I take my guys early - while it's still light. When I get tired of answering the door, all the lights go out and we hide in the upstairs tv room! Hee hee. (Have to save some of the good candy for me!)
We light a fire in the outdoor fireplace, and sit outside til the kids are done. Then we invite some of the adults back for a brew.

Just bought the small packs of potato chips & cheese curls. We don't have many goblins anymore and as I am diabetic, couldn't eat the candy & DH doesn't have a sweet tooth. Supposed to reach 60 tomorrow, it won't in the morning but maybe I can get a 1/2 day of weeding.
I CAN'T WAIT.... we have all our stuff ready to go... a few things we aren't putting out till tomorrow .. didn't want to risk them getting wrecked with the storm yesterday... but I think Randy will have it under control... I will be sure to take photos for you guys... and we should find out the results of the decorating contest tomorrow.... wish us luck!!!

It's way too soon! At least it's too soon for me.
But I remember that last year and the year before we did not have snow before Halloween. Last year our first snowfall, if you could call it that, was on November 8th. I had to go look at my photos to remember that date.
