Bonnie, some one gave that cacti last month, so I am happy now to knnow that it blooms, i saw the pic among other things and said, cactus, then I saw the posting and you confirmed. I bring ALL of my cacti outside and full sun, they all love it and bloom like crazy. They are gorgeous like brugs and some smell beautifull too!

Fever is still there. But at least now I know what I'm 'fighting' Have a Kidney infection that went into a blood infection. So I am now on 2 antibiotics (guess they work together?) to fight the bacterial blood infection and the kidney infection.

and mom is off to her retreat now... I tried to fit in her suitcase, but these meds make me swell up like a big ole balloon.... so no room for me in there :o( maybe next year ....

Tammie, I tried some of the Anti Stress polymer coating last year... it was okay, but I still had aphids down there.. I added eucalyptus oil to the recipe to attempt to deter them and this year used a tree and shrub insect repellant. Karen, sorry bout the teeny worms.. I think we're all a TM at some time or another.. wouldn't want our thread to go stagnant ;) Donna, Becky, Clemen, HonorableTMPhyllis..everyone- sweet brug dreams. Karen, problem is I have lost interest on holidays, specially Christmas, to tell you the truth i did not even buy a pumpkin this year, so unusual for me. the girls are older and Christmas ornaments, oh well, we have way to many and our Christmas tree keeps getting smaller and smaller. We try to buy real ones with roots so we can plant them outside. So I'll pass on the ornament, i would contribute to a small gift though?? just an idea!

I am with Clemmie on the ornaments. I am not going to see my DGD's as my ex-son is cruel. So I won't even bother with a tree. Plus money is really tight.

Santa won;t visit my house because my son told him I am not worth the trouble. I am very very bad. :o( He is hurting the girls by doing this and as they get older they will resent him for what he is doing.

OK enough of that. The tears are starting to flow. I love those little angels and I have been a huge part all their life till now. And I am innocent but not in his eyes. Their birthdays just passed and I missed out on that too. But in about 10 yrs they will be back. I know they will. My heart breaks everyday because I see something I want them to see or a thought crossed my mind and I think of them. Oh well enough of that. It is not going to change it. lol

My other friendly neighbor moved today to Chicago. Now I am alone here at home too. I will be OK. I am staying as busy as I can.
finishing up on hurricane clean up. Have to cut up a bunch of limbs for the fire place and mow and bag it. That will be a job. But I can do it. Alittle at a time.

I wanted to say anjl has a Great co-op going. I got some gloves last time and I love them. Sure beats the surgical ones at walmart. If you haven't yet go take a look. most 2,70 a pair. They fit to where you can pick ip a dime wearing them.

The antistress 2000 did not work really well on aphids.. but just a tiny bit of joy dish soap in water spray does aphids in very quickly! That is what I use for aphids all year! Works great! They turn back in no time. My parents orelanders turn yellow with aphids every year. I fill the 2 gallon sprayer with a Joy mix and go to town spraying ... you should see the soapy foam after it rains sometimes! I do get a little carried away if the aphids are really really heavy.. like icky heavy on the plants.. they don't get that bad on mine because I carry a little spray bottle of it with me when I walk my yard and spritz any tips I find aphids on before they every really get a good start. I can spot those little suckers when there are just a few on a tip! I HATE APHIDS WORSE THAN ANYTHING.. don't know why.

Beck I don’t think you are suppose to go running around after those shots. I’m pretty sure the requirement is no driving and 24 hours bed rest. You best be careful, ya hear.

I’ll be another MIA for most of the day, going to run some errands then visit with my DD and DGS, and hold out there until my DGD comes home from school. I’ll be here awhile yet though. We are supposed to have great weather today; highs should be in the 60’s lows for the kiddies tonight in the upper 40’s. I hope we get more of this nice stuff next week so I can finish the outside.

Okay, we got the news last night. Massive layoffs...right now, we think Keith will still be traveling, but how much and how long has yet to be determined. So, we may be in for another slow construction winter. We have done this before, and have saved back just for this, but for a while I may be the only breadwinner around here. So, I'm really going to be busy with work. So, please remember, I will check in when I can and still love ya'll to pieces, but sometimes you just have to do what you have to do.

Maybe I can get some "honey-dos" done, like finishing my kitchen!! We tore out last November and it is still unfinished. And I'm still cooking in there... Guess if I'd stop cooking it would get finished faster maybe?? LOL!

Okay, lunch is over, back to work. Everybody have a great Friday and may all of your trick or treaters be cuties! Peg
