nice.
no sunrise here ,must be cloudy.
Todays Weather in Your Garden - 32
I am very lucky to see some of the most beautiful sunrise's here in Maine. I wish I had your talent Jo Anne so I could paint what I saw not just snap a camera.
Hey dont deminish the camera work, you have done some really nice pictures.
Thank you madame, your very kind!
Hope everyone survived the "tricks"
I find Pixie's sunrise very enjoyable, too

we are both exhausted after yesterday... but it was worth every bit of effort decorating ... we had a blast with all the kids trick or treating... and thank you all for the good luck wishes but I didn't hear anything.... so I am guessing we didn't win the contest
:(
I missed seeing the sunrise today, as I got out of bed too late. Celeste, you weren't watching the LIVE Ghost Hunters last night? (hee hee hee!!)
It's not as chilly this morning and actually feels a bit warmer than yesterday, but I know that's a false 'read' on my part. Must brave the Saturday crowds later to get the groceries for the week. Ugh!!

Thanks, Allison. I had missed that link.
I agree with Celeste, you should have won!! Hands down!
The photos taken at night were the best.
thank you.... dreading packing all this stuff up now... but we are going to leave it up for a few more days... all the expensive things are in already though... don't want them getting wrecked
Fantastic, Allison.
Warm here. 58 and mostly sunny. Will chill down overnight.
What do you suppose he is thinking.
Wow - beautiful! Did you carve that?
Allsion, your yard was super creepy, my kids would have avoided your house!
Randy carved it... and I will tell him you liked it Victor
you would be surprised how many little ones loved it Jen
28* with a sunny high of 50.
Happy Daylight Savings Everyone!.... it's 37 going up to 51

I wish we could just leave the time alone.
It takes me a couple of days to orient my sleep now that we are back to Standard time.
I think that's most of us..... I wish we could stop this nonsense too
Wow, last year seems like I was the only one who didn't like DST, glad you're here with me!
There was a movement to do away with it back in the Nixon era.
Guess with all the other stuff going on at the time it was buried.
The govt. started DST duering WW2 to keep the factory workers going as long as possible, also farmers who also had factory jobs to do both, till the fields by day, work on a line somewhere at night.
Apart from safety for children waiting for school buses ,I cant think of any reason for it.
Another BURR morning and I missed the sunrise!
Fair: 28°
Barometer:30.38 in and rising
Humidity:43%

Thats OK we have it here, just a glow in the east, no clouds for intresting detail.
Your hydrangeas have gone to sleep for the winter huh? MIne too, along with everything else!
The late May frost made the blossoms develope deep in the plant so it wasn't as full of blooms as the year before.
No blossoms showed, there were lots of them they were just green all summer.
Funny how these new, supposedly more economical daylight saving time switches consume so much more energy.
It's blindingly bright outside.

Partly cloudy, 34ºF ; High, 50ºF ; Low, 43ºF
Wind: 3 mph, direction ESE

Willie, our sunrise is after yours ... how did that happen?
Current stats:
Very bright and sunny
27°

Humidity: 92%
Dewpoint: 25°
Pressure: 30.40 in. and steady

39 and sunny. I wish daylight savings time was the permanent one! They did leave it all year around one year in the energy crisis in the early 70's, but the school kids waiting in the dark forced them to stop.
Candyce, I am not sure what my weather program is doing time-wise ..... maybe it was written before these [insert negative adjectival explicative here] new dates for the time changes came about. I thought about that very thing as I was posting it.
"I wonder if these times are correct??" I was in bed late and got up late, so I missed the actual sun rising.
Sure was a lot easier when we were using the sundial!
It's already 40ºF out! Picture perfect fall morning.
Yep, willie! I remember the sundial. It sure was easier 'way back then, and we were only about 15 minutes late (or early) for appointments!
And paralyzed on cloudy days!
It was a little on the chilly side today. High of 52 low of 38
40 now.... going up to 58
we had some showers overnight that I don't recall them saying would happen
nothing new
