Good night Dear Jaye! Sweet Dreams!!

(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

I want to see what Marion got-wow-so lucky-so many packages!!!

Raleigh, NC

waving good morning to all on my way back out to the iris patch.

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Hello everyone! Where is everyone today. I know Bon is in the iris patch hard at work but the rest of you? Did I run you away with my twisted post? A friend sent that to me last night.

Okay, I received a ladybug family in distress. Apparantly they needed to move to a Grandma's house and chose mine. I have Mr and Mrs. Lady Bug and their adorable 4 children, Fred, Barney, Wilma and Betty. I do think I will have to ask Cindy to help me with Fred as one of his hearing divices is missing. Cindy, do you think you can teach him to read lips dear Sistah? They came with address labels, bookmark and ladybug candy goo. Little concerned about the last item.

Oops! How could I forget the adorable vase.

So adorable...you are one spoilt lady...lol

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Then sweet Deborah sent me the cutest Welcome sign for my yard. I needed that as mine are getting very old and somewhat faded. Just love the eyelashes on the Lady.

Yea,,, but she's OUR spoilt lady...

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Then I received an adorable little pail (perfect for fairies and gnomes), ladybug buttons, a set of notecards, and the cutest little ladybug tacks already finished to add to my gardens. They will climb the trees in Fairyland. Plus a ladybug candle with a beautiful tile coaster to put it on. Oh my!!!

Betty, I am past spoiled--I think I am rotten now!! LOL What wonderful surprises and such perfect timing.

Not to be left out, Maman Jaye and Papa Kel sent me the Diva!! Need I say more?

WOW!!! She will have a place of honor on my quilt rack holding the ladybug quilt my friends from the Garden Club in Gainesville made for me!! The quilt is special for other reasons which I won't go into right now. The time of year makes it a little rough to tell.

Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. Gotta stop or the tears will flow again.

Wuv you all!!!!!

Wuv you too... sweet Maid Marion.

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Wish I could send you some of this wet weather to show you how much I wuv you!!!
Things are starting to feel yucky when you go outside.

Joey in Conroe, TX(Zone 8b)

Oh my goodness what wonderful goodies! Lots and lots of special ladybugs for a very special lady! The ladybug fairy is just amazing! And I love the family of ladybugs! How very very cute!!

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

Wish you could too... things are getting pretty desperate here.

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

I'm pushing, BJ. We need a couple of days to dry out--it just came so hard and continued!! Ha! before long I will be complaining we need the rain--isn't that the way it goes?

Jojo, I feel very humble at the moment. This was a complete and total surprise. A much loved one I will admit but still touched me very deeply.

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

Well, Marion... some times just being a nice person needs to be rewarded.

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Thank you!

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Goodness Maid Marion!!
I can't cry along with you..sorry!! I'm busy clapping seeing your world is fortified with more loving ladybugs (or ladybirds like the rest of the world calls them!)
You say it couldn't have come at a better time. How can we tell you that you couldn't have come at a better time in our lives! You're such a perfect daughter, mother and Sistah.
And as BJ says, a nice person like you, needs to be rewarded.
~~ Good book says love manifests itself~~ our way of showing we love you ;)

(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

Well, who was the fist box from?? The others all said who they were from???

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

Nope,,, the first and the third are nameless... guess they were mystery gifts.

(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

Huh-wonder who those WONDERFUL 1st and 3rd ladies were???? Marion-now we HAVE to know who they were.....

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Dear Tinky, you know you are the one that shoved the poor ladybug family out into the night, with 4 small children, one of which is hearing impaired. I hope Aunt Cindy will assist me here. Fortunately they managed to fight the winds and rain and found their way to my loving shelter for "Ladybugs Without Homes."

BJ sent me the lovely pail, etc and the little bugs that will climb my trees in the fairy garden.

THEN: if that wasn't enough today comes this surprise!!!!! The Fairy lady from Texas otherwise know as Taters55 sent me these.

Will have to hide those when the girls are around or I might not have them. Just think ladybug to go with my pill ...of JD. How lucky can one woman get?

One would think you LOVE ladybugs marion..lol

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

It just been a lady bug kinda day for you...huh?
how sweet that pillow and ball is... what, you don't plan on sharing with the granddaughters?

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Smart Marion...those little ladies will certainly bug her once they found them...nyuk..nyuk..nyuk..

Wonder what the mailman will think of her if he were to find out that he'd been delivering Marion ladybugs from all over USA.

Just so y'all don't worry over me. I'll be MIA tomorrow, got to take a trip out of town and won't be home till late tomorrow evening.

