Oh yes!! I just found out my granddaughter fell off the monkey bars at school and broke her arm. So no soccer games for her. She's a tough one, she did it yesterday, but when she got up this morning she told her that her arm hurt. It was swollen, took her to hospital and found it broke.

O.k. I'm going to be lazy tonight and make bread in the machine, except I think I sent my recipes home with my mom in the other machine I gave her so.....

Does anyone have a garlic bread recipe or plain white?

How awful Cindy. I bet that is hard missing her soccor game. Hope she does will with the cast--will be getting one won't see?

Nope not here! No bread machine either. Bought a loaf of rosemary and kosher salt at Fresh Market the other day and that is what we are having toasted with a salad. Of course, the salad has everything including the kitchen sink.

They already put it on. But I thought they waited for swelling to go down? And it's probably bight Pink lol I haven't gotten her school picture yet.

Poor baby... my neice broke her arm once when she was little, and they didn't know it was broke for a few days either... just thought she sprained it or something...
I do hope she can play soccer again really soon... poor baby.

Oh that sounds good. I get tired of having meat and potatoes all the time we are having spaghetti and salad and fresh baked bread if I can find a recipe.

My legs are itching, so I'm going to take a shower... then find me something to eat...

When my daughter broke her's they had to wait until the swelling went down. We just found out today that when my Mom fell back during the summer she broke 6 ribs!!! She keep hurting and had an odd feeling place on her back so doctor insisted on a CAT and then PET scan. Cat showed the ribs broken but healing and calcified and the PET was because there were spots in her lungs. Thank goodness, they turned out to be scare tissue from her long history of bronchitis and asthma. That has been eating at me for about 2 weeks now.

All is well so I can sigh a huge sigh of relief!!! Might be able to sleep so much better tonight.

medium loaf White Bread

3/4 c. milk or water
1 1/2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 1/2 tbsp honey

1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/4 c. bread flour
1 1/2 tsp. yeast


garlic bread - cut thin loaf lengthwise, or thick loaf into slices. dip into a mi of virgin olive oil, a touch of cream, and mashed garlic or bottled minced garlic. sprinkle with parmasan cheese.

Hi Sistahs! Thanks for all the compliments. You know I am sitting here just sucking them all up. LOL! Great looking grandson, Cindy. Sorry about the broken bones...been there myself, Marion. A few years ago I tripped on some broken asphalt on MEMORIAL WEEKEND. OUCH! The emergency room did a temporary thing and for three days I laid in bed screaming in pain. Then, they stuck my fingers in that torture machine and the Doc cracked it back into place. Take my word, you don't want to be breaking anything.

I have to ask... sorry... Do you keep her hair short? Or is she just late growing it.

My neice was late growing hair... until she was 2 1/2 she only had a little fuzz over her ears and on the back of her head... like a little old man. By the time she was 4 we could almost run a brush through her hair... we were afraid she wouldn't have any by kindergarten... but then it started growing fast, and she ended up with the most beautiful head of naturally wavy hair you'd ever seen.

Jaye, Thank you! She thinks she is America's Next Top Model. LOL. And, when I say HAM, she really truly Hams it up. But her name is Amiyah. That is AM-I-Yah. My mother's name is her middle name and Chelsea didn't think Mia Margaret sounded good, so her name is Amiyah Margaret.

So sorry I had her name wrong.. so for pronounciation's sake it's Am i yah..

Aw Thank you. And, not a problem. What makes me kinda mad is when people call her a "he" when she clearly is a she with short hair. I have bought every Pink, Yellow, Purple, Fushia, Mint, etc. outfits and she still gets called a he. But her hair is coming in. Funny little wisps and all, and when it is real humid, it is long enought to curl up in the back that is so cute.

How could anyone mistake that angel face for a HE... sheesh.

Now how could those people mistook this beautiful girl for a he.
I got to tell you Sandra, if we're living close to you, Amiyah will have another Aunt.. or great aunt!
