I was going to say the same thing about the climate change.
My daughter and I ended up with a cold these past couple of days, I'm blaming the wacky weather.
Todays Weather in Your Garden - 32
Good morning everyone
Its nearly 50* now going for a high in the 60's. Weatherman says it will be the last after the weekend. Cold weather is comming next week.
54 now going up to 63.... we have a dense fog advisory .... it was pretty thick driving home last night too
Pretty foggy here too. We are supposed to have wet weather the next couple of days. So much for getting rid of the leaves in the back yard!
47, I did get a walk in this morning.
I'm going now ,mornin Deb
Hi JoAnn
52, foggy and drizzling. Received a bit more then 3/4" so far. More in the forecast.
Amazing change in the temps for the last few morning and today.

Airport report
Wind from the ESE (120 degrees) at 12 MPH (10 KT)
Visibility 10 mile(s)
Sky conditions mostly cloudy
Temperature 57.0 F
But some blue, though it looks like the day is declining. It seems very mild and the wind at my house is not blowing 12 as it is reported at the airport, but more like 4mph and the temp is 59 here.
The airport is about 2 miles away, but much closer to the Ocean, as we face the harbor and the sound. Of course when they built the airport years ago, it was built on the spot most prone to fog on the island. With the economy troubles and with passenger numbers are way down, of course, they are building a new terminal right now. It seemed like a big waste to me when they proposed it some years ago. I fly a lot or am out there constantly out there picking people up and on, IMHO, only few days each summer did it ever seem remotely too small. Maybe that is why the country is broke. Too many keeping up with the "Jone's", bigger and better at no matter the cost projects in both the public sector and the private.
I am guilty too. How many bulbs will I be planting that??? Out to enjoy the day. Here is my new JM Butterfly' (trying to keep up with the "Victor's" and 'Wha's" and some fall oddities, daylily and glad still blooming. Have a good one all. Patti
Looking good Patti, that red bush(lower right in the colage) is stunning against the background.
Lovely Patti! Very envious of the blooms. ^_^
Very nice - and the JM looks great.
The JM does look nice, to echo Victor. Love the colors.
Louise ~ I'm so sorry that Hank isn't feeling well. Are you still doing OK? I hope you both get better very quickly!!! You are so right. There's enough to worry about in the first month back in FL without having to get sick, too!!
Today's current weather stats ....
Rainy and drizzly
45°
Wind: 0 MPH
Humidity: 93%
Dewpoint: 43°
Pressure: 30.00 in.
Sunrise: 6:38 am
Sunset: 4:22 pm
It will be a bit chillier next week, 'they' say.
Patti - love your collage of what is still blooming in your garden! I'm amazed at all of those beauties you still have. I just came in from snapping a few shots of what's in my yard this morning. I put them into a collage too, so that you can get a quick peak at the color I'm enjoying here too. All of these are from this morning......
I think the climate change theory is probably a good one. Hank is now feeling better....thanks for the nice thoughts for him!!
I thought today was supposed to be sunny!!?? It's 57 now and has been drizzly riany ALL day.
Thanks for the well wishes for Doug---now it's Hank's turn! My 2 GD were here yesterday, both congested---hope I can escape it! Louise, we usually head to FL the week after Christmas---if we can get a dog sitter, we'll be there until the 1st week of Feb. If the dogs have to be kenneled, only 3 weeks of sun for us! Patti--can't believe all those blooms---nothing here except drizzle & fog. Went to the orchard & picked out some different varieties---Fall pippin & red cort, both new to me. Could not see any of the hills today, & the fog is getting much thicker now.
It was gorgeous today, almost called in to work with gardenitis.
Opposite here! It's thundering now.
Gardenitis. LOL, Deb!
My son just called awhile ago. He is in Conn. and it was already completely dark where he is and we still had another hour of daylight left here. I still don't get how that happens.
Tonight we will walk down to the River to watch the NASA launch at 7:55. You can see it in the NE sky from here when the sky is clear. This will bring back memories of way back when I was a kid here and watched some of the first launches.
Very hot and muggy here today. I'm looking forward to the coming cold front!
CT is a lot more east than where you are, Louise. Also, due to the tilt, there is a difference as you go south - more light.
Donniebrook, Enjoy the blast off. hope you have clear skies in Fl. We saw it once while on Sanibel. Cool sight.
We had a blast off of a different kind today. Our main computer crashed due to a nasty infection. DH opened up an email that said it was from UPS about an undeliverable package. Crashed. He then called our fix-it service Plumchoice and they noted that this one was a new one, as it was not yet reported. Fortunately he was able to recover everything. It took a long time. But it is so scary when everything just disappears. Patti
Bummer, Patti. There was a warning about that one weeks ago.
Victor, So now you tell me. Too bad the security firm didn't seem to know about it. Not a good sign. DH should have noticed that it was screwy or so he says, now. It had the words UPS and USPS in the title. Can't be both. Patti
Patti, this thread was started Sept. 4th....I'm so sorry you didn't see it!!!

Thanks, I posted over there to bump so people might see it is still floating around. Patti
Goog morning everyone
Sorry about the crash Patti.
temp 49* and rainey
Temps going down and expected high tomorrow of 39* and a low of 31*
Poured earlier, now just a good rain. I hope it brings down the rest of the leaves, so we can be done with the raking. 60 degrees. Patti
58 and rainy.
New thread...

It is pouring buckets here in Bridgeport. Looks like I should have cleaned the gutters last weekend instead of going to Vermont. Sigh.
Patti - I'm glad you mentioned the UPS message. I hadn't seen that thread or any other warning about it either. Good to know, but sorry you had to deal with it!!
Victor...thanks for the daylight info! We did not get to see the blast-off because the sky was covered with clouds. That ended up being ok, because our NH vet called to check on Molly and we would have missed his call. He's something else!
The last of the really hot/humid days here today, thankfully. I ignored the sweltering sauna and planted my transported coleus and fertilized/watered all my plants across the front of the house.
