Well, a few of you have my number. Kel is not a descendant of any axe murderer....no worries there....but if you don't see me posting for more than 3 days..holler!

Kathy and Jaye both have mine... and I have Audreys and Deborahs and Jayes.

So, some of us just can't get away, now can we?

I swear-cleaned the bathrooms, did the dishes, did laundry and am trying to work on some crafts:)

I think it would be good to have a couple people that had a master list of contact information. That way we know who to ask if someone is MIA, but have two people just in case the one with the master list is MIA. I'll happily turn over my info for that, even though if I'm missing, mom probably knows why, but in case we're both gone. If that happens more then two days in a row, without us posting a "I'm doing ..." then there must be a big problem.

It came up on another thread, but there wasn't much interest except for two of us. I still thought it was a good idea, so when the idea was bandied around here I figured I'd mention it. I'd be willing to be a keeper of the list, but it seems like there are better options on here.

I'm fine! All excited about my trip! I've been packing stuff to take my bestest friend in Locust Fork! I have fairy stuff and plants for her! Can't wait to meet everyone!!!!!^_^

I am OK-had to work all weekend and am trying to get all my swaps done:) I did start toa paint my birdfeeder-can't just set there watching glue dry when there are other things to be done;)

I'm going there on Sun. afternoon. I'll stay with her for a few days, then on to my girls' house in Waverly, Tn. for a few days. I'll get to see my ggd for the first
time since she was born! She's 3 mo. old!

Oh-that sounds like fun!!! But we will be w/o you for how long??? And you mean after you leave Kathy's??

Yes, I wont be back home till at least the next Fri. Maybe longer! If I can get to a computer, I'll check in! Just don't anyone get alarmed 'cause I'm not posting!

Quite a somber day today. Still no news from Joey. NOW, I'm getting pretty worried. Wish I could just drive down there and look for her. Well BJ, think it's time to call the calvary?

Had a sleepless night and am not my cheery self, so forgive me for being human. This poem here somewhat I found very comforting.

Jaye, that's a lovely poem... I can see how you would get a pick-me-up from it. Sorry you had a restless night. I kinda did too... I worry too much... wish I could stop doing that.

I am a worrieer too-can't help it-DH was @ BIL house last night and you all know I don't sleep when he isn't home, so I am right there with ya ladies:(

Hmm.. I had been chided once by a pastor for excessive worrying. Told him I can't help it...it's in me.
So he quoted scriptures..as in God's advice for us to leave the worrying to Him and only think of pleasant things. I told him that was hard to do, as I'm only human and am bound to WORRY. God needs to replace that action with something else!!
He threw his hands up in the air and finally told me to do what I have been doing to this day.
Each time I started to fret or worry....start praying!!!

Yep... prayer does work. I agree. And that's why I keep a constant prayer in my heart...
BUT, I inherited this "worry" gene from my mom... and it's hard to kick that. Mostly it's just a matter of turning my mind off at night... wish I had a on/off switch for that.

Jaye, I’m not that cheerful myself this morning. As Garfield would say “I hate Mondays”.

If God made you that way there must be a reason.

BJ, I inherited too. It used to drive mom nuts that we’d stay out so late, over 18 but still living at home, because she could go to sleep till “her chicks were in the nest”.

I think my issue is that I have too good of an imagination. The worst one was when my brother was living with me. I went out for my social engagement of Friday night beer, he went to Portland. I got home he wasn’t home. Called my friend and freaked out for several hours because it was too late to call anyone to find out what was going on. I could see all kinds of things that could have happened. Turned out he just hadn’t told me he was staying the night down there. I was ready to strangle him by the time I found that out.

Then there is the worrying about situations. I’ve got a lot better at not stressing over things, my DH makes up for me, but I worry at problems all the time.

If you find the switch you will be very rich.
