap (I'm almost done and procratinating), and I need to start on collecting Door Prizes for the Rossville School Foundation Road Rally being held in June, but I'm dreading that as well.
I need to do something fun and exciting.
Once again, thank you. You are a blessing. You are saving me from a severe bought of depression. OH MAN I wish for Spring to arrive.
Lisa
Lisa, what kind of door prizes are you looking for? I make soy candles and would gladly donate for your event.
Dusty,
Your work is wonderful... Are you going to offer classes? I don't know if I could ever do something like those... Just beautiful....
I am so GLAD my sister Kim is home.... I missed you... I have been sick,sick,sick... I have to go to work tomorrow and I don't want to... We are suppose to get out big snow for this winter tomorrow...LOLOL I can tell you that there is no milk or bread in the stores as I type... We are lucky if we see a flake...
Ok going to rest up for tomorrow...
Hugs,
Susan
I don't think I could do that wonderful work either, but I will most definately be watching! WOW. What a talented lady you are.
LK
Love the joke, I am LOL over here! Hilarious!! I'm going to share that one, do you mind?
Not at all, it was an email from my cuz in Oregon. Did you see the one above about Sharing peanuts?
We are looking for gifts to fill gift baskets for winners of the Road Rally. Don't know how I"m going to set them up. Will fill with some goodies and a hotel weekend stay with a restaurant gift certificate.
I hate doing these things but since I'm good at it, I always volunteer to do it. Ugh, I hate begging for door prizes. In this economy it's going to be tough.
Soy Candles, that would work great in the gift baskets. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. shipping would be a pain.
Is there some great hotels around where you live that would give a weekend stay? It would be great to put together a weekend getaway for the 1st place winner.
I'm also collecting little notebooks, pens/pencils, paperclips, and need to find a company that will donat tshits and print a logo. Yeah, this is going to be tough. We are expecting about 75 participants with a $50 entry fee.
Wow I think there could be some in the wine country like Napa Valley, lots of wineries and mud baths. Calastoga, has mineral water in their spas and swimming pools. Your skin gets so soft in just a few days. Let me do some searching on that for you. Also I would like to donate 6 of my 9 oz square soy candles. I can ship them all for flat rate.
That would be great. How do you want me to pay for them? Check Money Order, or Paypal?
Napa Valley, Oh, Ah, that sounds like heaven.
I can get a letter to you with our Tax ID for tax deductions if you would like. Just let me know.
Lisa
Napa Valley is Nice!! Oh Dave's sister lives in Santa Rosa, I would love to go visit her again!
Pay for what? candles? NADA, nothing my gift. I will get back to with more info on Napa Valley.....^_^
Beautiful work of art Dusty.
