Still breezy here. I don't mind it if it's chilly but what's with the wind????
We lost power Tuesday night into Wednesday, I can only assume the wind had something to do with it. It's only 35, brrrrrrr

We'll definately be in the Villages, Louise--you & Hank can come up & visit--we're trying to sell the place--I've got lots of work to do there! But we really love Ft. Myers Beach & MAY get there. Wow, I guess I was really cranky when I wrote the last post! Not seeing the sun does that to me--today is 45 & sunny, so I walked over the dam & feel cheerier!

I hope to get out to the garden today even just to look at it, haven't seen it since last Friday. That weather sounds good JoAnn.
I think it will be a good walking day as well as planting and cleaning.
They are predicting temps in the 20's for next week.
Glad the bulbs will be in and so I can save the skin on my fingers.
Last sunny day before a week of predicted rain.

Cold! 28 and a bit overcast. Lots of frost.
Heavy frost last night.
Hydrangea is spinach, as is all container plants, deck coated with frost.
Finished off everything except hostas under trees.
32.9 right now, no wind, 100% humidity (sounds odd to me since it's not raining and the sun is out). The low overnight was 31. So how come we didn't have a frost? Is it dependent on wind?
We have no wind, but lots of frost.
We had frost, too. I heard DH scraping the windshield at 6:30 am. Supposed to go to mid 60's today. Must get out and finish the bulbs.
First time frost. glad that all bulbs are planted. Must plant peonies since both are here. called song sparrow garden this morning to tell them the plant of DO TELL was lovely. Now to get it planted.

Overcast and 52. Supposed to get a decent rain. We'll see.
Its been raining all night an will continue until Monday.
Supposed to rain today - but we have blue skies. I have my nieces again today so gardening is out. Tomorrow I'm free, but guaranteed it will be raining!
Watching the bird feeders, Goldfinches are back to winter yellow green.
The dogs are starting to shed a lot more this weekend.
Cats are growing soft undercoat.
So am I...
HEE hee Victor.
Can you sew buttons on it and wear it for a coat?
Don't let it get matted Victor! lol
That's why I sleep on my back!
Feet straight up or relaxed side to side? lol
My cat will go throw himself in front of the sliding doors and lay in the sun on his back. Both front paws are stretched up high over his head and legs are flopped side to side. We tell everyone who comes into the livingroom to excuse the cat, he's sunbathing!
I miss cuddling with my cats after they had been napping on the bed where the sun was. They were so nice and warm.
Yes, they really do love the sun.
I have a confession, my SNOW dog does the same thing. Oh, lite a fire in the fire place and watch what happens...I had to put her fur out last winter!! We now have a "new and improved" screen.
Yes, my cats lay on the boiler when it's on!
Went with the girls to Petco - they had the cutest cats for rescue. I came so close to giving in.
I'm late today, too, but we were all over at the elderly neighbors today splitting and stacking wood for them for the winter. Needless to say, she just about cried, because we had called a whole bunch of other neighbors to come and help. Even part of the local Boy Sxout troop and their leaders showed up to help. I say 'we', but I didn't do as much as I wanted to do to help. Mostly just kept the toddler out f the way. But, about four cords of wood got cut and stacked for winter! I'm so proud of my town!!
