Ok, Stacey... since you were brave, I'll try to be brave too.
Here's a pic of my living room from the back door... now, mind you, when the sun porch remodel is finished... the dining table isn't going to be sitting in the middle of the room like this. It'll be pushed back to where the leather furniture is sitting. I'll explain more about that in the next picture.

Now, don't pay any attention to the dust and cob webs... I don't have time to clean today.

Here are some of the blue angels I have, and no, I can't forget anything from Nene Thomas. Especially the moon fairies, or the bubble fairies.

And here's a pic of the LR from the front door... those 5 windows are coming out when we do the sun porch remodel, and we're pushing the whole room all the way out onto the sun porch with walls on each side to separate the sun porch into 3 sections.
That leather couch is going to find a new home, and I want "eclectic" stuff out there in the new "sitting room" ... the dining table will push back to where that leather couch is now.

Here is the formal living room-we are knocking out that wall-it is the same one behind the ent center-we want 1 big great room.....right now it is the crap room-it is where the puter and craft stuff were

For that matter...we have 2 crap rooms!!

Thank you Laura. We've worked really hard on the remodel of this house.
I might want to note here... those built in shelves in the living room flanking the fireplace, Don built those all by himself. He also laid the hardwood floors, one 3" plank at a time...
The sun porch should be finished sometime next year... we started this year, but it's a really really big sun porch (12' X 70')... and we had to start on the outside first... the deck Don built was part of that because we're underpinning it, then we have to put in another air conditioner to accommodate the additional space... then we are going to sun screen the windows...
THEN, we can start remodeling the inside... our budget doesn't allow us to do it all at once... so we're dragging it out.

...and an eBay room... plus Kel's workshop which has an area full of craps!! Lolol!!

Right now, my sun porch is my crap room... after the remodel, I don't know what I'm going to do with all that stuff..

BJ, I need a rest after reading your plans...

Jaye we have two, they are technically called the "office" and the "playroom" but we haven't gotten farther than the pile stuff here stage. It's one of those projects that I'll work on for a week, won't get back to for awhile, so I have to all but start over, etc... so it never gets done.

Well, we're not working on it too hard...

Well Laura, there's so much work here to be done too. Right now, as long as we can find our bed and that big screen tv is not blocked..guess the house is livable!!

WE have a lot of plans too-we wnat to lay bamboo in the whole bottom floor-laminate of course, put on a front porch, redo the back deck, knock out that wall for the great room, put tile and new counters in the kitchen, knock out a wall and expand out bedroom and bath, replace the carpet upsatairs and do the dining room and take the wall paper out of the 1/2 bath-vertical green and white strip, remove the vanity and put in a peddastal and smaller mirror-this is a tiny bathroom and the stuff in it is too big!!! Then we will be happy-10 years and a lot of time and $$

Yep, Stacey... we're on a 10 year plan too... we have a long way to go besides the sun porch... we're only 3 1/2 years into that 10 year plan... then we can sit back and enjoy our retirement on the lake.

We had planned to use tax returns, but w/ DH being out of work that won't happen til returns of 2010:(

JUST AN FYI-someone sent me a card and when I tried to retrieve it I got a virus that looked like virus software-it is called Antivrus XP 2008-if you get something to download like that DO NOT DO IT-I have just spent the last 3hrs trying to get rid of it-here is a link that you can read about it on-this is how I got rid of the freaking thing!! I thought it was a free antivirus program, then it told me I had like 2700 viruses on my puter!!!

That is awful Stacey, I have had one really bad virus...we fought it for awhile and finally just bought a new hard drive (needed a new one anyhow).

I just got a new HD a couple mos ago!! The thing that made me most mad was the sneeky way I got it and the fact that it was portrayed as antivirus software!! All gone now, but I wanted you all to know too since it was VERY sneeky!! MIL sends me ecards all the time, so I thought it was from her...

Well... Hanna has been named... she's a full blown TS now... and predicted to become a Cat 1 LONG before she even reaches the warm waters of the Atlantic coast line... God bless our sistahs (and EVERYONE) in all south and eastern states as far inland as the Mississippi River. She doesn't look very nice from where I sit.

Got to check the generator this weekend and make sure kitties got plenty of food..thanks BJ.

LOL my life has been crazy, and poor Ster had to start school in the middle of all this, but everything is working out, as long as Gustav doesn't come to visit. I'm still installing stuff on my computer, so I may be on and off tonight. Trying to get my firewall settings and antiviruses correct and get my art proggies installed and get email back up LOL I back up regularly on an external harddrive, but guess where it was sitting...haven't tried to recover all my pics yet, surte hope they are ok.
