70 degrees and still gentle rain coming down here. I don't think the humidity has hit us yet. It is breezy and lots of fall leaves are all over the wet ground. We got a lot of rain in the pre-dawn hours here - ponding in the back yard.

Thomaston, CT

Spent the very humid & hot afternoon at the car show that closes our town center down every year---sold popcorn & lemonade for Alex's Lemonade Stand--don't know our final tally, but we sold a lot of lemonade for a good cause. Unfortunately our stand was downwind from the Scouts BBQ grill, and across the road from the DJ--came home smoked & deaf!

JoAnn, think long-term. I know it's hard to stay-put, but better down the road. Sorry, bout the infection. Hugs,
Jan

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

JoAnn - heal soon!! Take pics and play on DG!
DH just finished picking up 3 big garbage cans full of branches and twigs, I'll probably go out in a while and pick up the rest of the little twigs and leaves. Right now I'm cooking pots of soup, chili and meatballs.

But there is always tomorrow.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

That's cooking for chilly weather, Deb! Gorgeous out! A bit warm in the sun when working, but real nice breeze and puffy clouds. Finished my weeding and stuff for the day. Have to pace myself and the whole week is looking great.

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

Well, it's only 61 here, have the windows open, the fresh air is nice. I am wearing a sweater, when yesterday, I wore as little as possible. It is great weather for yard/garden work.

"Big packs" of ground beef were on sale at Wegmans, so that's why I have all that cooking.

South Hamilton, MA

We had an ocean breeze for awhile which allowed me to work. Having repairs done on the house & squirrel entrances shut up so perhaps they will be less noisy this yr. they keep bringibg hickory nuts over from next door--come on guys we have acorns, you don't have to plant hickories.
