Root beer barrels are/were my favorite. I have not seen them in years, and now we are telling out ages! LOL (only 53), and you could get them for a penny!!!
What can you now for a penny? No buble gum, no sweet-tarts. Oh I also used to like those flavored wafer candies....
And that is when the butcher would give you the bones for soup!!! Try getting free soup bones today!

So do I Deborah. My, but you are all just babes!! Found the rootbeer barrels recently. DD had an order for a birthday cake that resembled the Black Pearl from Pirates series. Used the rootbeer barrels as part of the decorations.

Linda Kay how about brickbats? Still can find those for a penny in an antique store in Havana. Quaint little store and so much fun to "plunder" through.

Yep, took me to the reply page also. Hey, I saw the Root Beer Barrels about two years ago and then had to go in search of them. They are good!!! I have been seeing them lately at The Dollar General Store in case any of you have those stores in your area.

Hi guys here she is. I just love this kid. I wanted you to see the little angel, she is a good baby, never hear her in the night. Mom wishes she could say the same I bet. Sal stays up with Baily if she wants to be awake, he takes her from Alysha who nurses her to sleep and he will sit up so she can sleep.

Oh how precious! She is definately an Angel!

Oh how beautiful. Aren't they fun!!!! I, too, wish they stayed smaller longer. I can't believe my first one is going to be 6 this year. Where did the time go.

Awwww........how sweet. Dawn, they become more and more fun with each passing day. Emily is 15 months now and a real rascal. Her face is so expressive that you can sort of tell what she is thinking.

I love the name Baily also. Welcome to the grandma club.

I can't believe I am a grandma, that is what old women are, not me. lol soon to be again too.

I told the kids since I did not have much money this year and I would have to be shopping for gifts now if I were not shopping for baby gifts and throwing baby showers, so I just said, I am not buying presents this year for the first time ever. I just don't think the stress over something I can do nothing about is good, so we will do dinner and hang out still probably, but that is it. What do you think? I hope I won't get depressed about it, but I feel relived at the moment.
