Daily Pics Volumn 161

Marlton, NJ

Nice pics guys! I saw a number of Robins here today. Can't believe they haven't left with how cold it's been.

Putnam County, IN(Zone 5b)

that's my thought Mrs. Ed. Big flat rocks good for drinking but no room for bathing.... I am not giving up tho!

Whiteside County, IL(Zone 5a)

perhaps I just have thirsty, dirty birds.

South Hamilton, MA

Every time I hit the thread I admire that dickcissel.

Clinton, MD(Zone 7a)

Here are a few shots of the Cedar Waxwings I was able to get today. They are not as sharp as it could be but I was testing (i.e. shooting) with my non-Image Stabilizing lens today seeing what I can do with it. So here goes.

Here are a few shots of the Yellow Rump Warbler I shot today. Again they are not as sharp as it could be but I was shooting with my non-IS lens today. I think they came out ok. I am gaining confidence with the lens though.

Hey Burn that Grosbeak looks cool in the icy tree. What a contrast.

Melbourne, FL

Very nice pics of the Waxwings and YR Warbler. Here is a Palm Warbler.

GP..Love the Buntings and Palm Warbler.

Burn..You're so lucky to have the Grosbeaks and Waxwings.

Iris...Thanks..I am enjoying having the Dickcissel in the yard.

Met...You are doing great with your new camera and lenses.

OP..The green feeder has sunflower chips in it. I am trying to keep the ground area clutter to a minimun!

Here is a Northern Mockingbird drinking from the blue bowl.

All the birds disappeared and I spotted this Coopers Hawk way out on the gate. This is a very long window shot so I hope you can see it...!!

The White-crowned sparrows continued to bathe as long as I would watch them. Hmmm...they seemed to enjoy being photographed!!
