45 minutes and off I go..

I am thinking Victorian Santa LOL!! I was supposed to go to a crab dinner with a friend of mine tonight but she had to cancel, 2nd week in a row, because her child is sick and her hubby has to work tonight, so I'll just feed myself whatever and work on the Santa. Man I'm glad yesterday was a holiday, got good deals on new clothes and after today the weekend is just 2 days away!! I still have 2 more hours left ugg.. what time is it there? Are you on the same time zone I am, it's 2:42 here?

It is 1:09 here right now.....so Betty is three hours difference...same as my sis in New York.

Well I guess I'm on my own for dinner, Dave's got to go to work at 5:30. Poo. Maybe he'll cook me something before he goes LOL! I guess I can't use Dave as an excuse tonight for not working on the Santa. Darn LOL

Betty, Just want to tell you I play that scrabble game...as did my DM...and Maeve does cheat! LOL I always thought Mom was goofing with me, but then I got the game.

I was thinking about buying the scrabble but if all of that cheating is going on I'll never play it lol!

I am going to continue on my Santa but my asthma is kicking in from the cold and I can't stop coughing, so I'm going to take a bath to warm up my bronchial tubes. This is from the cold and what happens when the house is kept below 72 degrees, so I've turned the heat up and in the bath I go to stop the itching!

Ah, much better! Now I'm hot and sweaty but at least the itching and coughing is gone. I might have to use my inhaler tonight, I am really congested.

Well I got the little things sewn down for the armpits Woo Hoo!! I was going to work on the gathering but I'm tired so I'm going to do it tomorrow.

My asthma is caused by cold air and is mild. I hardly wees at all and I just have this dry, hacky cough. I have to have the heater in the house set at 72 or above to not have an episode, right not it's set at 68. I breathe in the cold air, which inflames my bronchial tubes and makes them itch, the itch causes the cough. In the summer if I have an air conditioning vent above me I'll cough my head off until it either shuts off or I move. It's quite annoying more than anything.

I'll see you tomorrow, going to turn up the heat, take a couple of breaths on my inhaler, and go to bed and watch some old Seinfeld reruns. LOL

can ou believe i have hayfever??? for goodness sakes..... well at least its something simple but really annoying!! makes my teeth feel itchy! yes itchy!!! now i know u will say that craqzy australian has really lost her mind! well the old one could do with being lost,,, but the new one is suffering itchy teeth and gums from hayfever....
I have taken meds too... strange...

anyways,,, very tired from doing full time work but ok... nap when i get home and all.
all the family is well and my oldest son is out and about working and going out with girls again finally after his engagement broke up a couple of years ago.

have to keep on focusing about christmas... and the gifts.... should be ok i think.

am hoping and maybe u could pray that the packages turn up.. im sp disappointed......

How dreadful Stacey...is there anything you can take for the allergy...must be difficult to cope with the headaches..I am forever thankful to the USA for Exedrin Migraine..suffered terribly, as soon as they would start I'd be off to the Dr's or Hospital for a shot to put me out for 24 hrs....now with this med which I cannot be this side of the border but always when I travel or friends travel they bring me back a few bottles...drug run...lol no more headaches..

Now is there a wonder pill or drug you both can take?
Early start for you as well Stacey..sure hope you find work that will allow you to sleep in at least until 7am..

I am keeping my chin up-have applied for several jobs and have gottne emails for an official submission of my resume on specific companies sites, so I am hopeful-I would be happy to sleep til 6am-that is 2 more hrs than I get now and think I would be more refreshed and energized....I feel real poopy today and hope to be able to make it 1/2 a day...when it gets real bad I take ibuprofen-reduces the inflamation of both the throat and the sinuses hence reducing the pain...

Just a quick pop in. I just got the news that they got all my sisters cancer!!! Now I have to get ready for work. Thanks again for all the prayers!

Must be the weather, all are running late..girls still haven't arrived but then Suzanne and I left 1/2 hr. earlier and got to office same time...so dark outside, rain expected till Mon. or Tues. and then snow...rather rain...

Vicki, what wonderful news..couldn't ask for a better news..You must be so very busy at work right now...omg, we looked and looked for mini lights, miniature battery operated and didn't we find them at our Dollarama...so exciting..it's to put in the grapevine balls that hangs from the santas... doesn't take much to excite me does it...

I take Allegra 180 for my allergies, etc. It really helps the itchy throught and coughs!
I've never had itchy teeth, but sometimes my bones itch! I have arthritis, and I'd rather they itched than hurt! LOL!^_^

Hard to believe so many have allergies..is it something you all have been born with OR something that just happens?

I think I've had mine since birth! I remember coughing and sinus drainage when I was a little girl. Of course back then, they thought it was "worms"! Anybody ever have to take Vermifuge? ARRGH!

No fun for sure..my 2 brothers and sister both have allergies, I did have asthma first couple years of my life then 'gone'...lucky me..

This goes on all winter until it warms up again. Probably in December to February I'll have to hit the Advair a couple of times, which I hate cause that stuff is sooooooooo expensive! I wish mine was allergies, it would be a lot easier to maintain. Allergy medicine does not help me at all, not one smiggen.

I have itchy bones too, feels like you want to rip the skin open and scratch. Horrible. Never have had itchy teeth, that has to be awful.

The Exedrin Migraine hasn't passed the regulation boards I believe so cannot be purchased..have no clue why, Kyle (grandson) Suzanne (SIL) Melanie (DIL) have all been introduced to them since they helped me and are doing same..no big deal though because it's easy access..Aline is in Florida this week, first hting she did was call me before leaving and ask if I wanted some...few other friends do the same..I almost feel as though I'm a druggie..with everyone calling asking if I want meds..

The After Hours Clinic is a group of 30 doctors who take turns manning the office each and every night, have no clue why I keep forgetting about them..anyway they all via computer and health link have access to each others patients..he was amazed that I take NO medication..didn't tell him about my smuggling Excedrin though..lol
