Moon Over Hudson Valley. Our moon left. It is too cold even for the moon sigh.
Garden Photos - Part 46
That is cool Victor. I wonder what the 'Moon of Claiming' is all about? Whoo hoo I have a moon 'Nut Moon' ^_^
Well if you look at Jul, Aug and Sep on the Celtic, first you make a claim. Then it's disputed. After resolution, the singing (and drinking!) starts.
Goodness, RC, so beautiful they look like paintings.
Holy Moly Sharran!!! I didn' expect anyone to be here. But, it's a nice surprise. Thanks. I just love that hydrangea. It's the most wonderful shade of vibrant sky blue in the summer, it's never pruned - yet it blooms prolifically, and it does it's best to hang on through the winter. The only thing that they (folks i'm house sitting for) is feed it coffee grounds.
Yeah, well....not so sleepy tonight, just enjoying your show!
happy viewing Sharron, should keep you aimlessly busy for a while! :-p Just links to my fairly unorganized web albums. about half the pictures were taken with a fun saver (a camera a can't break) http://picasaweb.google.com/redchic/SceneryAndSomeOtherShots#

It's morning, and what a treat it was to view these pics with my morning coffee, over which I am lingering. I am speechless--so many absolutely beautiful pics! And what beautiful scenery! Thank you for posting these treasures!
Lovely Shelly, thank you! I needed color as my world is still in black and white right now. ^_^
Great snow shots, Shelly!
Thanks for sharing your pics on Picasa with us, Shelly. You have some fantastic stuff. You do have an artistic eye in photography. I love your hydrangea shots here. Nice colors in those. And I love the sunset shot, too.
Karen
You did a wonderful job Jo Ann!!!! It's lovely!!
Beautiful, Jo Ann!
Shelly, thank you for all the links. Made it through most of them last night, some again this morning. Lots of painting ideas floating around in my mind and fingers....I love all the color.
Great painting, JoAnn!
Thanks everybody Its nice to get the applause at the end of the performance.tee hee
Sharran:Isnt It amazing how certain photos just shout" Paint this" I would love to se more of your things. We brought this up on the Artizans forum.
I keep a file in my "Art Stuff" folder. Thank goodness forthe computer, a love hate relationship at best.
Wow, JoAnn, that is absolutely beautiful! When someone said it would make a nice painting, I just knew it would happen. :)
I think about what Jo Ann might paint when I plan my photos. ^_^
Will do, JoAnn....I know I keep promising, and so I will soon. Another promise. I just love looking at yours.
Sure you do, Victor!
Yes - it does look clearer now. Friskit sounds like a kitten food.
Heehee I never thought of thay. Sometimes it's called masking fluid.
Gorgeous colors, Jo Ann---I don't know how you get such rich colors--I painted a salmon leaping up a stream & tried to get the dark colors in the water, but!---& when I peeled off the masking, the paint came with it! And Shelley, your art is your camera--nice shots.
Very nice, JoAnn! That painting came out great!
Karen
Thanks all, you're very sweet!
Jo Ann, that is a wonderful painting. It's so nice of Victor to keep you in mind when he is photographing stuff!! :-p
Sharran, I would love to see some of your work as well.
Robin... someday I'll post a picture of the camera that I take pictures with. You'll laugh. The thing has been through some really rough tumbles, and definitely looks like it!
Such talented people here. Those sunset and hydrangea pics are outstanding. They should be framed and displayed for all to see.
JoAnn your water color is just lovely too. The deep rich colors are perfect.
And let's not forget the inspired pic of Victor's that started it all. Congrats to all and thanks for sharing with us here. Keep up the good work. :)
thanks
