First time I have ever been first!!!!!

Its about a 7 to 8 hour drive. DD says I drive like an old grandma.

I just hope I don't have to drive in Dallas. I hate that city. Have been thru it 3 times and gotten lost all 3 times.

I end up going around it several times before I realize I am lost.

Got the soup on.....split pea with ham....ummmmmmm! Just dawned on me I never got around to having lunch today.....

Just got a quick scan through today.....very little football here.....used to spend a lot of time at SIR (Seattle International Raceways) back when ChaCha Muldowny and that crew were racing......... friends of ours had a couple of AA Dragsters..........these days it is all Baseball, Bicycles and the PBR!

Son picked up cute little used Toyota today, he is going to loan Sean and Laura his old one so I'll have my car back tomorrow.....not that I need to go anywhere, in fact is kind of nice not having to go anywhere......that's what I enjoyed about the snow!

LOL!! I've never driven through, near, or around it but I've heard stories and No Thank You! I like driving 80 on a freeway, not 10.

I'm usually going to bed around 9 but I'm off tomorrow so I think I'm going to stay up. For awhile anyway.

Wow, this is a busy thread. I lost it, found it, lost it, found it. I was 2 threads behind.

I was wondering if I was missing anything? Yes, I'm missing my brain, but what I'm thinking is that I seen something about meeting. Am I crazy? Is everyone getting together to meet? I want to.

There's a RU on Memorial Day Weekend either at BJ's or in Canton, Tx. I'm not sure if I will make it but I sure hope so.

Well, we are all invited to the 2nd Sistahood reunuion at BJ's on Memorial Day weekend, in Tool, Tx.
It is not a RU. Just a nice gathering face to face, instead of behind the monitors. The 1st was at Sistah Kathy's and many of us missed that.

Jaye, Doing good on the crafts, I think, got the 2009 all ready to go out first thing Tuesday Morning as there is no mail tomorrow:( But, I think my buddy will be happy when she gets it. Gave Laura a hand so hers and it will be going out at the same time and I think her buddy is going to be verrrrrry Haaaaaappy! I am part way through my 7 Item Swap.....it is a challenge but so far it is going quite well.....and I am really liking Laura's idea for her 7 Item.....I don't think it is something her buddy would ever have dreamed of, but it is a great idea and is going to be soooo cute!!!

Well hello Dusty!!! Glad you dropped in on this group--they can get rowdy at times and definitely needs some supervision!! I know you can handle that. Did you grow in the Tampa area? I am from a little further south--now what is Port Charlotte. Yuck!!!! To busy and talk about crazy driving!! Guess I just remember it when it was all palmetto and my dad would train his bird dogs there.

Cody, what a nice greenhouse. Oh what fun that would be but don't think I would be allowed to have one where I live--shucks, I can't even have an outside shed unless it goes before the design committee. Won't even start on thinning out the trees.

Trisha, I will trade you a bowl of beef stew for a bowl of split pea soup. Hold your bowl and I will fill it. I do have a little left as son joined me for dinner. Geez what an appetite that boy has.

Thanks Marion with it being cold they are not growing as much plus they are still in the pot for now.That sucks that you can't have a greenhouse or a shed.

Good morning everyone. Yippee. First to post for the day.

I, oh so much, want to go. Memorial Day Weekend is my daughters 16th birthday and she is expecting a big shindig. Telsey (my daughter) wants to have 30 people over along with 10 of the girls sleeping over. Yeah, right! Don't think so. If this were to happen, I would have to ship off my hubby for the day and night. He would freak and be a nervous wreak. It would be easier to deal with 30 kids than him.:)

I will be there in spirit for sure.

Good Morning all my Sistah's
Well I am a little better today But I think I still have jet leg or something. Well Let me tell you about my Trip it was good but not great and I am thinking about going back again next year.
Well it started out 2 1/2 hours late for take off so we landed at 2 in the Morning My sister hates take off and set down so she needed drinks and she also gets claustrophobia, hates to drive in a car, and afraid of the water This I had no idea about.She Had an ear infection . And a cold coming on so she complained about that. At the Airport you have to fill cards out we had no idea what they were for we didn't fill them out right and the Airline didn't help us so when we got into Mexico we had to have this filled out Well the Apple guy was a jerk so Moe was kind of giving the guards in Mexico a hard time and so we almost had to come back to tThe USA so she did settle down and we got that done The weather was bad there First day sun second day clouds and not so warm Tuesday Rain colder thank heavens I took a sweatshirt I wore that and brought one and sat at the beach had towel wrap around It was in maybe the 60 The employees couldn't think of the last time that it rained and was that cold It was like that until the day we were leaving were we got sun.
The first full day we got there they give you a towel card this you must keep if you lose it its 10 dollar BUT now one told us that so when we turned in the towels they didn't give us back our card didn't know we were to give it back so the next day we had to go to the front desk and fill a forum out and writ a life store why didn't have the card back and you can only have 1 towel per card .
Oh I forgot this part when we got to the motel the bell-boy took us to our room well he put the card in the door and it wouldn't work so he called the front desk to fine out why it didn't work he was at the wrong room at 2 in the morning with us and our suitcases . Some guy got out of bed and the bell boy look to see he was at the wrong room.
The Apple guy at the air port didn't explain his self well when we got in town and said we have to be at this meeting 9am
Than we were to go to a meeting about what was going on at 9:30 Sunday morning to meet our guide well when we got . They had stress that time share was big well we had no idea who this guy was and on the note he said meet behind the wall We also didn't get up to 11 so we had missed the meeting that we thought that he was from Time Share. We decide to take a Lobster Cruise On Thursday. On Tuesday they called our room and told us the cruise was canceled so to get my money back I had to write down why I didn't want another trip The Captain had cancel Well it was a good thing that happen cause it was raining and cold it was the worst day there
So Moe and I decide to go to town she was scared to death on that ride cause down they its very crowed and on top of that 5 Cruise Ship came into town we stayed about an hour . So I didn't get much stuff or pictures.
I will continue But I need a break to much typing I will put some pictures in
