Liz be very very careful or, like me, you might get more than you asked for!!!
Best/Worse &What did I learnt today/Chat with Friends #75
Thanks all ! about the kaleidescope pics. Betty I don't design them the computer program does. All I do is click a couple of places and walla it transforms them for me. Gita the program is Corel Paint shop Prox2 Ultimate. I don't know if I will do anything with them but would like to. I have an invention for the water gardens too but am too chicken to persue it. One of these products would evolve into 12 differant products if I could get it approved. There is nothing like this on the market. With so many people putting in water gardens I am sure it would go but am afraid to fail. HUGS BEV
Bev I have a little book that belonged to my Great Aunt in the 1920's called the Book of Good Cheer....it is full of poems and bits of collected wisdom.....I love it dearly and often find wonderful little bits to fit various situations....in this instance your last comment above...
Straight from the Mighty Bow this truth is driven;
They fail, and they alone, who have not striven.

I would say that if you think it is a good idea then Go For It......don't forget to protect the idea. (Write up a description, with drawings and other pertinent info, date and sign it seal it and mail it to yourself. When you receive it put it, unopened, in your safe deposit box, or other safe place. This would be future proof that it was your idea and when until such time as you might want apply for a patent etc.)
Thank you Trisha. I know a lot of those old ssayings and they are true. I don't know what is holding me back unless it is my age of 65 but C. Sanders didn't hold back with Kentucky Fried did he? But back then the patents weren't so expensive either. You see I have looked into it and you even have to work the idea up on your own website and that is out for me. BEV
Oh! I forgot. There is a man in the next town North about 4 mile that invented the breackaway basketball hoop. I may call after the first of the yr and talk to him. Maybe he can show me the way. Again thanks BEV
Morning all, wind has died down, mega snow out there..just getting my winter garb on and outside I go..
Wanted to take photo's for you , thought it was batteries in my camera, changed them twice and it's not coming on..wouldn't you know..will play with it this morning..have Cedric who wants his photo take so must either get it working or another...
Bev, follow your dream or you will always wonder what 'could have been'...my goodness 65 is not old at all these days...Trisha good advice for Bev on the patent...
My heart goes out to all of you who live in warmer climate that has been hit by these storms..must be overwhelming..
Why I'm up at this time of morning when I'm on holidays I don't know..guess body is programmed and with Christmas usually I'm running around doing last minute things..with Christmas behind me my mind keeps thinking there must be more to do..lol...
So with snowmobile suit and boots on, head gear/gloves I'm out to brave the snow...OMG they found an 80 something lady frozen out back in her yard..she had slippers on..must have fallen, hit her head and died from the cold..how very sad...
Makes on more alert to the dangers of living on your own..when Dianne was here yesterday I mentioned I might leave after Christmas and go to Buffalo NewYork for a day or so, when asked with who (she's busy with family) I said alone..OMG you can't go on your own, I'll be so worried...if you didn't do things on your own you'd end up staying in the house for the rest of your days wouldn't you..
I'm off..
trisha lol, i even have a snowman maker waiting to use!
just one day would make me happy!
You'd best get it going Liz, it's cold enough to perhaps last more than a day...
Guess we're all finishing projects, busy shopping etc....few more days it will all be over for yet another year...
I am almost done with 2 more victorian santa's..just decorating and that doesn't take a long time..believe it or not, one is for me...lol...the other for Bernice and Cliff...then looking at my velvet and hair there is enough to do 1 more then I can clean up all the santa decorations and embellishments and call it a year...so might as well get at it..
Suzanne and Lenny were to have dropped in to pick up Mrs. Claus dress but because of the storm they decided to come today..busy schedule ahead for them so they called and said they would drop in at 7:45am..knowing I'm up before the birds they'd come in on their way to town...
Walkways/deck are done till the next snowfall...
Once I get the santa's completed I'll get back to making 'Cedric' his santa suit..
We've got pants so far...lol
My kids are talking about having me committed...
Morning all,
Just dropping in to say how much I am enjoying reading all the posts as I sip my coffee..cozy inside.
Need to do more shovelling too..but no rush.
Betty..Mrs. Santa outfit is the most beautiful I have ever seen. You are such a talent!
Yesterday there was a power outage north of here..someone hit a pole..and it shut my interent access down till it was fixed...about three hours.
My goodness..I got a bit panicky..LOL..not knowing how long I would be without..
Thought I would show you my little garden shop..It was a Christmas gift a few years ago from a friend.
I need to go out and get the last of the groceries for all the family arriving on the 24th...Making lists..
Have a warm safe day everyone.
love the garden shop betty!
were to low in the valley for snow:(
but i can always hope for some lol
I know I have 1 more gift to get DH and the Xmas food today after work after taking my car in to get looked at-it is driving real funny since the ice we had-may have some ice on something-I don't know....
Mine was doing something similar Stacey, took it to the carwash, had to put it through twice, driving like a charm...ice/snow build up will do it..hard on tires also when you are turning as they rub on the ice build up...
Be safe...clear day here today..
We're in the Christmas room, sweets, hot chocolate and a pot of soup and hot bread awaits you....
