Josephine, Arlington, TX(Zone 8a)

O.K. the Lovely lady in the picture is Anna, Bananna18 and the guy in the back is Mitch, MitchF.
The picture was taken during the door prizes, lot of fun.
Josephine.

Granbury, TX(Zone 8a)

Hello Josephine, I would never have guessed, lol. Thanks for sharing. I have a trade going with Bananna18 so atleast now I will recognize her, maybe, lol. Have a great nite. Tr

Colleyville, TX(Zone 8a)

How about if I wear the same color, carry the garden shears and have Mitch follow me around?

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

LOL!! Mitch looks like he is thinking ...(what can I trade Anna for those shears?).
Well I plan on meeting everyone at least once when I sign you up and give you a name tag! See you at that table.

Granbury, TX(Zone 8a)

Rofl, well if you carry the shears come on by cause I am sure I will have some stuff that needs trimming, lol. I will certainly be looking for the name tag table. I have such a short memory these days I will be glad to see one on everyone there. Looking forward to meeting a bunch of daves junkies.

Southlake, TX(Zone 8a)

goodness, I just can't wait!

Waxahachie, TX(Zone 8a)

It's gonna be a goodern! The shame of it is I won't have as much time as I'd like to visit with everyone 'cause my friend is getting married that day at 6:00pm and I'm the best man. I'll probably show up at bout 10am to help set up and visit with other early birds. I hope others will be there....

Granbury, TX(Zone 8a)

Hello Broncbuster, I am thinking I will try to be there by about 10 myself cause I am going to come home fairly early as I will have chores to do in the nursery and plants to take care of. I only live about an hour away but it is already getting dark so darned early. I am having winter withdrawls already. The new plants will give me a boost. I am looking forward to that and meeting so many new people. See you there! tr

(Becky) Colmesneil, TX(Zone 8b)

Hello everyone... since I'll be in a motel.. hopefully I can get out there early too!! Looking forward to seeing the ones I know, and meeting the ones I don't!!
Becky

Waxahachie, TX(Zone 8a)

Josephine, Arlington, TX(Zone 8a)

Great Becky, maybe you can be one of our greeters, and help people to their designated area.

North Richland Hills, TX(Zone 8a)

In case any of you missed it, check out & reply to the Attendance & Food thread so Josephine can keep track of who's coming & what they're bringing...

(Becky) Colmesneil, TX(Zone 8b)

Josephine.. my cousin Ethel and I would be glad to!!

Josephine, Arlington, TX(Zone 8a)

O.K., we will give you instructions when you get there. Looking forward to seeing you again and meeting your cousin Ethel.

(Becky) Colmesneil, TX(Zone 8b)

Good deal Josephine.. this "new blood" is getting excited to see the ones I know and meet the ones I haven't met!!

Granbury, TX(Zone 8a)

Thanks for posting cause I missed it altogether, lol. Been over there and posted. Tr

Pbtx, I noticed one small off-shoot on my cutleaf rudbeckia. Do you still need one of these?

Garland, TX(Zone 8a)

Yes, please! Thanks so much for remembering. :)

Cocoa, are you still planning to be at the hosta meeting tomorrow at NHG? If you are, I may bring your hypericum with me. I just realized that room is going to be tight going to the RU.

Patricia, I may bring some of your things too. Please let me know if you're not going to be able to attend.

I can't make it to NHG, I have last minute company coming over. If your short on room for the RU just hold mine back and I can come over and get them later...you do have brownies made all the time, right? LOL

Garland, TX(Zone 8a)

Bwahahaha! Yes, for you, I'll keep brownies around any time. Just let me know when!

I just dug your St John's a couple of days ago, and it's really pouting. It will be fine in a few days, but I was thinking I didn't really want to give it to you looking like that! I'm also collecting some coneflower seeds for you, so I'll just hang on to all of it.

Goldthwaite, TX(Zone 8a)

Anna, I have white mistflowers for you after all! Not just rooted cuttings, but plants. They were right under my nose on the west side of the house, a somewhat neglected area that has some wildflowers and weeds along with some crinums. (Our lot is 1.5 acres that was pasture just a few years ago, and there are quite a few neglected areas.) There are several mistflowers blooming now. They are young, so they are not as full as the ones in PlantFiles, but they are definitely the right plant: leaves match, flowers match. I had no idea they grew here on their own.

Thanks Pbtx, I think I'm going to be in Dallas the 8th near you. I'll D-mail when the time gets closer. How did the hosta meeting go? No way you went to NHG and came home empty handed, what did you get?

Pat, did you kill off your excess applemint? I think I've found a spot I can let it 'go to town', if you have some more :0)

Kim, my BF Daisies have rooted, so I'm bring you some extras.

Colleyville, TX(Zone 8a)

patrob, glad to hear you found some mist flower. That must have been a nice surprise during the weeding task. Looking forward to the big day!

Seguin, TX(Zone 8b)

cocoa....that's great! I just discovered the one I had didn't make it, it got choked out by my purple lantana. And I can bring some apple mint too if you really want it.

:) Kim

Thanks Kims, I'll take some apple mint. I'm tired of weeding under the fig trees and hope it will choke out some weeds :0)

Bronc, I've been going over the past bloom threads (looking for things I need next year)lol. Would you look and see if you have any OxEye Daisies seeds for me, please?

Goldthwaite, TX(Zone 8a)

Lynea, I have not yet killed the apple mint if such a thing is even possible! I have been lifting it up and digging short, rooted plants from underneath. I have not worked my way back to the rock border of the bed it is in yet. I am still digging out in the yard. lol It may have eaten the rocks. I'm bringing several extra pots, so you can have all the apple mint you want! Do you prefer to receive the plants I am giving you at Tyler or Arlington? It makes me no difference at all.

Seguin, TX(Zone 8b)

Ok....I've been moving some things around in the yard and dug up a big white shrimp plant. I think that is what it is, it has not bloomed for me in three years and has severely outgrown its place. If someone wants to claim it please let me know so I don't throw it out.

Kim

Goldthwaite, TX(Zone 8a)

I'd love to have the shrimp plant, Kim!

Seguin, TX(Zone 8b)

Great Pat...it's yours. It is big, I'll probably trim it down so I can get it up there ok. I sure hope it blooms for you!

:) Kim

Goldthwaite, TX(Zone 8a)

Thank you, Kim. I'm sure trimming will be good for it.

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Kim, will you try rooting some of the trimmings on the white shrimp plant if I am not speaking too late. I have a few shrimp plants but not white, I just love the way they bloom and last forever.

Seguin, TX(Zone 8b)

Sure will Sheila! I thought about trying it in another spot, but I just don't have the room! LOL..

Granbury, TX(Zone 8a)

I have a few packs of seed for the blue shrimp plant if anyone wants me to bring them. Tanarae

Colleyville, TX(Zone 8a)

Uh oh BlueEyes. You know I am a maniac for white. If it is not too late, will you root one for me?
Thanks,Anna
