Hey Liz... if you have Dappled Apple coleus, would you mind bringing me a cutting? I have a noid that I've tentatively IDed as Dappled Apple. Would love to have the real thing, and compare it to the one I have.

Seguin, TX(Zone 8b)

Sheila...I'll put you down for a flame acanthus. Could I have a comfrey please?

Colleyville, TX(Zone 8a)

TexasLizzy, Do you still have some Blue bedder Mealy Cup sage to trade? Let me know what you'd like, neighbor.

Southlake, TX(Zone 8a)

hey neighbor bananna18 - of course, I have more blue bedder mealy cup - these things self seed like crazy. I would love some miscanthus sinensis(Japanese silvergrass)

Colleyville, TX(Zone 8a)

I am so glad you'd like some. This one is dwarf and grows about 3'. Where do you have the bb mealycup planted. Do you think it would do well in xeriscape conditions?

Southlake, TX(Zone 8a)

It has been surviving well in my sun bed with water restictions for the last month (Southalke can only water every 5 days) and is still blooming!

(Becky) Colmesneil, TX(Zone 8b)

Sheila.. I don't think I ever replied on the mallow.. but I'll bring it to you.. no problem!!

Buffalo, TX(Zone 8b)

Does anyone have any Tropicanna canna "Black" or "Gold"? I have the Phaison which is burgandy with orange flowers to trade.
Charlene

Buffalo, TX(Zone 8b)

I don't remember who had red stripe canna, but please check my list to see if I have a trade for you, I'd like a trade of the canna.
Charlene

Goldthwaite, TX(Zone 8a)

Charlene, I promised you some 'Red Stripe' cannas a while back and have you down on my list already. I have plenty and will bring you a nice clump.

Buffalo, TX(Zone 8b)

Patrob, I just found it on the list of trades. Thanks. I happened to see a photo of it and of course as Beck says, my heart was skipping beats and it took my breath away! So, I needed quick reassurance that I had made a request to get some.

Cocoalulu may I have a coral nymph please?

All requests that have been made by everyone for me to bring are now posted on my list. Please check it out to be sure I got you down for whatever I am bringing for you. I don't want to leave out anyone.

Charlene

Carrollton, TX(Zone 8a)

Charlene what would you like for the verbena? Also have a couple things not on list - houseplant - peace lily - I need to divide-+ some misc seeds from this yr--
No one has asked for the black pearl ornamental (also edible) pepper - it is really pretty blue black foliage - blue purple flowers - peppers start out black - ripen to red

Granbury, TX(Zone 8a)

Hey Kittylover if Charlene isn't interested in the pepper is there something on my list you might like to trade for it? Tanarae

Carrollton, TX(Zone 8a)

I have several Tanarae - how about a kniphofia - red hot poker plant?

Granbury, TX(Zone 8a)

Works for me, thanks.

Buffalo, TX(Zone 8b)

Kittylover,
I am a little bit afraid of the pepper with my dogs around. If my chickens ate a bite though, it might make a good omelet with the eggs they laid. Don't worry about a trade for the verbena. It doesn't need to work out equal.

You may give someone else more than you get, but someone else may give you more. It is really not important as long as everyone goes away from the ru having had a great time. I believe after going to a lot of RU's some people come just to share extras and don't even want anymore plants in return. I will reach that point at some time I am certain.

My plants that I started out with just a year ago have multiplied considerably since joining DG. Lots of trades and lots of fun has been had at every RU I have been to. I also learned about some great natives already on my place that I have added to my flower beds.

I got my verbenas from Trois. He told me he got them off the side of the road. Afterwards, I got several more from the roadside. They have multiplied considerably and they were free to start with.

Charlene

Colleyville, TX(Zone 8a)

Kittylover, do you save the seeds of the pepper and replant each year or is it perennial? It is beautiful and I would be interestred if it doesn't need too much attention over the winter.

Carrollton, TX(Zone 8a)

This is the first year that I have had the black pearl pepper - I got it from NorthHavens Nursery - I also got some seeds from a member - he said he has brought them in and that they live year round as houseplants - I have it as an accent plant in two large containers - I have been very pleased with it --- I plan to overwinter and raise plant from seeds

Carrollton, TX(Zone 8a)

Charlene - I will bring you some of my Black Prince Angelonia - saw your interest in the ones that have survived a while - I planted these last sept - they have bloomed 3-4 x

Goldthwaite, TX(Zone 8a)

For those who are interested in daylilies, I have spent the entire last week dividing mine and added quite a few to my trade list this afternoon. Some of the single fan divisions are fairly large; others are medium; a few are small. If the roots could be forced into a 4" pot, I potted them. They will need to be repotted or planted when you get them. The larger ones are temporarily planted in gallon pots, but I will bring them with roots wrapped in moist paper towel and plastic since I just won't have room to bring the larger pots.

