Unfortunately, it will be the same 1 day weekend for us. Shop will remain open and today will be quite a hectic afternoon. :(

My dilemna is this: LSU opener against a very good Appalachian State from Boone, NC. Should I support the state?? Should I be faithful to my chosen team??

MIL is coming down today to stay the weekend-so today when she gets here we are finishing the fairy room with the pillows and pics she is bringing-will take pics and she wants me to help her nav DG...then tomorrow we are going to the Libby glass factory and out to the local greesy spoon for breakfast...on Sunday brunch at DH work-other than that I don't know-I do want to get some crafting done though....and I have about 6 plants to plant...no picnic-DH has to work all weekend

Oh dear..that remind me of a fellow church goer who's a Tn fan and wore his colors when he sat on the bleaches at the Tiger Stadium. It was a very wild game.. them against us.
Made wilder because he sat right in the middle of his church family who wore...purple and gold!! They kept teasing him that night telling him that God has to make fools...

Lovely homes girls, mine is modest, but clean and love giving it a personality that reflect "ME" now I wonder what that could be..

Just before I give you a tour of part of my home (not sure what pictures I have here on my office computer) but will post a few, a few later when I'm home...I'll post a photo of my day yesterday of my annual outing with the boys...

It's so funny going to the games and seeing mixed collegiate colors in the same families. I bet it's a looong ride back home for some of them.

Well, I slept late, cause Don didn't get home till late...and I can't sleep knowing he's on the road in the middle of the night... so, I'm getting a late start.
He's home today, and we're getting the yard mowed before I go out of town... got lots of other last minute things to take care of today, so I won't be on much... then I leave early tomorrow morning, and won't be back until Monday night late... Don's will pick me up at the airport on Mon, and I'll spend the day at work with him.... BOOORRRRRIIINNNNGG...

Ya'll take care while I'm gone... and when I get back, I'll be armed with a lot of pictures... as well as everyone else at the party.

Marion... We'll miss you girl... you'll get back before I will... so, I'll catch up later.

10 minutes more and it's up north for an enjoyable sunny long-weekend..what could be better than that..

The DH works his regular schedule too......guess I would settle for just a little sun this week end. All of you have a safe and wonderful week end.

Hey everyone. I'm still here, just trying to straighten up like a maniac. there is a very good chance that my In Laws are coming this way depending on Gustav, so I am trying to get enough stuff moved around to be able to accomodate them LOL, you can barely walk through here right now. The all the stuff from entire East side of the house is sitting in the west side...and not neatly either. DH could tell I was stressing so he took Zekey to the Y to swim thank goodnes. Thats better than him trying to help LOL.
I knew if I sat down to chat I would never get anything done, but I had to sit down to eat right?
Anyway, I sure miss being able to hang out. Hopefully what passes for normalcy around here will return soon!^_^

No worries here if any of you went missing.
Enjoy the long weekend off, be safe, drive defensively, don't watch what you eat...and I pray there'll be NO dark clouds over y'all.

Joey, it would be nice if you know of someone who has a camper, and you could live in there while you get the house organized.. or have your MILs stay there.

Oh that would be nice, but can't think of anyone right now. My dad had a monster Winnie, but my *expletive* Step somehow got that when he died. So we will just make do. The only thing that worries me is she will be bringing her little rat terrier which is very nasty tempered and actually attacked my girls last time she was here. I think it surprised them so much they didn't react. Not sure "Muff" will be so lucky this time. So the girls may be spending some time in the outdoor run ...poor babies.
Oh well back to work!!

Oh man-will anyone be here this weekend??? Or will I get on in the am and no chat?? That is my fave part of EVERY am-getting on and reading what went on after I turned in-it doesn't seem to be much lateley, but I still love it-it's like catching up w/ family:)

Stacey.... I'm sure Kathy will get on in the mornings to let you know what's happening there... the rest of us are going to sleep late... she'll have the MORNINGS to herself.

I will be here, I have to go pick up my grandsons to babysit, but will be here most of the week-end. Don't know about early in the morning? Do you work on Saturdays also, or are you just getting up early?

Well, Don and I were just discussing Gustav again... and looks like he will probably hit landfall around Louisiana, then turn west due to the low pressure at that point... so, he'll probably move toward Houston/Galveston around Tues or Wed... Brace yourself again JoJo...

Hanna is acting strangely... she has made a turn toward Cuba, and will probably make her way into the Gulf also... too early to tell just yet, as she's not acting like she should.

Everyone needs to turn on all the fans they have and turn themn south. Hopefully we can all just turn them around and send them back!!!
