stinkin' squirrel

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

now you guys make me feel like I want to break out that fancy feeder Randy bought me for christmas.. I wanted to wait till spring

Long Island, NY(Zone 6b)

I think they aren't squirrels, but aliens in suits!

Its the stinking power company. There is a branch, up on the road, on the line. Not a real big one but when the wind blows our lights flicker. I called them LAST MONDAY to remove it. I just noticed the branch is still on the line.

I would like to be an alien with a worm hole and go and turn them into ardvarks.

Framingham, MA(Zone 6a)

No, they are super secret agent squirrels!

Oh my gosh it was too funny I wish I had my video camera set up...the little demon was back a little while ago ripping more of my rug, his back was facing the slider and I banged my hand on the glass...you should have seen him jump...oh my goodness it was hysterical took off like a bat out of you know where.

this one would make me laugh by trying to get to the feeder with my jack russel in the yard the top of the pole became his permanent spot lol the dog would not let him come down so he would sit there all day he gave up but it took months

Hee hee my puppy just discovered yesterday that chasing squirrels is fun!! yay..maybe that will keep them out of my yard.

Mona in Metcalfe, ON(Zone 5a)

but only when the puppy is out they will come when he is indoors they will come to the window and tease him to make him bark

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

oh great something to look foward to.

Mona in Metcalfe, ON(Zone 5a)

I had to block the bottom of three windows so he cant see them since he would sit for hours watching for them lol he is very persistant from spring to fall he is outside with me all day which keeps the little buggers away

Framingham, MA(Zone 6a)

Squirrels and chipmunks were created to be chased by dogs.... at least, that is what the dogs say.
Last winter I thought I'd be clever and put a feeder on the dining room window (you know, the kind with the suction cups to hold it on?). It took only a few days before you know who figured out how to get there. Lots of excitement when he showed up!!!

What pretty dogs....looks like they were trying to find a way to open the window.

They are saying - I am going to get you Mr.

Great shot, Deb!

Framingham, MA(Zone 6a)

Thanks!
The boys made such a racket trying to get to that squirrel! He knocked the feeder right off the window. I like watching them try to figure out how to get to a feeder that is stuck in the middle of another window. This one is harder to get to and I occasionally see a squirrel flying through the air, totally missing the feeder.

This is a pic of the boys all tired out from chasing the resident squirrels....

oh my what a cute baby that one was, I love baby animals they are so cuddly and sweet

Like humans. When born, the whites of the eyes are white. Red veins begin to show. The moons of your fingernail are vivid and now shrink. Oh and wrinkles!

Mona in Metcalfe, ON(Zone 5a)

yes those wrinkles it is a loosing battle hahahah oh well every one mine speaks of some experience like raising my son to 21 and he survived it lol

If you like birdhouses take a gander at the ones this guy makes!
This house is 6 ft wide and 75 " tall 450 lbs!

Holy cow, that guy is very talented. The shed and arbors are too shabby either. I wish I was that handy. Lucky birds live in his neighborhood. Thanks for the link.

Mona in Metcalfe, ON(Zone 5a)

he is just amazing it is hard to believe how some people have so much talent and some of us have none lol hahhahahah

South Hamilton, MA

Is he sure it's just for birds? Might be used by Hobbits.

I am sure it has enuff apartment so house them - lol

Mona in Metcalfe, ON(Zone 5a)

that is what my shed is for lol it has insulation, windows, hydro, hubby says as soon as the pooper is in he is moving lol hahahha

Why wait? There is a thing called and outhouse :-)

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

i check in on his thread from time to time - he sells some of the designs online for the houses from his own web site - have not checked recently - for over a year there were only 2 designs up - i written several questions on when a certain design might be available - all have been unanswered. i usually build a birdhouse or three every winter although not this year yet.
