Donna, I'm so glad they like those quilts and pillows. I really enjoyed making them for them... Hope they enjoy cuddling with them while watching tv all winter long.

I would have been here sooner, but I couldn't get to sleep last night (don't know why, I was tired, but just couldn't fall asleep)... so I slept late this morning. Then while I was pouring my first cup of coffee, my sister called to wish me Merry Christmas, and we had to talk for about an hour... was really good to talk with her.

And then, of course... I had to catch up with all your chatty posts... LOL

Joyce... I got your package yesterday... actually, it might have come before that, but I hadn't been to the mail box for a couple days... THANK YOU !!! It's such a wonderful candle dish. I love it.

my energy???? hahaha it's called setting up the night before to turn things on when ya get up just like I pull my clothes out the night before so if I over sleep I make a made dash to work LOL

I started taking out the last stitching I did yesterday on the quilt it comes out pretty easy once you get the right thread so I know the machine is not right.
as for a new machine if I go get one today so I can finish it I'll get one at walley world cheap .....wonder if they would know if I got one finished the quilt then took it back saying it doesn't do what I want would work ...ROFLMAO...I was hoping to have it done so mom could take it down south with her and have it to cover up with when she sits and reads but oh well will have until the first part of Feb to get it done instead I guess and give ti to her unfinished

Good morning, all! Guess what? More snow. I HAVE to go into town to finish Christmas shopping, and now I'm starting to stress... I've been putting it off because I didn't want to drive in the snow. I'm hoping it will let up soon so I can make my way, safely!

Glad to hear about the bunk beds, that seems like a blessing! Sending all my good thoughts to those girls...

I want to wish all my Sistahs a very Merry Christmas! If I could, you would each have a nice pressie under your tree from me. You've all been so nice to me during the short time I've known you. You'll never know how you've blessed my life!

My new neighbor said her sister-in-law asked for one of her deceased husbands shirts. She made Christmas ornaments out of it and sent them to her. Can you imagine the shock? She's really upset. She knows it was done with good intentions, but the man has been dead less than a year. She's getting rid of them!

BJ, it costs a little more, (sometimes) but UPS gets the package there in at least 3 days. Guaranteed! I may go with them from now on! AND, they don't double the cost while you're standing there looking at them, like the PO did to me!

I just wanted to pop in for a quick hello as I have a lot to get done this afternoon as we are having our Christmas with my side of the family tomorrow morning as Laura and Sean are suppose to try and go to Port Angeles to see his family tomorrow......I really worry about that as the weather reports do not look real good....I don't like the idea of them driving in these conditions.....

Donna you and Laura need to talk...this sounds like much of what she and Sean had to go through getting custody of Sage....she was just five when they finally go Custody. It wasn't easy but they did a lot of research and it was all worth the effort......Prayers for your success in this undertaking!!

I can see Jaye and Kel as Mr. and Mrs. Santa and Wonderful ones at that!!!

The next storm must be on the way in the birds are all over the bird feeders....unusual for this time of day...and the little Humming bird has been stocking up also!!

OH Audrey, That was GREAT!!!! Brought tears to my eyes :) I copied it so I can read it to my family on Christmas Day.

Guess who got off work early? Yep and guess what he is doing? Shampooing the carpets. I had just taken a break went and got the mail, a present from my cuz in Or. (says she's going to join in Jan) in he walks I had already vacuumed the whole living room and shampooed about 1/4 so figured he can finish it while I tackle the bedroom then Bear is getting a bath. He's been scratching and I think there are flea eggs in the carpet. I hate this weather they are always in th house....YUK

Jaye Still singing your chevrlet song to Max and the kids....ROFL Max said it need a bit of editing but fits our truck right now..... LOL

Whew I drove far away to find that bunkbed...lol I even found a train that I thought would never stop after almost 20 minutes and the truck turned off. The people were so ice and Tristen was delighted to get to be up close and personal with a few of their horses.. They had probably 10 in the pin and were walking 2 up when we pulled in.. Great people really down to earth and had just bought the land, moved a trailer in and didnt need the beds anymore.. It is brand new and looks great in Tristens room.. Now we have a bed just for the twins..

Can you see our floors? We have been hand sanding them over the last 6 months off and on but I had to scruc the paint off off them first and get the carpet out.. They will need some serious love but will be beautiful when they are done.. Cant wait to slide down the hallway.... :)

I stopped in here to see if you had posted recently since I have not heard from you--so very glad that you got the bunk beds and prayers to you that all works out for the step-daughters coming to live with you and Max--sounds like it is a horrific situation for them. 16 people living there? how many adults and how many children?? Definitely pursue this! Max has rights as their father and he has been paying support! If they are not getting anything they need to have the child services investigate the entire household and if there are ANY drugs involved with any of the "occupants" they will put them ALL in jail and sort it out. If they do not do this they are liable for a lawsuit which they will not want to do--due to the media that would be involved. Hopefully this will work out in you and Max's favor and the girls will be here with you soon. Please try to take a few minutes to call me when you can.
I will be going into the hospital after Christmas and hope all goes well with my situation. Prayers are appreciated!!
