Yes, I quit my job after being lied to by the new owners!!
Our proposals supposedly weren't doable for the company then, but they took them to the new plant, and apply them!!
My colleagues told me to be patient and wait for the plant to fold so we could collect compensations. I didn't.. I couldn't face myself if I were to stay just for the money.
I'm glad I didn't.. there weren't any compensations :D

The last straw-the other girl that I work with that is just below me and I have to alternate weekdns to work-I switched her 2X-once to go to an amusement park and once for her step-cousins wedding. I asked her to switch me the weekend after Xmas for the weekdn after new years or the one B4 Xmas and she siad no-no plans, just won't do it-my mom who I haven't seen since last Xmas is coming up from GA and will be at my house 12/26-12/29-I have to work now the 26th, the 27th, on call the 28th and work the 28th-I wanted to quit at that very moment and if I didn't have a mortgage I would've:( I wanted to cry!! I know it may sound dumb, but I had accepted the fact that my boss was lazy and expected me to do 1.2 her work load and mine as well, but thought that the other girl and I were on the same page-apparantly not-now that I know whe is completely selfish and doesn't beleive that turn about is fair play, she had better NEVER ask me for another thing as I will laugh til I cry-snorting and all....

Some people are in it for all the greed, money and glory for themselves! Glad to hear you quit, there are better things in life.

My Sweetie was asked to take the manager's job at his hardware store, and he doesn't want it! To much time and headaches! This would only be till the girl who wants to buy the store can take over.

Audrey, it would be a nice promotion, but I agree with the headaches. Some job's just aren't worth it.

It's 48 here right now... only got down to 45 last night.
I had a regular old fashioned upset tummy last night... woke up around 1am with a foot cramp... and I just now woke up... guess all in all, I slept good... thanks for asking, LK.

No fall colors here Jaye... we don't usually get good fall foliage. We just go from green leaves to brown, then bare trees.

Marion's home, and exhausted... shhhh, let's let her sleep in this morning.

Colors aren't good here this year either. :O( It was just way too dry and they just turned dead brown.

Last year at this time I was in Maine. Oh what glorious colors there were there!

m-m-m-m-morn'in! It's chilly here!

Maine! Oh, Joyce, that's one of our favorite places to vacation. DH and I were there two years in a row and both times in October. Beautiful. We stayed in Camden and took day trips from there. Spent one day on Monhegan Island - that was fun.

Hey Jaye, my next foot surgery will be 21 Novemeber. So by new years, I should have happy feet!!!

We were supposed to go this year, too, but finances caused us to give that up. :O( When you have a big ole pickup and gas was over $4.00 when we had to make the decision....

Bummer.

I have to go back...I didn't see a moose....

Morning All,

I don't know how cold it is outside, but it's 64 inside this house. I keep window open all day and all night. But will be closing up come Friday 4 days of rain yipee. I will be getting the rest of bulbs and plants in the gorund so they can have some good water.
Remember me telling you about the methane gas in our well water. Well the owner of the park neglected to fulfill his obligation to treat it so now he has to hook up to city water HA HA serves him right for being a jerk. Will cost him about $500,000.

ouch, but good news for you and the others in the park. serves him right.

That is indeed good news Cindy! That owner should be thinking of everyone's safety!
We sistahs need to plan for an Autumn Leaves expedition one year. I'd love to see covered bridges..
