And U of M has some of the best surgeons in the country as well!! That is why MIL is looking to move here when she retires all the way...and DH is a chef so you will be fed well...and I have a cute doggie and kitty.....and my house gets decorated for all holidays......snd I have a fairy guest room:) I think I win!!ROFL!!!

So, no worries there Sis.

This is actually an easy swap for ALL of us here. We know each other prettttttyyyy goood (a la Larry David).. so there should be no problems at all in coming up with that 'special' ringing in 2009 gift for any of us.
It doesn't have to be restricted to crafts, can be anything.. that plant you know will grace your buddy's garden and bring a smile when it starts blooming.. or that jar of very much sought after preserves that will delight you in the mornings or tea time.

Not seeking commercial nor monetary values on the gift.
Just a gift that says "I am glad you are my Sistah and with this, I wish you the best for 2009".

Hope I have explained clearly the spirit of this swap.

Sorry, I was over on my regular mail trying to arrange for a friend of ours who is on leave from Iraq to make a delivery to Sgt. Trentacosta (from the Desert Lawn thread) when he goes back. Don't know about Laura. This her DH's night off and I have their DD so they can a little "child free time" once in awhile.

I was thinking on my drive to work today-I would love to see everyones living rooms...I will take pics of mine when I get home and post, but I think you can tell a lot about people by there decor....

My living room happens to be all of DBF's stuff, eagles and Dale Earhardt and old furniture from the 70's except for the sofa and reclinger he is a pack rat. Has coffee table and end tables that were his Grandmothers. I'm going to mosaic the top of them with multicolored tiles, someday in the near future. The kitchen is my stuff, apples, I have one little corner in the dining area where my computer is and i have my butterflies there. No this house does not show my personality at all. I like pretty shiney things

Well, then maybe take a pic of the areas that more refect you-know what I mean??

Mine's the easiest....wall to wall books and cds!! There!!

Mine is "early attic"! Seriously, I have a floral couch, a brown/rose/tweedy looking recliner, sewing machine, large bookcase, and tv. That's about it!I need to add more pix on the walls. I have a very small pic of my maternal grandparents hanging, a large antique domed frame of my maternal gm on one wall. a few others. Oh, I also have a friend's grandfather clock. And two end tables, one table lamp and two floor lamps. This just about fills my LR!

Well, as soon as I fold those clothes on the couch, and sweep and mop that floor, and dust those knick knacks on the shelves, and straighten that rug, and .... etc... I'll take pics... sheesh... what we go through for you, Fairy Lips...

Well, just got back from the doctor's and told me that I have to take it easy for the next few days.... Yipppppppeeeeee!!!!! No dusting, no mopping, no cooking, wait....I've been doing that!!
