Wowah! Time is simply flying by.
School starts tomorrow for DS Monday for DD#1 (college!!) and Weds. for DD#2.
I so can't beleive summer is gone. LOL, but yippee, we got everything done in a timely fashion.

So tomorrow my baby will board the bus to start the last of his Middle school year.
Our routines will be interesting this year. But I think and hope will be a wonderful challange.
LOL after how much this school years has cost us...Yikes still holding my heart, it better be good.

On the work front, I've got projects, the are few but they are rather big. Back to my regualr work time too
So it actually kind of nice...Only one more month to find out if I still have a job or not, which...I really don't think so.
I should be going crazy by this time and well, I am not...too slow for me.

Lol Seed, the work will just build up like it did when I was sick. I'm not going to worry about it, it's out of my control.
I was thinking about joining in on the Victorian Santa, but I'm horrible at doing things like that, nor am I very good at it. Knowing the way I am lol I think I'll pass, I'd pay for the kit and that would be the end of it. Horrible!

Okay, my brain thought I was serious about sleeping for 12 hours. I didn't wake up until the mailman rang the doorbell at 11am!!! LOL Sheeeesh!

Judy, the other location was great. I used to work there and it was nice to see the others. We had some good talks and got caught up. 4 said they NEEDED me to come back! That was from managers. They're having some difficulties there because the mall they are attached to....IS GONE!

Huh, those are popular these days, they just put a big one in, in Little Rock. Only a few of the suites are filled, and everyone is wondering how busy it's going to be over there in the winter when it's 20 degrees.

Crap, thunder at bedtime again, 2 days in a row now. I keep hoping it'll fizzle before it gets here lol! I'm so tired it's ridiculous. I've been looking for a tea kettle online, mine rusted. I really like some of them, and others are really ugly.

Oh well, I should go to bed and see if I can sleep.

What everyone up to??

Working and trying to get my energy back. LOL. Still haven't recovered from the last 2 weekends. Hopefully I will recover this weekend by being able to sleep in. lol

After tomorrow I'll be on vacation. Dave is taking Friday and Saturday nights off YaY! The original plan was he was going to take Saturday night off, we were going to go out (we stay out until 3:00am) and I was going to leave sometime Sunday after noon, I wanted to leave Sunday morning. Now with him taking Friday night off we're going to go out Friday instead, which means Saturday is going to be the tired day, and Sunday I'll be able to get up and leave between 9 and 10am, that will make the 5 hour drive a lot easier and a lot less rushed.

Man ya'll, I was petting Tiga a few days ago and I noticed that on the back of her hind right leg up by her tail she's really tender, so I got to feeling around and thought I felt a big cyst or something like that under her skin. I got to feeling around last night and felt a bunch of matted fur, so I was questioning myself if she has a cyst or just matted fur, I'll take her to the vet for a cyst when I get back from vacation, not for matted fur lol! I got her good brush out and she let me brush that part of her hind leg, which is a very tender spot, I pulled out 6 big mats, then she became intolerable of it and rolled over on her back, so I brushed her belly and chest for a few minutes, and of course her head, back, sides, and tail. She won't let me touch the back of her legs at all, I'm sure she's sore right now, so tomorrow or the next day I'm going to see if she still has a lump back there, I hope not. I told her she cannot, absolutely cannot, get old. That was against the rules, she's been my bestest friend for 12 years now and she cannot get old.

She has been doing lots of running between Phylis and her Dad.
Dad's biopsy went good, they didn't find anything so that is a releif.

Oh good, I was wondering how things were going with Terry. That's a relief!

Tiga felt a lot better, she was purring and loving, and in the middle of the night I was woken up by hearing her running laps through the house. So I got up and joined in the fun, she was all doing her prancing and leaping and everything, it was hilarious!

Glad to hear the news from both, Terry and you Crissy! Monty loves to be chased, too. lol

Judy, I DO pull up a chair and look at those pretty mountains! LOL

Crissy, I'm on vacation after tomorrow! Five whole days of nothing but outside!

Well, kiddo in school, lol already had homework too.

I am nice and busy at work today so, lets hope the day breezes by.
Hoping to leave a little early. I've plans to work on the side of house. Started in the fall because the brick siding fell off. So Steve fixed the sub wall and placed tyvek on it. Now I can do the woodwash so we can put the new siding on it, Cedar boards. And the then finally my house will be all one color. Tadah, then i can check off another project!

Judy, good on you guys! Having the house one color will be awesome.

We have gotten a notice that our SunSetter awning is on it's way!!! Yea!!!

OMG remember me telling ya'll about the the girl I work with that we do each others jobs, and she didn't do a darn thing to help me out when I was out, and I came back to tons of paperwork and I was 2 1/2 weeks behind on everything? Well I have 5 different bank statements that have things wrong with them, but since today's my last day for 1 1/2 weeks I can't work on them until I get back because the coordinators can't do their work when I'm fixing something of theirs, and I don't want to leave anyone in limbo that long. Anyway, I mentioned them to the other girl and she said, "Oh just file them and we'll take care of them next month when they come in again." In other words, you can take care of them when they come in next month, and I don't care if it puts you behind a month. Being behind a month makes it more difficult to find the problem from the previous month. Anyway, I had something that went into one of the binders that the reports go in and she had the binder. So I went to her office to put them into the binder and she handed it to me and said, "You can help me work on this, I don't have time to do it right now, as she's doing personal crap on line. Needless to say, I filed the binder and I'm not filing those bank statements. "I'm not going to help you but you need to help me, bull pucky!"

