Loved It. Took after her grandma. (((((Proud)))) I am gonna have to find a picture of me when I was two. We lived in Salt Lake City and we went up to one of my daddy's buddies ranch. I ran right at some horses and funny, I latched on to its back leg and he never kicked. He just raised his leg like I was on a ride. I was hooked from then. Don't have any horses now. I had one when I was a teenager. His name was Skipper. A 3-gaited American Saddlebred and Quarterhorse. Ahhhh, those were the days, my friends.

MIRE! AND STARTED DROWNING,
BUT THE FRIEND SAVED! HIM.

AFTER HE RECOVERED FROM
THE NEAR DROWNING,
HE WROTE ON A STONE:

"TODAY MY BEST FRIEND
SAVED MY LIFE"

THE FRIEND WHO HAD SLAPPED
AND SAVED HIS BEST FRIEND
ASKED HIM, "AFTER I HURT YOU,
YOU WROTE IN THE SAND AND NOW,!
YOU WRITE ON A STONE, WHY?"

THE FRIEND REPLIED
"WHEN SOMEONE HURTS US
WE SHOULD WRITE IT DOWN
IN SAND, WHERE WINDS OF
FORGIVENESS CAN ERASE IT AWAY.
BUT, WHEN SOMEONE DOES
SOMETHING GOOD FOR US,

Sandra, tomorrow I will have to post photos of my (take a deep breath) daughter's fiance's brother's daughter. Whew! Her name is Hannah and will be 2 yrs in January. She has almost no hair. She's a doll. Here's one from a distance. Will post a close up later.

had a field trip today so didn't come home then daughter called and said she has to be in Arlington Saturday for the schooling she has to take for the new job so tonight was the best night to go out for DH's BD dinner so came home changed and left again to eat....texas roadhouse for supper

Talked to Ms. V this morning and they were waiting on one more test result to come back on her mom...then depending on that would say if mom stayed and had surgery or not
as I was pulling into the bus lot to park my cell rang and it was Ms. V saying your getting ready to parain't ya...I said wher eare ya?
she laughed and said they were on the way home. mom got discharged today but it took all afternoon to get out of thee as the nurse didn't come in with papers like she was suppose to ...but ms. v got them straight and got her out of there.
she has been having mini strokes and the doc put her on a blood thinner I think she said it was so I'll have more info tomorrow as Ms. V will be back to work

Good news Phyllis... Now, if she'll just stay on the meds, she should be fine.

My boys were all born with so much hair, I could practically put it up in rollers... then, my nieces come along and we thought they'd never get any hair... funny, isn't it?

OMG-took me 45 mins to catch up this am!!LOL

Yesterday was DH Bday, so I just spent time with him, we watched football, then golf, then napped, ate dinner-subs from a local place that he loves, but it is pricey so we don't often eat there-$28 or 2 large subs!! I still got 1/2 of mine in the fridge for lunch tomorrow:) He was greatly surprised by his gifts and had a good Bday overall-was disappointed that neither of our moms called him and they ALWAYS do...It took me almost 2 hrs to get home from work-I was looking for a Marie Callenders coconut cream pie and for some odd reason the stores I was going to didn't have that particular one!! Then the little turd never did eat any of it!!LOL I guarantee on Sunday he will eat like 1/2 of it in 1 sitting!! he says he is ancient at 35-if he starts having his mid life crisis already, we will have a problem..

So...yesterday at work the one girl here told me that for my Bday present because one of them is into palm reading that they wanted to take me to do that-Have I ever said I was into anything like that?? I just said OH...then she actually asked me what I wanted to do and I said that I had mentioned several times how much I wanted to go to the paint your own pottery place across the street...I guess we'll see-I know it should be the thought, but I guess I kinda thought that there wasn't any thought behind it...does that make any sense?? I am not into palm reading and stuff-I think it is malarky...

I think the one meant well, I guess I was just a little iritated that people that work with me every day and know what I am into were kinda like not paying attenetion-I don't know-I guess that I just always try to pay attention to what others like and desire that I expect that everyone does it and alas, not so so much....maybe I am PMSing-I don't know...

Tinky, you don't know what color purkle is? Oh my, I can't believe that!! What does it sound like? Okay say it like a 3 year old would say it--figured it out? How funny, your DH likes coconut cream pies? So does my son and we used to get the fresh coconuts, drain the juice for the pie filling, then toast the insides before making him a pie. The best part, he loved to use the cleaned shells for musical instruments. Hummm, wonder if granddaughters need some. Oh my but pay backs can be fun!!!!

Well, from what I can tell about what smaples eat, If you leave a trail of truffles to lure them into the house, they'll eat all the dust you have. You'll never have to sweep or dust again if you get a smaple in the house... the one I got a glimpse of yesterday was inside the house... he flitted around so fast, I couldn't get a good look at him... but when he disappeared, my house was soooo clean. He must have eaten the dust, because I can't find a pile where he left it anywhere. Now, that was just the purkle kind, other colors may not do that... Janice says there's a lot of different colors of smaples.

Now, I need another cup of coffee.

I need me like 10 smaples then-cuz I am lazy and HATE cleaning!!LOL Would rather garden of craft!!LOL

Just one could clean the whole house... I want him to come back... wonder who left a trail of truffles to get him to leave me? One of you must have lured my smaple away.

Good morning Ladies. My Son has a computer, I am stealing for a few minutes, so thought I would say hello. I am on the lookout for smaples over here, but no luck yet.
I may be stuck here in San Antonio for the weekend. My Doctors secretary just called to say the Dr is in the hospital. He is diabetic, has high blood pressure, and has chest pains, so she is trying to call him to see if she can take out my stitches. If she can't do it, I have to wait till Monday!!!
Oh well. Be good, and I will check in later.

Well, I am sad to report my purkle smaple didn't clean my house, nor pick up any more downed limbs, or mow the grass patch in the backyard. Humm, wonder just what he was doing here then? Maybe seeing how many smaples buddies he would need to get the horrendous job done here!! Maybe today.

Tink, I agree I hate housework. I think we should all have maids to do the dirty work so we can be ladies of leisure and do the fun things like gardening and crafts.

haven't seen any smaples here but then I just got back home after my route every other friday I clean an apt for a girl that works with my daughter and didn't see any at her place either LOL

not much going on here today other then maybe finishing up a couple glass pieces I started last Sunday LOL and I guess we are suppose to go eat tonight for DH's birthday with his son that lives here but not sure on that one
