Hi Hotties. Been itchin to get on all day but Amiyah was up too EARLY. Poppa is a school bus driver now and I get to entertain the little tooter all by myself these days. I did manage to make a beef and veggie soup so all was not lost.

Welcome to all the newbies. Will be back later to chat. But watch out, Amiyah will be gone tomorrow afternoon until Sunday so you might not get rid of me. LOL Actually that depends on the weather. Today is raining and 66 degrees. Tomorrow, however is expected to be a high of 82 and sunny. Woo hoo!
Sandra, how did little Amiyah, heal after all those sores? I hope she is doing much better. Have you heard from the Judge yet?

Hi Linda Kay. Amiyah still has traces of the blisters but I think the virus is gone. Haven't heard from the Judge, yet. And, yes my eye is purple. The batteries are charging and the light isn't so good today but maybe later I can take a pic. One eye looks like Cleopatra in Purple and this morning it kinda came down and under my eye and the purple is fading. LOL. Attack baby did it by accident. LOL

Phillis I am very successfull at growing mandevillas I have four different types, yellow, red, white and pink. If you would like I can try rooting some for you this winter. I bring mine all in and take them out in the Spring.

Have been waiting to call her, I will probably after 4. I hope the new medicine she is taking will kick in. She wants to go home!
Oh how pretty. I have mine in a pot, but with a tomato cage for her to climb on. It works pretty good.
I found mine at home depot earlier this year, and so far it is doing well. I will have to look for more colors next year.

I'm just starting my collection of Tropicals....
I have a Bougainvilla that i'm trying to root while it's still attached to the plant..(NOID but I think it's RED)
Gonna see if I have better luck that way...That way I won't lose anything if it doesn't work...
My DD took all my plants up to her house in Feb when they moved in to their new house..
And the Other one didn't make it and this one just about kicked the bucket too
So I told her too cut it all back to the roots..
And when I picked it up in April it looked pitiful...
But she came back growing better then ever...So there's 4 vines growing out of the base and I covered the whole base with soil to see if each vine will root itself...
She's just now starting to get her thorns back and maybe i'll get some blooms on her yet...LOL
Hey everyone.....Lazy afternoon here, I just woke up from a nap. Had the foresight though to put a roast beef and taters in the crock pot. What a heavenly smell to wake up to!

Spoke to Donna a litte while ago, she was breathing a little better. I hope she continues that prgress. Will get back to her later on tonight if anyone wants to send good wishes. We made her day yesterday, all of us!

Trying to root them 2 different ways...we'll see...
I sent some cuttings to another DG member, I wonder how she is doing with it. I will cut mine before bringing her in and try to root as well.
Hey Hotties!!! Hanna knocked these tops of so I stuck them in a pot,one kept some leaves...the other is making buds I wonder if I can keep them blooming this winter : )

Just got back from taking Momma to the DR. She has to have surgery cause both urethra tubes are obstructed!! I'll know more next week, but we go to the Dr for the blood work/ex rays to make sure she is ok... I sure hate this for her, but hopefully this will help her!!

I have one too still little four inch pot but growing! Clemen my white mandevilla is getting ready to bloom. Bought it as a 3inch pot.

ok hotties, i'm following directions that i have picked up here. i took a few drops of peroxide and put them in a quart of water. added four different breeds of brug seeds. gonna try to peel them at 4pm my time tomarrow.

EEK Wolf! Why would you mix up good crosses like the first 2? You may get some decent doubles with color out of them. No big deal if you are growing for fun but it is always nice to know what cross you have when showing them off lol!
