Absolutely gorgeous photos..one after the other. I could reach out and take them all ^_^

TurtleChi - Do you wick water all your streps? If so, what is your soil mix recipe?

Williston, ND

Gwen is the blue one I think (not real sure though)

Danville, VA(Zone 7a)

Yes I wick all of my plants now... I use Pro-Mix and Perlite with extra perlite on the bottom of pot for drainage... I let the water dry in there trays before I rewater... I do nothing special... I am so happy to see them bloom again... I can now smile...yeahhhhh..
Yup thats the one Jim and thanks... I have doubles of some and I am not the best at keeping up with there names but then I became better at it and lost allot of them while dipping...
I love looking at everybody's pictures... Made my days when I had to pluck my buds off remind me what would be coming back.... ^_^
Hugs,
Susan

You are really getting good with these big violets, Sally. Better get ready for the show! Just teasing as I have no idea what will be blooming at my house at that time.

South, TX

I know, you just never know do you? Wish I could have just one great one at the right time.

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

Marjorie actually plans which ones she is growing from a year ahead of time...........I can't do that. I am lucky if I get blooms when each plant WANTS to bloom. Let me take a quick picture of sinningia speciosa Nocturnal. She is getting so many blooms. I am hoping the others which were planted from seed will bloom for the third week of February...........at least a few of them............

Too bad. Have a safe trip.

Those blooms are magnificent and King David is as pretty as Yukako. Do you remember if you ordered her from a vendor? Thanks
gail

Portland, ME

Nope, I got King David from a friend who had some extras--I remembered another friend of mine from another forum really wanted it, so when I saw it on her list of "extras" she wanted to get rid of, I grabbed it for him.

I just checked a buncha vendor sites for it, and finally the last one I checked (Violet Barn) has it listed for $12. http://violetbarn.com/standard_chimeras1.htm

Whitsett, NC(Zone 8a)

Well, if your friend doesn't want all of your semi's or standards, let me know!

(Lynn) Omaha, NE(Zone 5a)

Oh,I hate to see you pitch your plants!! Maybe a friend will want them or you could put them up for sale.

Lynn
