A Red-tailed Hawk circling among the Bald Eagles and Vultures this past weekend .....

Nice pics everyone! I have been away from my computer too, evie_beevie and it takes awhile to look through them all but it's a wonderful journey. Here is a pic of a Ruby=crowned Kinglet that finally sat still for me this afternoon

The Tufted Titmice and Carolina Chickadees were fussing at me for standing so close to their feeder! Here's the Titmouse

I know these are captives, but the enclosure was really cool and they were flying right above and around our heads.

I know they aren't very well liked but, look at the colors! and they were cracking me up with their hoots and whistles. So cute. we were feeding them peanuts in the parking lot where we ate our lunch.

You know what is strange. I have tons of starlings all over the place now (in trees). I can hear all those whistles and stuff too, but they aren't coming to the feeders right now. Interesting. They are coming for water, but that's it!

My hummers were enjoying the rain again yesterday.

Forgot to tell you all I loved the pictures. I've never heard of an Inca Tern-very interesting.

I love the noise of the Starlings and they don't ever bother my feeder.

Nanny, great photos, all of them.

I read that a hummingbird can stick its tongue out as long as its beak's length. I think this about proves that.

This bird looked like it was catching some rain on the tongue.
