Does anyone have blackfoot daisies on their list? I can't remember although I looked through the lists yesterday. If so, I would love some. Next year that's what is going to make up the front border on the side of the house.

Are you ready for this rain and wind in East Texas? They tell us we'll have 50 miles per hour wind and anywhere from 10 to 15 inches of rain starting tonight. I'll got some plants with giant swallowtail eggs on them I'm going to move to the greenhouse. I lost about 40 the last big rain. I'll check the sabine river here and see if I see you floating down.

yep am ready have the citrus trees and plumies in the shed dropped my portable GH to the ground and put a heavy 4x4 on it ...took down my rope swing and my glass candle holders are inside along wtih the few seedling jap. maple starts and tapioca trees
I'm wondering if I should go out and take some cuttings off of some hibiscus plants that were given to me as a back up since they have not flowered yet or just let things go and see if we really get it as they say.
Oh and I dug up some more sassafras the other day, put them in a bucket of water for a bit and ...hehehe...now I have poison ivy

I just took flame acanthus cuttings this past weekend so if they take people are welcome to them as well!
Just wanted to let everyone know that I have now re-entered the world of the living....I PASSED my oral exam this morning!! Now to get busy taking cuttings and all the other fun gardening stuff that's been put off for the last month....

I am planning on coming to the swap but I can never keep up with these trade threads SO the only thing I would like to add is a want, for now. I have lots of plants from many friends, a special Rock Rose (and many babies) from a 103 yr old friend I met thru Meals-On-Wheels and would like to add something that came from Trois' garden.
I was always envious of his beautiful Pride of Barbados pictures but not sure if anyone has grown these from seeds. If so, would you be willing to share one or two with me? If that's not possible then something else would be nice.

I'll read later.. just wanted ya'll to know we just got back home... I just wanted to let ya'll know we made it ok.. no problems with the traffic or anything.. but we got the LAST campsite available.. whew.. that was a relief!!

Lizzy, I will put you down for one of each of the different coleuses that I have (my cuttings are already rooting nicely!) and some 'Red Stripe' cannas. I have LOTS of those cannas, and you will too very soon. lol They are beautiful and very hardy. Thank you for the asters and salvia.