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Yes, Betty you might say I love ladybugs!! Have one on my body most all the time--usually gift from hubby-have worn it so long it feels like a permanant fixture. When I was Prez of the Gainesville Garden Club I usually found ladybugs on the lecturn at every board meeting. Always without names--mostly clothing someone had found for first granddaughter.

WHAT BJ? Share? Are you serious? That is a direct quote from the 3 yo. Truthfully most likely will. You are a grandma you know how it goes.

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Jaye sometime I will tell you about other packages I received everyday for a month. Those did drive the mailman crazy!!!! My mom, sister and some friends all got together and pulled that little joke.

Mailman did ask what I got everyday but there was no easy way to tell what the package contained. Let's just say those days are gone!!!

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

Yeah, and some times I shared when I really didn't want to... that's just what grandmas do.

Speaking of granddaughters... I hadn't heard from mine yet about her annual school clothes shopping extravaganza with me... so, I called my son this morning to find out what's going on... it seems she's already started volleyball practice... met up with some of her old friends... has already gotten grounded for the rest of the summer... and she's just too embarrassed to call me. SO... guess what... she just lost her spree with Nana this year...
But guess what else... as soon as she does call me... all bets are off again... it's just what grandmas do.

I bet mail persons have lots of stories they could tell... a mailman's journal would probably be a best seller.

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Oh how sad BJ--not only for your granddaughter but you. I know that is a special time for you both. Oh I can see the picture now, she calls, grandma goes. Would do the same thing!! LOL

You have that one right--oh the stories they could tell for sure.

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Well BJ, at least she care enough to worry on what you might think of her..some grandkids nowadays don't give a hoot as to what their elders might think.

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

That's exactly how the scene will play... I always do.
And it has always been a special time for us both... cause I buy her things her parents can't afford... those trendy teen stores her parents shy away from... of course, she only gets a few things from those stores, then we get serious at the more reasonable ones.

BUT... she's older now, and spent the summer earning some of her own money, so I'm sure she is buying herself some things this year... I do feel kind of left out.. but I knew that would happen when they become teens.

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

I am not looking forward to that stage. Making it a point to enjoy it while I can!!!

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

So, Jaye... what you going out of town for? I hope its a pleasure trip, and not something like to the doctor...

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Both BJ. As soon as that business is over, I'm gonna look for craft stores :D
Well..got to get up at 3 in the morning..so..I better say hello to my pillow.
Y'all have a fantastic day tomorrow ;)

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Good night Jaye, be safe and well!!! We need you!!!

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

Well, take care Jaye... and get a good night's sleep... sounds like tomorrow is going to tire you out completely... we'll miss you.

Joey in Conroe, TX(Zone 8b)

Good night Jaye and have a safe trip!! Enjoy the craft stores!!

Been on a late shopping trip and I'm pooped, found out on the way homethat I have no headlights unless I hasd my brights on....I'm getting really tired of cars!!!

Kemp, TX(Zone 8a)

Sheesh, JoJo... I don't blame you... seems like it's always sompin...

(bestest fairy)Tempe, MI(Zone 5b)

Marion-I am not sure why one is hearing impaired-all parts were attached when they left here.....if you found it in the box it is real easy to stick it back in the little hole...tee hee hee-I knew it was-tee hee hee-but in all seriousness, the bunnies were trying to kill them, so I did have to send them to a safe haven and could think of no place better:) Mrs. Bug did insist on writing you that letter before they left though so you would get the rundown on their situation-she was in a hurry so I hope you could read it...

We just wanted to show you that we wuvved you:)

Jaye-be safe girly!!

Well, I did a bone head thing-we wanted to move the computer and my craft stuff to the basement so I could have a little corner full of my fave things. So we did and had the cable connection and phone cord to plug into the modem, but it wouldn't work....called the cable peeps yesterday and they said that they make it so only the 1 cable of each will transport the internet, not all of them!!UGH!! So tonight on my way home I have to get some connectors and some extra cable, go home, push the wires through the floor to the basement and then hopefully they will work...if not it is $45 to have them come take care of it!! UGH!!! Such a simple thing and this is what happens...that is why I haven't been on much:(

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Tinky, we have that problem here. My computer won't connect to the router if I have it in the dungeon. That is where I would prefer it as that will be my crafty sanity area. Had to finally move it an upstairs bedroom. Strange why it would work. Hooking to cable for another DSL is way to expensive!!

Fred will be just fine. Haven't found his other independant operation audio sensory apparati but I can fix it with things I have. He will be good as new. Hate to hear the bunnies ran them away but so happy they found my home. Sanctuary for Ladybugs, gnomes and fairies.

Joey in Conroe, TX(Zone 8b)

Are you using a wireless connection through a main router Marion? Is that why it won't connect?
Couple of questions,
Do you have DSL through the phone line? Or do you have a cable, like for your TV?
