I have had way too much of the applesauce cake today..can't stop going back for more.,..LOL

Carol, I just wrapped mine and also put the other in the freezer as I know I'd be doing the same..

Was wondering why I wasn't hungry, had applesauce for breakfast (what's left over from what was needed) then kept having slices of cake...ohoh...no dinner/no supper..tummy's full..lol

now what program was that?

Carol, I have about 4 of those programs on my puter but don't know how to save a pic from here. BEV

To save a picture from here open the thumbnail..and then when the picture is the larger size ..right click on it.
You will see a drop down box with options..one of which is Save picture as..then save it in My Picture folder or wherever you like to keep your pictures.

One day God was looking down at earth and saw all of the rascally behaviour that was going on.

So he called one of his angels and sent the angel to earth for a time.
When he returned, he told God, 'Yes, it is bad on Earth; 95% are misbehaving and only 5% are not.'
God thought for a moment and said, 'Maybe I had better send down a second angel to get another opinion.'
So God called another angel and sent him to earth for a time also.
When this angel returned he went to God and said, 'Yes, it's true.

The earth is in decline; 95% are misbehaving, but 5% are being good.'

God was not pleased.
So he decided to email the 5% who were good, because he wanted to encourage them, give them a little something to help them keep going.

Wow Bev, is that right now, this year in the snow. So pretty, but too early for me. I will take that any day in a month from now, before Christmas.

I may have a new job hopefully soon. It is similar in nature to what I am doing now as a diasabled person's job coach only this will be with the Department of social Services, working for a contractor for them, helping people get jobs and off the Welfare system. I would love that and feel good about it, it is considered temporary full time, to possible permanant. Pray for me all you who pray.

Early morning hello to all of you....won't be a snow day..storm is now calm! I did want a snowday though..lol

Got up early and visited for a few minutes with the Victorian Santa girls..omg saw Deborah posted after 3am..nighthawk or she was determined to finish him..lo

OMG all of you wishing for snow..can't believe it..give me short and tank top weather...

Dawn thanks for asking, mom called yesterday and we gabbed for only a few seconds...must keep my patience as she still does seem a bit off..she has appts. to follow through with so lets hope something can help..

Laura, most of all the same girls are on, but many have been going through difficult times and visit here and there but I do know from d-mails that they are well and they will return each in their own time..

YOU my dear should not be staying quiet, lurking out there, the women who post are such fine people, loving, compassionate just as we all are..wether they know you or not all are willing to hold your hand and offer you love and support...

I do think maybe you are feeling like a stranger because of the diagnosis...don't stay on your own Laura, you know we care.

We can only say 'hi' Laura or hoping you are well Laura if you don't take a chair, sit and gab...and Laura, you must know from peering into the past, you have many friends here on this thread...

Wether written on paper, or written through the tap of keys, you have friends as close as the keyboard..either on a thread or d-mail...

So head UP, probably not though, you are off to bed aren't you, but still, HEAD UP, look in the mirror and say, "Lord I'm thankful for all these friends' 'earthly angels you have sent'

Many of us on this thread and others Laura have gone through some of, if not all of what you are experiencing..you know what got or is getting us through it, it's the support and love we feel as we open the thread, knowing a kind soul is at the other end holding a hand out and gentle squeezing our hand to say 'I'm here for you' but first sometimes we have to make the effort to show we too are a friend...

It's not all just laughing, giggling, crafts, shopping although we post these things, but when one is in need I can guarantee all will be there...

So have your rest, come and have coffee with us, know you are LOVED...that's the most important thing anyone can experience..knowing they are loved....

Must run..no more preaching..too early in the morning..besides, my Ministries are on and they are a must to start my day~

Drive in was a little nerve racking until we hit Barrie then the roads cleared! Bev, my ride in up until then was a beautiful vision, heavy ladden trees just like your photo..

So here I am back at work (or play) going to continue gathering santa gowns/sleeves for the Friday workshop then all can be put back into storage for another 20 years...won't be me taking it out..lol

Janice, how are those Christmas cards coming? Got the hang of it..knowing you, you've been up all night making them ready for posting today right?

Did my Christmas budget awhile ago, staying on target, wouldn't you know what I did forget to budget in the household account is $550.00 for plowing...sometimes I wonder if it would not be better to invest in snowblower BUT then I'd be the one out there in freezing temps doing an extrememly long driveway and pathways...think I'll pass..well worth the $$$...

So Wonder Laura, tell us what is planned for rice a roonie, I might need your idea in order to eat this week...chuckling...

You guys, guess what? The sil, who I got a job with me, finally. Left my dd and the baby last week. They moved out and I think he is pursuing a girl in my job. It is so hard for me to go act normal at work. I want to smack both of them. My poor baby. She is staying at my x's house with my son's girl friend and her baby and it makes her cheered up not to be sitting here alone. :(

Here I was feeling bad about our snow and all it did was cover the lawn and garden, streets are clear. Nothing like you have had. So...glad that Stacey and I didn't come to see you this weekend. Driving in snow is NOT my thing.
Yes, I was up late doing cards but I don't like the results. I did the snowman but didn't like it at all. Guess I will just have to do some more with different ribbon. I think that is part of the problem. I like your metalic ribbons; mine were just plain. I'm going to try the bell today.
Yesterday seemed like a lost day; cards didn't work, Santa still not the way I want him, other projects either got stopped for one reason or another or didn't get started.

Dawn, it sure sounds like the SIL has a screw loose if he is carrying on an affair right under your nose. What the heck is wrong with people? Have they no scrupples at all?? What a jerk, your daughter is better off without him.

I didn't realize that your daughter in law was moving out. Are you okay with that? How often will you get to see the baby? I bet it is a big difference with them being gone. One good thing is that you will be able to get on the computer again.
