thanks for seeing me thru the learning curve Pixie

Deb, here's your blueberry. be careful what you wish for LOL. My total harvest this year. I planted 2 each of 3 varieties of blueberry. So it will be at least a year or two before I have any real berries to speak of.

Welcome!

Allison your mum's, asters, toad L. & coleus are beautiful! Love the decorations too! DH & I use to decorate when we were younger ..actually right up until his injury we did. Do you and Randy dress up too? I do almost every year for the Grandchildren but not the scary stuff anymore. I keep it less gory due to the DGC but this is Brian & I a few years ago. It's hard to believe he's blonde!!

JoAnn, I love your birches. they are a great subject.
Karen, really like your drawing. So different from what I do.
Victor, loving your friends.
I'm enjoying the pics of other folks mums. I don't have any and I look at my front yard...it's in desperate need of fall color.
pix, I love that shot. If we ever get to meet Brian we sure won't recognize him from that LOL

Here's a watercolor I did in a fellow student's back yard when I was taking way too many art classes in college for a computer science major

there are so many talented artists here. it doesn't surprise me that artists love gardening, though.

Ohhh Jan I LOVE that Cinderella!

Thomaston, CT

You could certainly do a series of your rose photos in watercolor---your other pictures are lovely---so are the roses! Allison, loved all the coleus---it is so varied, & still looks great this time of year. Jo Ann, your flowers still look good--like the coppery mums--Victor--cutie frog in the yard---much nicer than my mutant toad. Bill, I envy the sunflowers--mine dried up a month ago. Here is nicotiana Tinkerbell---once you plant it, you can't get rid of it!

I'm impressed with anyone with artistic talents, my talent is limited to stick figures and I could probably handle a color by number. :)

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

robin you can thank the squirrels - they ate the first batch i planted - these are from the second batch protected by a little bottle of coyote urine.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

Pixie I TRY to get him to dress up every year.... and every year he doesn't want to.... going to try again this year

:)

Jan, congrats on your blueberry! You certainly made me laugh, but sorry that was your entire harvest :(
Great paintings too.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Jan sorry about the blueberry crop or lack there of. However, that 'Wild Irish Rose ' is stunning, and the rest are beautiful.

Good luck Allison!!

Beautiful roses, Jan. The painting is very nice. I also like the minimalist blueberry piece! Here is a torenia from the back.
