Rhapsody. An old name.
Pretty surprised that many brugs do tolerate temps in the 50's.

I have an Angel Trumpet in my master bath that got it's first bud about 3 days ago. I got this plant in a trade from Shellsort. She sent me 8 clippings and only 1 survived. So I anxious to see what color it is.

I love those plants so much but it's real hard for me to grow them here.

I gave all of mine away, Cindy. I stopped growing Daturas, unless they come up with quadruple purple or started to be perennials!!
They are so pretty though!

Hey Girls BJ and LK are on the way back to BJ's then unload BJ's truck but here is a pic of the 3 of us my Dh took here at my house they stopped to pay the water bill before goin home

Hey Sisters, we made it home, and so tired, but we had such fun today. We will all sleep like babies. My camera did not work, also when BJ gets hers downloaded, she will share also.

Cocoa Lulu won it and maybe just maybe here might be some cuttings that we got form maggi and ken that we cna do extra cuttings of as the ones I got are rather long so I knwo I can do more then one cutting ..but I don't think nay of them were double all singles :(

Oh good they made it home was waiting for one of them to post so I knew they made it okay

Oh how I wish I could have been there!!! Looks like everyone was enjoying themselves and eating very well!!!

Glad everyone has arrived back to the destinations safely. Linda Kay hope the foot was okay today. I, too, am glad to find out BJ isn't really that short or LK isn't that tall. Thought I might have to bring a ladder to hug LK's neck in May. Can you say relief?

Jaye, I listened a little to the game and turned it off. Tigers weren't eating to good from what I was hearing.

What is this about freezing weather? Yikes, think we will get some soon? Atleast cooler at night--love to sleep with window open when it is cold and temp turned really low.

Sistahs, I am "pooped" as usual after spending 3 hours with the dynamos!!! They both (GDs) were in rare form tonight and both me and Kim are exhausted. They made up for not having seen them in 2 weeks.

I give Debra about another week and she will be loaded with quilting magazines and books. Our Joanne's is having a 1/2 price sale on the quilting supplies and I replayed a lot of my squares that are minus a few corners from over the years of hard usage. Basically 2 for the price of 1 can't be beat as far as I am concerned unless they are giving them away.

Oh please, no early winter!! It's been raining and Kel can't proceed with closing up the deck. Looks like we might have to use his workshop again to overwinter the plants.
Yep Marion, these first year Tigers are ez meal for the Gators!! They'll have a tough road after this.. might have to do a gris gris dance before the games!
Wish we have a Joanne's close by! The quilt stores are killing me and the average cost for eg. Moda is around 11 per yard!

Cindy-I LOVE daturas!! The smell is wonderful!!

I hit the motherload yesterday!! I went to a friends house, Denstratt (Loretta) and she apparantly used to have several shops in craft malls and she gave me like 8 boxes of craft goodies!! It was like a wholesale Michaels!! I was in heaven!! I was on lunch, so I had to be quick, but I told her I'd be back in 3 weeks since she said she has a TON more!!! WEEEHAWW!! She said that someone told her I was crafty-no idea who that was but I want to give them a big ole kiss!! She is the sweetest lady anyway, and I really didn't go to get stuff from her, it was just a HUGE bonus!!

It looks like you all had sooooo much fun yesterday!! I am soooo excited for May!!!! Make sure you all are ready for meeee;)

Just saw LK off ... she's on her way home, so lets all keep her in our prayers that she has a safe trip... what a lovely lady she is.... and GREAT company.

my right foot is still bothering me a lil but hey it was worth it LOL

My tummy is fine today... actually slept good last night... and am busy getting all my new cuttings and plants taken care of this morning. It's probably gonna take ma all day ... I knew I came home with a lot... just didn't realize the largeness of it till we unloaded last night. Everyone was sooo generous.

Hope your foot feels better... gonna be a bummer for you if you can't get your plants taken care of because of a bum foot... huh?

it's better this morning but last night when I sat here and did up the web page it was that naggin ache that is like a pin in and out spasm.
I took all my B cuttings and made them into 4 of each cuttings and have them in water with root hormone for now but have to figure out where all the bulbs are going ...LOL..want to get stuff in around the rose garden to fill it in good but wtih no tiller it makes it hard LOL..may have to rent one form HD to do it .

I tried to tell everyone coming without much to trade not to worry there is always plenty to share ...how do ya think my place looks the way it does so far with only being here a year and kinda starting out all over again like new??
DDtex-David is always willing to share and his place is mostly shade so he is a good person to go to for shade plants
He is such a honey.

Tell us what the 3 of you got from the RU?? There must be plants that you don't have. Maggi and Ken are great brug growers, would love to meet them one day. When I have questions about brugs, I turn to Ken, he's so willing to share what he knows.
