They are all so beautiful,it's hard to pick a favorite!! Their foliage is so clean and shiny.

Beautiful pictures, Gail. I think my little strep is a gonner. I haven't given up yet. I re-potted into mostly perlite with a little av mix. Keeping her on the dry side. Time will tell. Poor little thing. :(

keep her cool and bagged

Lovely pictures Gail. What the last ones name? Did you try hybridizing yet? You have some great blooms to try it.

Anyone know the answers to Susans question above??

Williston, ND

Ill bet thats space dust,

JIM

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

That last one is space dust!!! Jim is right...........two plants.........one blooms true....the other doesn't and together they are beautiful............YES, SUSAN, WITHOUT A DOUBT, YOU SPRAY THE THIRD TIME FOR THRIPS...........

thanks everyone.............I wish they would all start blooming...........they are being lazy now..............

You will have to remind me, PlantMomo, about Country Plum if she will ever get any stolons!!!!!!!!!! Maybe I planted some and don't remember.........

Sally, have faith about the election. We are never in control , but God is and that is comforting. I try to totally trust God with my life and those I love.

Thanks Gail, will do again next Sat... Do I still cut all little buds trying to come up? I am also going to put Marathon in all plants again as it has been awhile since I did that... I am going to mark it this time on the calender... I miss all my flowers and I feel like I am a baby crying on here. :-(

Just be happy you got to them in time.............I am sorry but you cannot do anything BUT debud. Look at this way..........before shows people debud their avs and streps for many months (well not streps but 3 months on streps) so they will bloom with fire!!!!!!!! That is what yours will do and you will be so excited to have that many blooms at once!

Marathon lasts a lot longer than AdmirePro.......Admire Pro lasts only 6 weeks and is a drench. I don't know what I am talking about but I think Marathon lasts at least 3 months or so..............

maybe someone else knows.........I only do it whenever I change the size of the pots.
I sprayed last night AVid as a preventative........................it is not biggie........they just bloom better...........

We don't always understand God's will and we are not supposed to............just trust him and know that He will never leave you. We might need to be dmailing as politics and religion are off limits on DG, Sally. Neither of us wants to get kicked off.
I don't want to shock you but their are supporters of both sides to this election..........

Andalusia, AL(Zone 8b)

aww space dust,I should have know that one. It's a beauty.

How cool it is Susan, your going to the convention.Lilypad is going too.Maybe you all could meet up there.Like in the sales room at a certain time.^_^

I just got an email from RainGazer. JP, her husband, tore up his knee and had to have surgery two weeks ago. Now he has a blood clot in his leg..........she is asking for prayers.

Whitsett, NC(Zone 8a)

I don't have any new blooms . . . Fancy Pants is still looking good, though. I thought I would show the progress my strep leaves I posted the other day are making.

Congrats on the survival of that beauty in the first photo.

OK...I have NO MORE ROOM for plants...but I love the fantasy streps and I love purple....so I might have to make room for that one in the future!

Thanks for sharing your photos...I have nothing blooming at the moment...but gave my mom Strep. 'Blue Mars' yesterday for her birthday that has several buds!

Here is a picture of the 'rescue' AV from HD earlier this year. This is the first time it has bloomed since I debudded and repotted, in an effort to make it look better back in June, I think?

I had SO hoped it was Crimson Ice http://www.avsa.org/Photographs/CrimsonIceLrg.jpg#http://../Photographs/CrimsonIceLrg.jpg#, but it's looking more like O. Millennia - which IS sold at HD's . . . http://www.optimara.com/optimarafieldguide/varietiesm-z/millennia.html
