Goldthwaite, TX(Zone 8a)

DD, way back somewhere in the 2nd trade thread, I had asked you for elephant ear 'Illustris' and others and 'Hot Lips' salvia. I may have just assumed that you were bringing those for me. I have you down for a variety of daylilies and some 'Ice Follies' daffodils.

To edit your tradelist that Phyllis has linked to at the top of this thread, click first on the link by your name, then click on " In reply to: ET Fall RU 10-11-08 Trade List," and finally click on "edit' which is at the bottom of the print in the left column.

Jacksonville, TX(Zone 8a)

The original did not have the edit feature so added your wants to my new list. Got you guys down for things.
DD

Palestine, TX(Zone 8b)

Can you just bring seeds and bulbs when you come and share or exchange? I have some just purchased Desert Rose seeds, assorted varieties. Already have three germinated. I also have Golden Egg Tree seed from my own plant. Already have one germinated. Also have some purple columbine seeds. I can bring a few Pretty Angel Pink dwarf canna. I also have cannas that have green/burgundy veined leaves with coral colored flowers. They reach about 6ft or better. I can't kill the cannas. They multiply faster than rabbits.

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

Yes, they do multiply fast... I have to thin mine out A LOT about every 3 years.

BUT, if I could get just a start of your Pretty Angel Pink dwarf canna, I'd appreciate it... I might have something you want to trade for, but you'll have to look at my have list. Still landscaping, so I don't have much to pick from just yet.

Goldthwaite, TX(Zone 8a)

Texasgrower, I would like to trade for a rhizome of your 'Angel Pink' canna too. Please check my trade list and see what I can bring for you.
Thanks,
Patricia

Gilmer, TX(Zone 8a)

Bj, if you have another of the red canna, could I please have one.? Been looking for red one. And David, if I can have a turks cap, I promise to leave you alone and not take all your plants. WEll, maybe I'll have to take a few.

I'm updating my list and have a lot of stuff I'm just bringing , so maybe if you don't see anything on the list, I'll have something there you want. I know I'll still be finding stuff as we drive out of the driveway, so no time to list. Pam will be yelling "Get in the car" and I'll be yelling," Wait, just one more plant to dig"

Gilmer, TX(Zone 8a)

Forgot, Cando, can I please have a lemon mint if you have any left.

I have several rooted Brazilian Lady Angel Wing Begonias, and also a green leaf that has a triple bloom, deep pink, light pink and white.

Texasgrower, please please if you have any left may I have some of your canna, any of them are great. I'm a canna fanatic now. The small one sounds really pretty.

(Phyllis) Flint,, TX(Zone 7b)

Everyone attending please pop into the food thread and post how many are coming wtih you so we an make sure we have enough food planned for.

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

Loraine, Got you down for red giant cannas...

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

Phyllis, did you want me to save you some Cannas, or zinnia seeds?

(Phyllis) Flint,, TX(Zone 7b)

zinnia seeds if you have enough to share please and thank you

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

OH BOY... do I ever have enough !!! sheesh.

Ozone, AR(Zone 6a)

Mibus2 Could you add my post to the above list, it's toward the bottom of trade list#2 and i updated it. I'd appreciate it. I really need to spend a day or two learning to link and all the other goodies on DG, but keep getting side tracked on forums and find myself out of time to learn stuff. I'm also the A#1 world champion procrastenator LOL
Will add more things as i dig them up.
Mibus2 you're a special person to take on all this. You've my appreciation.
Vickie

(Becky) Colmesneil, TX(Zone 8b)

Vickie... you can't have that title.. I have owned it for years...LOLOLOL

I agree.. Phyllis you are great!! TY ^_^

Palestine, TX(Zone 8b)

BJ, are your zinnias the short ones? If so I'd apprecite a few. I will bring a Pretty Angel Pink for you, Lorraine R and Patrob.
Patrob, I would like to try your sage salvia and hummingbird sage. Lorraine R, I will also bring the big red veined leaf, coral flower canna. I also have red ones and yellow/orange cannas. I'm not sure which is which of the red and yellow so I just plant them and am pleasently surprised by what comes up. I would like to exchange for wild hibiscus and jasmine if you have them. We moved here from Florida three years ago after a messy run in with hurricane Charlie and I miss my hibiscus. We have an acre to landscape and I'm doing my best to set up little vinettes throughout the yard. Some shade, some sun. A little bit of something for every plant.

I might have some white Angel Trumpet if the pods develop by the time the RU gets here.

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

Nope, sorry,,, they're the giganteous big zinnias. I'm looking for some short ones too.

I'm landscaping a little over an acre too, TX grower... taking it a bite at a time, and eventually, it'll all get done. I'd hire somebody, but then I'd be handing over the only joy I have in life... and I can't do that, ya know.

Palestine, TX(Zone 8b)

BJ,Yep I know. I've been working on my for three years. I absolutley love it. Only problem is I'm the only one with the passion. I broke my ankle in the yard in July and couldn't get out to my plants for two weeks, right in the middle of the drought and hot temps. I had a hard time getting folks to water my plants. They did suffer, but I didn't lose a one. So if one goes down, there is that element to gardening one must consider. I think it's worth the risk.

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

I'm the only one here with the "passion" too... DH's passion is the wood working part of our remodeling... we can't hire any of our building done either, that's his only joy in life.
