This is the now famous can of pinapple juice that Sophie was compared to in the very begining. As you can see, she has grown....her butt is bigger than the can now!!
Sophie's Saga....The Journey Continues
She has developed a personality all her own...complete with foot stomping. She also shows a bit of a rebellious side when she's mad at DH. He bought her a Hut that is made out of Timothy Hay so she can eat it if she wants. When she's P.O. at him she lays on top of it! I'll have to get a picture of it one of these days, it's too cute!!
OMG! Sophie is so big and beautiful! I'm afraid she is too much rabbit for little Columbus! Nice to see Bubbles also!
Now, I can go about my day with a happy heart. It's funny - the first thread I always check is Sophie's. WOW! She has grown. Would love to see the foot-stomping. I can't imagine being angry at Brian. She needs to remember where her green bean comes from.
Brian has a routine with her and when he's off schedule she lets him know!! If she's really upset with him like she was yesterday she won't eat. He had an appointment early and didn't make time for her before he left....I could hear her stomping her feet upstairs. lol When he got home, she was sitting on top of her house and she made him hold her and cuddle for at least 20-30 minutes before she started eating. lol
Rabbit with an attitude! I like it! They have such interesting personalities--just like any dog or cat.
Yay for the bunnies!
Thank you for the pictures and the new thread. Such a pretty bunny!
Susan
=^..^=
She must really love that pineapple juice.
Great update! We're giggling over here about her being mad at Brian. I love the "you have to make it up to me before I'll eat" bit :)
Thanks for the update and pictures. I'm no longer shaking. lol
Thanks, Pixie, for sharing Sophie & her Mom--I'm learning mucho about bunnies!
Oh! This story just gets better and better. Thanks for the update, Celeste. Like so many others, I like to read the events unfolding from day-to-day. She's getting SO HUGE!!!
Oh, Bravo! Sophie! You drama queen, you!! On the foot stomping, I'm thinking a Youtube video is a must! Nice shot of Bubbles too! I am trying hard not to get too attached to her - as we all have with Sophie the First - but it sure isn't easy. Thanks for the nice update shots, Celeste! This is the first thread I check too. LOL
Good to hear how things are going with your family, Candyce! It sure sounds like progress is being made very nicely on the insulating/construction, and that will surely cut down on the use of the wood. Glad to hear also that you are enjoying the kids!! I miss our grandkids.
Celeste, that pic of Sophie on the blue blanket is gorgeous. She certainly is getting big. I think I heard something about a new dance called the "bunny stomp" ^_^
I'm so excited! I saw bunny tracks in the front going to the back. yay! I saw some last winter, and saw a bunny this summer, but this is the first time this winter I've seen evidence. yay!
My husband asked me "Do you think it is related to Sophie?" lol. see how much you've affected our lives, pixie??
She got so big!
Sophie is beautiful!! I wouldn't worry about the wild bunnies Pixie. They survive our winter temps. just fine. It get down to -20F at times.
My doggies love our bunnies...they leave scattered chocolates all over the yard for them :(
Tell Sophie not to get too frustrated it is not her fault, male humans are very difficult to train. Even getting them to do simple tasks can be difficult and their ability to retain information is generally poor. Except when it pertains to tv or some sports activities. :^)
Sophie has turned into Sophia before our eyes (sniff, reaching for a tissue) I too luv a bunny with attitude. YOU GO GIRL SOPHIE with the foot stomping LMBO ^_^ Pixie where's her "dewdrops on roses" collar? (Sophie speak) Probably saved for special occasions? So nice to see Bubbles too. Has she peeked in the window yet?
Yes - I can tell by her butt.
Greaaaaat Victor points out the butt challenges. Perhaps Sophie could visit Victor and thump him. Tee hee I said that out loud.
Are "we" SURE Sophie is a girl? Just asking - don't want to start any trouble.
Sure now YankeeCat is stirring the pot geesh. (just kiddin ^_^) We are only sure that it's spring and all bunnys are accounted for and getting BIG. Somewhere way back in time Pixie was supposed to check but I forget if that happened and don't care. Always be Sophie to me. ps crazy ole cat finally ventured outside. Guess it was safe to do so without his face freezing off.
wow she is growing fast! sooo cute!
Thanks for the Sophie update. It is indeed the first thread I check every morning to see what she has been up to. I have been reading the thread to my DH who is hooked on her life story. It is amazing how she has touched everyone's lives. Gift from the Bunny Gods. DH was on his way out the door for a hockey game, ran back in when I told him there was a new pix of Sophie posted. I think I will have to get him his own Sophie, will make a nice addition to our family of 2 dog and 2 cats.
Happy belated New Year to everyone
Barb
And a Happy New Year to you, Barb. Sophie is a sweetie.
Jan
Oh, she's so big! I know they grow fast, but wow. I'll bet she guilts Brian right into what she wants with those tactics, too. Little stinker.
You should see him.....pure mush when it comes to Sophie.
He doesn't trust Sophie anymore...she bit his tail! lol
She was just trying to preen him but he didn't see it that way!!

LOL...woulda liked to see the look on his face when that happened!!
Too funny!! Maybe that is what I need to do - run up and down the love seat arm.
Love the shots of Sophie, mid munching. She is really a pretty girl!! That blue background sets off her coloring so nicely. Hysterical image of Romeo resisting the preening! That one has to make it into the illustrations of "the book".
Oh, yes. a preening picture of the cat. Definitely an illustration in 'the' book. It is getting longer and longer. I just KNOW it would be a bestseller. great idea, Louise.
I already have 100 copies reserved..........LOL
