I have star jasmine Bonnie, a huge shrub of one. The plain green leaved kind. I think that pic looks like fuzzy new growth not buds. It looks the same as the new growth on my epis. They sometimes put out that fuzzy new growth. BUT I don't have any experience with Ric Rac. Mine is still a small cutting. I don't have any flowers on my hoyas yet. All the cuttings are growing though. All 17. I have a few bigger plants I bought at lowes. Exotic Angel hoyas in three different kinds. Someone sent me a bunch of ric rac cuttings in the spring and they are growing too. Still all in three inch pots though. I have Sambac jasmine for you and Joyce for the round up. I will pot up a bunch of cuttings. I also am bringing two big blue tropical hibbies one for Joyce and for you if you want. I will bring lots of seeds to the round up too. I thought I would take a bunch of cuttings from my hardy hibs for the round up since they will die back anyway.

Not much of a change in the bud, was up early to see and it is about the same. Should, I hope open tonight.
I lost my connection last night and could not get it back, this morning seem okay now. My my, I was reading from last night, burgs from the roof and plastic flowers with marbles. There is a house up near the city, where My Chiropractor is that has a white rock lawn with at least 25 huge expensive urn planters. They have nothing but silk flowers in them. I really get a good laugh out of it, guess they don’t like yard work.
Cat your blooms with be beautiful tonight, so gorgeous they don’t need a leaf hat.

Here she is at 10 this am, she picked up some color. So long, I had to move to the side of the pot as she was hanging in the dirt. No fair looking at the weedy mulch ladies.

Yes, it is normal for them to start out white or yellow and then get their true colors. I took pics of Maya and Antique Lace this a.m. Maya is starting to get her color, but I too can't upload 1 pic without uploading them ALL on my computer at work... Yep, we are pretty lucky to get to have an RU with Hottie Sis's and our Midwest garden buddies. I'm so excited to meet Louise in person and have a chance to chat with Cat more and see everyone, old friends and new.. (Oh, Louise, I could never turn down any hibiscus, here's a pic of Electric Blue, more purple than blue) I'll bring some clippings from some of my tropicals... We will have such a great time.. Cat, Louise? Are you going to stay over for the trip to Powell Gardens on Sunday?? Joyce (Happ) and I were discussing her missing it and we hope we can ALL make the one next Spring..

AuntB the Electric Blue is gorgeous, have never seen that one. Logee is only 45 min ride for me in a direction I never go. I’m afraid of the damage I could do there, but I thinking of going this month. I figure if I go in September I won’t come out with tons of stuff.

Donna, I think my PP brug (Pendulous pink) has some Equador Pink in her, I almost measured her buds, they sure are long too. They stay white for a day or 2 then turn purty pink... here she was last year..
Wow AuntB, so big she is beautiful, it’s like getting 2 colors on one Burg. I think my E-pinks were a sub, pretty sure I order Pink Perfection. I really need to check the slips better. I’m really happy with them anyway. They were another buy 1 get 2 free so I won’t complain. Only $8.99 for 3 and they have grown from scrawny 6” plugs to 3’ trees in 3 months.
Yea, right Donna ;) September is a GREAT time for bargins! I want to visit Logees someday and when I do, we can have a mini hottie ru of our own! That's where I ordered my first brugs.. P. Versi, Pink Beauty, Species, Super Nova and Jean Pasco... still have Peach Versi and P. Beauty.. Species and Nova didn't make it my first winter (too much water) and Jean developed broad mite her second year and I tearfully trashed her after many attempts to salvage..

Oh that would be great if you ever wanted to make the trip. My house is open to guests, so no expensive hotels necessary. We could do a number, with toes in the sand, eating the seafood, gambling at Foxwood, shopping at Logee. Would be lots of fun, for anyone interested in a mini ru by the ocean.

I have been very very very good, you can tell by how much I’ve been posting. Just sitting here watching the weeds grow. Got to get this back better, Aidan will be born in just 3 weeks and Nana wants to hold him a lot. I’m not much for gambling myself, Foxwoods is 20 mins away and I haven’t been in over 2 years. Always take company there when they want, it is quite a place to see. Oh to win the lottery, another dream of mine, would be nice. Such a cheapo here, I never buy the tickets.

Most my time is spent on the TX forum since I am going to 2 RU's one week apart in October... I get to meet Peg!! YAY!! AND eat her gumbo!! hehe

I'm very curious..If it has one of the variegateds in it's heratige it very well could be coming through...especially since you say it gets more variegation when it gets more light...
