Laura got me on....don't know how she found it....they are out celebrating their Anniversary tonight.....I have the DGD for the night....

Glad to know it was DG and not my computer that was causing my problems earlier!

DH will be home in an hour so guess I should decide what I am going to feed him when he gets here....

and I have to call all the ladies in moms S&B group to let them know we are having an 80th Birthday reception for her Sunday afternoon!!! Finally got the call from my DB in Juneau...they will be here on Wednesday and will be making all the arrangements which is good since I don't get back until after midnight on Friday......don't know if I am going to survive this week or not!

Mom and I live in opposite sides of a duplex.....we will do all the entertaining at mom's and the "getting away" on my side......we are too untidy over here to suit my mom....not to mention dog, cat and bird in residence. I have the dish collection for large groups and love entertaining. My brother is a fantastic cook and is used to cooking for anywhere from 4 at home, to around 100 people or more at their Church functions. He is bringing Salmon, Halibut, Shrimp and King Crab with him and will probably pick up case of Chardonnay so we should have a very good time!

What time should I be there, Trisha?

He said 2 to 5 on Sunday, come on up any time!!!

We lived in Alaska when I was a kid, My dad decided to send his friend back in Oklahoma a whole King Crab as a special gift! When asked how he liked it he said it had smelled "fishy" and he threw it out !!!!! Don't think Dad ever sent him anything like that again!!

Heck, I have to fly there,,,, I ain't bringing anything... sound's like enough food for an army anyway.

Ohh Laura and I fell in love with the Helmet Critters!!!!!!!! Just trying to get the DH to come up with helmets......may just have to go to Good Will and get some!!

Well dear Sistahs, whatever was going on with our computers today has had me off most of the afternoon. Just got back online a little while ago. I thought it was our internet service but I could get other connections. Missed everyone of you but did get some things done.

Trisha, ex once had to work somewhere in Alaska. Coming from the bayous, he's used to ordering a dozen boiled crabs at a time, in any Cajun restaurant. Well, he got the shock of his life when he ordered a dozen of those King Crabs.
No telling what the bill was, but he had a good laugh about it!

What did you cook for supper? We had a big spinach & mixed greens salad with southwestern chicken strips. Larry fished out his chicken from the bowl. He didn't like it spicy. So I ate it all. I'm full as a tick.

Don wasn't home so I just baked me a potato in the micro... had crackers with it..
Now, isn't that soooo exciting? Darn, I sound like a dull person.

Very exciting if you had loaded it. Cheese, sour cream, chives, bacon bits, OH MY.

Didn't have any bacon, and I don't like chives... but I did pile on the sour cream, butter, and cheese... it was pretty good.

Oh, I forget the butter. How could have done that? Got to have butter, drownin' in it.

Oh, it was piled on alright... and I butter my crackers too... and then I wonder why I gain weight...

I smell baked potato!! Oh my.. woke me up quick!!
Butter, lots of it.... the real kind.. just don't tell the doctor!

What could be more perfect than a russet potato, baked fluffy, drown in butter..
