I agree, ducbucin, I never tire of seeing the Painted Buntings. I've only seen one in my life and that was several years ago. The only orioles we get are Orchards. We had Baltimores fly through during migration but they did not stay.
Thanks for the comment on the cardinal pic, too.
Nanny, I cannot for the life of me get those contrary Blue jays to let me take their picture!
I;m waiting for the Red-breasted Nuthatch to come back. anyday now (I hope)

Gp, thanks for the pic of the Oriole!! I think I miss them the most, since this year was my first ever in having them. They just mesmerized me!! lol
Up to yesterday pics..I didn't have alot of time yesterday things to do..and I went and got my hair cut yesterday. It was down to my waist and it was just getting in the way, so it had to go. But she left me enough so I still have a little ponytail through my baseball cap!! lol
On my morning walk with Buddy I spotted this Eastern Towhee...it was talking to another in the woods.
Love the female Painted Bunting GP!
Very nice pics nanny; love the sapsucker!
great photos all.... love the 14 hummers... I would have a heart attack if I saw all those at once
any one know if orioles are seen in northern NJ.... I always see the feeders in the store.... but I have never spotted one around here
