Jaye, are you sure you have the most fabric? LOL I do have a lots but did manage to get rid of a lots when I moved. Funny things is, I have added back to the stash. It could be worse, I could be doing something else like............ Well not sure what.

ROFL yeah I probably would but it would be a well stocked one that carried everything needed instead of having one for glass one for ceramics one for sewing stuff ...LOL

Oh Jaye, not only did I go to Michaels today but I stopped by a quilting shop too!!! LOL Guess we can share the title on this one. I really didn't buy all that much just some pieces for backgound. Did more damage at Michael's !!!!

well of course it would have all the needs of home plus my own work area so I can make a mess and leave it to work on the next day too LOL

Fortunately Marion.. Michael's too far from the quilt shop. Kel's stomach comes first, so his pocket took a break!!
I got some 'exciting' black and white printed fabric. Didn't get all frustrated trying to coordinate fabric. Less headache.

If I were rich, I'd have someone to do my designs but that won't be fun, not making mistakes and telling yourself you're human after all!^_^

Yeah, well, watch out Jaye. Arkansas may have given Alabama and Texas over 100 points in the first two games, but they will beat LSU for sure! ROTFH (humiliated) Geesh - it's going to be a very long season for the Hogs.

Night everyone. The boys are coming back tomorrow to do more work so I've got to get some sleep. Need to get priorities straight tomorrow - there are a few jobs requiring the two of them so need to take advantage of them both being here.

Truthfully, am ready to stay inside and sew a while but better keep up the momentum outside.

Need some ideas, sistahs. One of the trees that came down during Ike was a poplar or cottonwood. It has beautiful smooth white bark. The boys collected some of the larger limbs for me today. What can I do with them? I'm thinking about using one of the larger ones as a post for a birdhouse. Maybe using smaller pieces as a bird feeder - drilling large holes in it and stuffing with peanut butter this winter. Am going back tomorrow for some smaller pieces - would make good staffs for the Victorian Santas. What other crafty things could be done with them?

ohh grrrrrr girls sorry about this but I need to vent ...here I am sitting here in the kitchen play mahjongg..Dh has gone to bed but Step son is in his room and I know he is drinking as you never hear him loud other wise..he has been on the phone several times and I could hear him out here and mind you he has his door closed and I can tell ya just by the sound of him he has the head phones on the cd player and that is what he is singing too.
He has been out several times just for ice
I am done ...I will not do anythign else to help him ...he can make his own phone calls cause IF I were to make them I would flat out tell them he can not have just one or two drinks he has to get drunk and that is putting it mild the words I would normally use are not proper to say here.

I'm afraid of what is going to happen when we go to Houston the weekend of the 1st for a wedding and he is here at home....last time we went away for more then a day he lost his job ...ggggggggggggggggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

first person in in the morning grab the rolls and put them in the oven for a few min to reheat them please

Phyllis-it sounds like time for real tough love-you had set up the stipulation that no more drinking in your house right?? So I think you are going to have to leave him to his own devices-I know that sounds cruel, but he is an adult and needs to learn what that means which is taking responsibilty for your actions and having accountability for the consiquences. My mom only bailed me out once after I was 18-allowed me to move home for 3 mos....there was a time frame set and a goal and I knew that coming into it. Does he go to AA?? Has he been in rehab?? You can not help him control this-he has to do it of his won volition.

Oh my, I would also be broke from craft stores if I let myself-I see all kinds of stuff I want and classes I would love to take, but the money tree out back is not putting on new growth, so I won't be doing all that any time soon;)

Stacy no he does not go to AA or anything several years ago he was suppose to go to out patient rehab back in Illinois the step father pulled strings to get him in but he only went to one or two meetings then never went again.
sucks darn too before I went to bed last night he came out and asked if we had nay aa batteries ...meaning the ones in the cd player ran out and I said not that I knew of knowing there were 4 in the digital camera but not gonna give those to him.
He could go buy an ac adapter to use with it then there would be no need for batteries and besides I didn't want to listen to him singing soo off key and loud while I tried to sleep.

Phyl;is-you asked for feedback, so those were just my 2 cents is all:)

oh no problem Stacy I know he has to do it all by himself we can't , but by DH not enforcing the house policy makes it real easy to break it ...was just venting as it really ticks me off that he has no respect for his dad
