Morning all. I need to go make my coffee. I can't believe all those birds went missing. It's a serious crime. When you think of the potential value of those birds... Plus, it had to include some form of break-and-enter, therefore it is robbery, not just theft. So it's a more serious level of crime. Plus we've got trespass, possible animal endangerment, the list goes on!
Plus, my blue frizzle was in there! Waaaahhhhhhhh!!!!!
I hope TF can figure out the mystery. Have you called the cops? Looked for footprints? Anything broken (fence, locks, etc?)

okie dokie, I may have 1 or 2 but only 2 months old so gotta wait untill they get a little older to sex them. I may try to see if I can locate a BR hen that is older. I am thinking I will have a bator in a couple weeks. And then if I do get her, what kind of offspring are we going for, the sex linked blue egger?

Oh Harmony, you make me laugh so much! A celebrity....I swear I am the only one without a blog these days, so I feel like it is time I had one. Plus, it is easier for me to keep up with friends back home in Canada without writing the same email 10 times. So, that is why I did it. LOL...celebrity....ROTFL....

LOL Dusty - just rolling around in my pj's now! Tee hee! Opal had carrots and cucumbers today and she was quite pleased. Sat on my lap and did some snuggle-ups, and got some ear rubs. I give her tons of kisses on her little nose. She's so soft and huggable. When I stop giving her head rubs, she gently pushes her head under my hand again. Insistent, but gentle!
Shhhhh....she's sleeping now!

gee, Tia, how weird is that? my DH had a white/spalsh crested pair, named Sid and Nancy... but Sid is antisocial, so roosts alone. Nancy hung out with other hens...

as a matter a fact she did. Here is a picture of Jr. I have not decided on a name for him yet. Going to build him a nice haven today, I just hate to have him all cooped up like he is right now but CF told me to keep him separate for a while. And he seems meaner than a snake so he will never mingle with the rest of the flock. When I am ready to breed him, I will toss her in there and let him do his business then pull her out. I will be saving some eggs for you grow.

Dusty - I never heard of the foot handling thing but guessing it is to make her comfortable for when hoof trimming needs to be done?
