Simpsonville, SC(Zone 7b)

Cannagirl, could please have your Amaryllis seed?

Maxine, how about throwing some purple poppies in my trough :)

Thank You!

Leesburg, FL(Zone 9b)

JoAnne,

Let me riffle thru my seed basket and see.

I do recall i tried to grown them last year with no real success.
I WS'ed one in a Starbucks cup, and I didnt think it did anything until i saw a bloom in October... it's still in the cup, just in my unheated sun room.... so i must have some more seeds somewhere.

It really does look like an adorable flower ... so i do want to try again next year.

Terese

Jamaica Plain, MA(Zone 6a)

Maxine, I'd love your helenium orange bicolor if it's still available.
Thanks.
Sharon

PS. Please move your lists to the list thread, where everyone else's are.

Leesburg, FL(Zone 9b)

Maxine -- may i have rudbeckia cherry brandy ?

Terese

Frederick, MD(Zone 6b)

I should have some Gomphrena (from last year, hopefully both lavender and purple) to add to my list after Thanksgiving... but I don't want to promise them because I don't have time to go through my stash before then.

Browns Mills, NJ(Zone 6b)

Hello!
Gen....got ya

Maxine.... tagged ya also
May I also request your rudbeckia cherry brandy ?
Make sure you put your list on the List Tread also if you haven't done so already :-)
S. African Foxglove will be an annual in your zone

Browns Mills, NJ(Zone 6b)

Here's the link http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/923393/
Great minds.... your mom and I. :-)
I traveled alot and have no idea where the name came from. I know it's in a song. And I think there was a dancer with the name also. I used to use it as a handle on a cb radio back in the 80's when my dad didn't want me to travel without being able to call for help when I was going back home a state away

Winchester, KY(Zone 6a)

Maxine, I'd love to try both of your Heleniums. Gotcha covered on the Italian white sunflowers, gotta check to see if there are any more of the pink Clementine columbine- I'll get back to you and let you know.

Winchester, KY(Zone 6a)

Maxine, I had enough Clementine pink columbine for you- split what I had between you and Heavenscent and cheles_garden. That gives each of you 25-30 seeds. You're my 30th baggie!

GA, GA(Zone 7b)

Maxine, Any rudbeckia cherry brandy left?
I doubt it, but if so I'd love to try it!

Thanks,
Danita

Camden, AR(Zone 8a)

LeBug,
May I please have some of your Victoria Blue Salvia farinacea; Red Marbles 4:00; Rustic Colors Rudbeckia hirta; and Blue Wild Indigo Baptisia australis

I think that puts me at 50 or so that I have requested.... talk about pigging out !! I think I better QUIT looking at the list, I am not nearly all the way thru it and since I have NO experience with seeds.... I am afraid I won't get any of them to grow!!

Thanks everyone for sharing.....
genna

Leesburg, FL(Zone 9b)

Leesburg, FL(Zone 9b)

going to test it here

Strike Text

if this works.... use these < and > around the word "strike" and close the tag with "/strike"

OK -- that worked.

Greenville, IN(Zone 6a)

gen2026, I put those seeds in an envelope with your name on them :)

Sometimes seeds are a littler easier to get to germinate than you think, keep a positive attitude and you'll do great girl :) Get you a good seed book, might I suggest 'From Seed to Bloom' :

http://www.amazon.com/s/?ie=UTF8&keywords=from+seed+to+bloom&tag=googhydr-20&index=stripbooks&hvadid=1140198641&ref=pd_sl_10h4mf0oxu_b

This book is my bible for seeds lol A lot of people on here have used it, I have the second book on there too but I like the first better for understanding it with my pea brain :)

GA, GA(Zone 7b)

Yes, 'From Seed to Bloom' is a great book and the library here usually has a couple copies so you may want to check your's.

Browns Mills, NJ(Zone 6b)

Thank You, Genna! :-)

Camden, AR(Zone 8a)

OK, I don't know what you mean by close the tag.....but when I tried to edit it took that off my list.... so guess that is one way to do it.... LOL .... Not what I had in mind.

Cannagirl - I have you down for the Green Wizard and the Zinnia Giant Cactus as you requested on the list thread....
Thanks

Camden, AR(Zone 8a)

Also, cannagirl, can you put me down for some of your apple gourd seeds? I want to try some gourds this Spring as well....

Thanks!
Genna

Orrville, OH(Zone 5b)

Oh, I missed a feeding frenzy. Looks like I missed some good seeds.

Western, WI(Zone 4a)

Danita, I will put you down for the last one. The rudbeckia cherry brandy is filled.
Look it up and see what a gorgeous color it is. New this yr.

Maxine

Now where do I put the seed list that printed above?
My brain is muzzy today from all that has gone on. some how I lost my DH meds. for pain. Well, someone picked it up. Hope they have a great trip on them.
Fibro has been bad today, so excuse the mistakes that I will be making.

Thanks in advance.

Jamaica Plain, MA(Zone 6a)

Genna, do you have any of those hairy spider-like giant zinnias left? (forget what you called them.) If so, may I oink?

Leesburg, FL(Zone 9b)

Star -- have you found any "Nasties" yet? I have few seeds in a dish on my window sill. I have no idea what color they are, as i had a variety or orange, yellow, red, and a pretty MIX.

for me, they bloomed past out first frost. ... i just did not really get enough seeds to share, though i did see them on your WANTS list.

Leesburg, FL(Zone 9b)

Camden, AR(Zone 8a)

Trenton, MI(Zone 5b)

genna, thank you. I'm kind of glad it's only 10 seeds. That should make a nice small display in my garden without taking up toooo much room. :o)
And anything that says 'easy to start from seed' and 'great cut flower' are a 'must try' in my book. LOL

Maxine - 200 pigs - Yikes! I mean OINK!