Today was loooong day at work. We had a thing at wrok last night where nursery experts come in and do their thing. Came in today and the place was trashed. They left all their papers laying everywhere, cans and bottles sitting around-though that wasn't as bad as it could have been, and the set ups were left as they were, chairs not pushed in, etc, etc.

We have tables that are made of that fiber board and weigh a ton. There were 14 of them to move from one end of the building to the other. Since my coworker and I had to do it ourselves it took about 4 to 4 1/2 hours to move them. We both hurt from the neck down today.

We didn't get to any cleaning til almost 2pm. One volunteer went up to a coworker of ours and complained cause there were 2 custodians there and the floors still had dirt on them. Sorry but the furniture was more important than the floors today. There were paintings to come down, a stage, walls, and some other stuff. Floors weren't important especially considering that they weren't that bad.

But on the upside I got a huge penta and a pot of blanket flowers off the freebie pile today. lol

LOL Celia! My mom thinks the girl is stupid, but she's not at all, just extremely arrogant. If it doesn't have to do with her then it doesn't matter. You know we can't think of anybody else but ourselves.
I've been getting ready to leave all day, lots of shopping and what-not. Now I have to start packing, and the dryer is done ug. I want to get it done before the Nascar race starts LOL Priorities! I'm hoping to be online once in a while at my moms, but I doubt I'll be able to after I fly into California.
Looks like we're going to get a thunder bumper after all. It's been very loud but sunny here for the past 30 minutes, now it's clouding up and the thunder just got louder. I might be back later, depending upon if we go out to dinner or not. We probably will since nothing is thawed again OOPS!

Crissy, I always say that if you can't think of anyone but yourself, you must not be too bright. The brain just fills up with themselves and that's all there's room for.

Well, my bags are packed, except for the stuff I need in the morning, the laundry is done, and I didn't get dinner. There is absolutely nothing to eat and Dave's asleep again. I was wondering why I wanted to go on this vacation, now I know. It's not his fault but all the man does is sleep and I'm not used to that, usually he's all hyper and all over the place.

She got me in this big discussion one time about Republicans, Democrats, and Libitarians and how good a certain political race is, she was the only one doing the talking and she didn't even ask me what my political race is, just went on like I was the same as her. Then she was bragging about "almost" having a degree in Political Science, like that's going to do her any good with balancing bank statements???? Then she thinks she's all professional and all. Well, I made the drive to my mom's. She's in so much pain she's just sitting in her recliner repeaing over and over, Dang I hurt, Dang I hurt. I feel so bad for her but there is nothing I can do. Anyway, the drive was good, and I didn't stop and gamble like I wanted. I went to this little casino to eat at the Oklahoma/Arkansas state line and it was ok, but the machines weren't labled, so if I sat at a machine I would have no idea how much I was playing until I started playing it. Then I went to the one "restaurant" it was fast food. So I'm sitting there eating my cheeseburger and fries at this huge 4 person round table and here comes this old man, he looked about 95. Anyway, he could barely walk and decided to sit at my table across from me. He slowly sat down and got out this little thing of tin foil. He unwrapped it and was trying to put the chew inside it in his mouth, but he was ending up with a huge mess. Grossed me out, thank God I had already eaten my burger and half my fries, so I just got up and decided to continue my driving. I got here at 4:00pm and we went to dinner at this new place in Oklahoma City called Louie's Bar and Grill. It was really good! Made up for the lunch. I want to go gamble at the casino down the street but I don't want to run off on them, but I don't want to hang out at home either, hhhmmmmmm I just got a cup of coffee to give me the energy to unpack pptttthhhhhh

We get to pick up the new car today. (I hope...) It had leaking head gaskets and has been at the dealership since Thurs. They had to order the gaskets and will do the work today. After that...it's perfect and will be licensed and legal and maybe Darrell can finally show it off!!! LOL Everyone keeps asking where it is. The silly neighbors across the street are very helpful with their advice. (These people have blown engines on 3 Mustangs and 3 Harleys. One of the 'Stangs was an '03 Cobra!) They all know we've had it a week and one of them said them said about the gaskets..."That's what you get for not driving it. Ya gotta drive it, Dude!" I'm sorry, go away! You bought brand new cars and immediately started tinkering with the engines to get more power, you did NOT break them in before racing them, sand you have motorcycles you can't ride because you did the same to them! Sheesh!!!

One thing good came from the conversation...

The guy who actually rents the house said something about the other neighbors and the noise they make with the cars. Darrell came back with the statement that all the neighbors are POed at them because of the noise and they're afraid of getting hit. They were all surprised by that and have been mostly quiet since then. Good for you, Darrell! This is one of the reasons I love him.