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Pat ....since you posted that 2 hours ago, I guess I won't seem like a pig to ask for these....

'Chasing Shadows'
'Cranberry Chalice'
'Great Scott'
'Cabbage Flower'
'Just So'
'Little Business'
'Ming Toy'
'Spacecoast Extreme Fashion'

You have some georgeous DLs!! I only have about 4 or 5 different ones right now, mostly from Mitch. I will take super good care of them. Check my list and see if I have anything you would like in trade. I have some named Iris, but most haven't bloomed for me as yet; and the names were lost by the previous owner. Later down the road I can share them, hopefully I have some duplicates.

Goldthwaite, TX(Zone 8a)

I'll put your name on those, Sheila. I feel like I am giving away kittens, lol, so I appreciate your promising to take good care of them. Seriously, I had to repot all of my daylilies and make some growing room until I get the new beds done later this fall. I'm happy to have these extras to share with friends. You have been giving me beautiful plants for years!

Seguin, TX(Zone 8b)

I should be dividing some as well soon. I will let you know when I have them dug.

:) Kim

Goldthwaite, TX(Zone 8a)

I have your name on those, Kim. It's good to see you survived all the testing!

Please see if there is lots of anything else I can bring you!! BTW.. did you see where I'd like to try a start of the apple mint on the TYler RU thread? Since you will be bringing my stuff to this RU I thought I would just ask you here..TY!!

Goldthwaite, TX(Zone 8a)

Becky, I have you down for the dayliles you listed above. lol I deleted what I was bringing for you from the East TX RU thread and intended to paste it to the N TX RU thread. I lost it! I will reconstruct. You definitely will get apple mint, LOTS, and whatever else I was going to bring for you. I am happy to share my daylilies with all of you who enjoy them as much as I do.

(Becky) Colmesneil, TX(Zone 8b)

Patricia...I DO love DLs and I promise, I am getting some DLs that I will be able to share with you next year! The ditch and kwansos are all I have had for years, and though very pretty I HAVE to have more..... like every one I see!!..lol

Josephine, Arlington, TX(Zone 8a)

Pat, even though I am more of a native plant person, I would like to have one daylily from you. I have a few from dear friends together in one place. You choose the one you like best.
Josephine.

Goldthwaite, TX(Zone 8a)

Josephine, I'll do that. You are sure one is enough? lol

Buffalo, TX(Zone 8b)

Now Josephine, I know you were here for the Buffalo RU. Did you get a dl from this dear friend? If not, would you like one? I have a beautiful red one blooming now. It is a re-bloom from mid-season Lasalle Tigers. I could mark it for you, or I have many Stellas or some seedling blooms that are noid.

Charlene

Southlake, TX(Zone 8a)

patrob - I would love some of your named daylilies if you have enough. I don't have time to review the named QTY, but I know that I wiould appreciate any of them.

Thanks.

Josephine, Arlington, TX(Zone 8a)

Thank you Pat and Charlene, yes I will be honored to have one of your favorite daylilies.
Josephine.

Goldthwaite, TX(Zone 8a)

Liz, I'll pick out some nice daylilies for you. Do you have favorite colors in your garden or colors you don't use?

Southlake, TX(Zone 8a)

any and all - love the doubles. My dad (hybridizer in MO - adamgrove) gave me three double last year that aren't ready for division yet. Next year hopefully. Plus I have a lot that are his, but were slavaged from compost, i.e. he never introduced them.

Buffalo, TX(Zone 8b)

Texaslizzy, could you save me some of his never introduced dl's? I love them all and don't care if they have names or not.
Charlene

Southlake, TX(Zone 8a)

sure - last year I gave away dozens. I need to give them a rest. Next year - I will ahve named and unnamed to share. He was here last Sept. and spoke at both the Ft. Worth and Dallas hem clubs.

Granbury, TX(Zone 8a)

Hello everyone, I am getting an order in this week for some daylily seedlings that I purchased from another hybridizer. I bought these to sell to the locals. These will be from unknown parentage and all similar. The pic is a representation from a day of blooms on the seedlings. They will all be noid seedlings. If anyone should want some I am sure they would make good garden plants. So if you don't care about names and just want some nice flowers let me know and I will bring some for you. They will be single or double fans. Tanarae

Tanarae, I'd love some of your noid dls. Is there anything else you may want that I can bring you?
Charlene
