Morning everyone, Just getting up here, thanks for the coffee Stacey. I think I am going to get most of my sewing project done, as I won't be able to use my foot much after Friday!
I think I am off for a nice hot shower, and clear this junk out of my head, still stuffed up this morning, but feeling ok. Just stuffy.

Morning all ..

Got up to a cold morning and its supposed to freeze here toniht so I have some work to get done out back today preparing plants for the cold..

Talked with my Twin Step Daughters last few nights and they are begging to come live here. We havent sen them in 5 years now their mom is letting them call and talking about letting them come for the summer. Wandering what she is up too, very out of character with her. I feel so bad for the girls they miss us so much and hate living with their mom, they said there is 13 people living in their small house.. They say they are failing in school because they cant get any sleep at home so they end up falling asleep in school.... Makes me soooo angry....

Good morning all, popped in yesterday morning then went to sewing a quilt top, going to work on it some more today.

Punk Boy gives hugs back to all his adopted grandma's, and Auntie's.

YES... now that you've told us what your making... you HAVE to show us pictures... PLEASE.

I actually slept really good last night, LK... pain free. Seems these pills the doc gave me yesterday are helping. I took one 15 mins before eating dinner, and it really helped. It's called Reglan, and all it does is helps the stomach push the food on to the intestines more quickly. It's not meant to CURE anything... but it did help... so, I'll keep taking it till we know what else to do.

Prayers went up for all, all with the same intensity. Asking the Lord to help us all in our daily grinds and whatever we're about to face, let His hands be there to guide us and those with medical needs, let their doctors be wise, and those that need... that their needs be met, and all according to His will.

It's preettttttyyyyyy brrrrr... cold this morning. Got a few things to do this morning outside, think I'll be wise and stay indoors :D But got to leave for the post office pretty soon :(

Poor Flaming Kim.. bundle-up like the Michelin man, working out there in the cold. Wonder if she brings a flask of hot coffee with her?

I came from a very large family. With grandparents living with us there would be 10 in the house at all times. Sure there's ongoing chaos, but we all did well in school, go to bed at the proper time... but of course, the adults are geared towards making sure our well being comes first.
Then having grandparents around, gives that built-in babysitters.
I hope she's not making use of you Donna...

I have a bunch of leaves cut out, I just haven't sewn any of them yet. It is on the to do list for sure. I may sew them by hand, while my foot is healing?

Linda Kay, when did you tell us your next surgery date was? Is it this Friday? I thought I wrote it down on my sistah butterfly calendar but I didn't :(/ I will be praying for you before during and after your surgery for you to have a speedy recovery.

Yes, Deborah... you might have taken Reglan before... it's used to treat sever GERD sometimes. all it does is clear the stomach faster so it doesn't back up into the esophagus... mostly used in diabetes patients, but not always. Instructions say it shouldn't be taken longer than 12 weeks... and the most common side effect is sever depression... hmmmmm.... just what I need...

I know she's better off without him, but when i heard i laughed for an hour straight. barely pulled myself together before i talked to her. it is very hard to be sympatheticcause i never did like him.

With any affair though, there's a chance of becoming infected with the HIV virus. I think she should receive alimony and of course child support. The new 'boyfriend' could help pay it.
