As hard as I am praying for some of your rain, it's not happening.
So, I guess I have to go mow... Don keeps telling me how bad the yard is looking... and I keep telling him the tall weeds are shading the grass roots... he's not buying it... so, guess I better move my butt.

My grass is soooo tall, I need to mow it to find my dogs.

NOPE... just made him fix the mower, cause I broke the back up pedal... he was way too fast at fixin it... so, now I have to go finish...

Lol!! Kel's glad that I'm not worried about how long the grass is. Especially when it's close to winter, I'll tell him to just let it overwinter the ground naturally. Then come spring, the new growth that comes up truly looks better.
He still try to get it cut when he can't find Ali our oldest dog in it...yes Deborah!!
Sis..anyone of us will be thrilled to get some good eats from you. That's hard work enough and very authentic. Not everyone can canned.

It happens very rarely this year, and I am enjoying it. Along with this rain, the temps has dipped to the 70's. And I'm bragging aren't I?

Well, that's all I'm doing lately... it's become an obsession... and my house is suffering from dust overload... so, I really need to designate my time a little better... huh?
If I were Wonder Woman my house would be clean, my laundry all done, the grass wouldn't be dying, and I'd have home cooked meals on the table at 5pm everyday for my hubby... believe me, NONE of that happens here.

I am a wreck now!!!!! I came home to a stack of packages for me and when I stop "bawling" so hard and shaking, I will take pictures. Haven't cried like this since--well you know when!!!!!

Judy, GD is doing fine now. Had to finally discipline her yesterday with a time-out but I got a huge hug/kiss and love you Grandma so it worked. I didn't sit today. Last day before school and their Mom took the day off to spend with them. Don't blame her as they change so quickly when they start school.

Will tears hurt a computer keyboard?

Don't cry, Marion... we love you... I hope they're tears of joy, at least.

They are for sure!! Just can't stop shaking as this was such a surprise and shock--welcomed one at that.

waving on my way to bed. That wonderful drizzle was here all day, too, and I've been out in it all day weeding. My day to volunteer at Plant Delights. Came home, processed irises and weeded irises.....I'm too tired to watch these itsy bitsy speedo'd sycro divers....nighty night all.

I am here and I am okay now. Just took more time with things tonight. DD fixed dinner but got sick so I cleaned up for a change and have been getting things ready for in the morning. Provided she will be okay to go to work. Usually happens about the 3rd week or so of school--scratchy throat, headache generall feeling bad.

So dear ladies I thank you again but the pictures will have to wait until in the morning as I am tired also.

Bon you really must be exhausted not to watch the speedos hon!! LOL Nope, I don't watch them either.

Will do! You can just write it on the calendar that this will happen about now. Partly, getting tired from talking so much and on her feet all day after not being used to it during the summer.

I do have a low grade headache but I am sure mine is from this weather. Never fails.

Ya know... my kids used to get sick too, about 2-3 weeks after school started... I always chalked it up to what all those other kids might be carrying around... germs, bacteria, and such...

Y'all poor mums. So I missed out on germs that kids bring home from school..

Did an Aunt Clairol to my tresses and Kel's glued to the Olympics. So, who got booted on PR?

They had teams tonite and had to design for Brooke Shields character on Lipstick Juingle. Daniel and Kelly were a team. They designed a really trashy outfit and Kelly got booted. I think he should have gone, cuz he hasnt made anything nice yet...but thats just me : (. Poor Paulo got booted on Shear genius. I guess somebody had to go, but he was so sweet!

As long as it's not that super gal from Liberia...now she has talent!
