I had a GREAT day yesterday!! I stopped by a daylily farm yesterday on my way home form work-wonderful place!!! An older couple in their 70's owns it and they give you a list that is about 4 pages front and back of the different ones they have, you walk along and see one you like and mark it, then they dig it up for you and bam-you got it!! I talked to them about doing a co-op!!! Not sure if I can get discount on pricing because their prices are already to die for!! Clumps are 2-4 fans and the avg price is only $6!!!! They are about 4 miles from me!! SO I could email them my order and pick it up the next day all frershly dug, box them up and POW-how awesome is that!!! I got Liliting Belle, Jim's Pick and Luxury Lace!! There were about 40 more I wanted, but not enought $$!!LOL I payed $6 for the spider and $4 for the other 2!! THis weekend they are having a grab back-I think 10 plants for $10!!!! THis is their last weekend...
Then we went to the TOledo Rib off and sampled some ribs and came home w/ some awsome ribs by a place called Armadillo-HUGE and tender-not quite fall off the bone, but you didn't have to fight the bone for the meat either which to me is perfect!! Great rub, great wood used and great sauce!!
Morning! Deborah, I was wondering where you were! Thought Stacey's gassy expels drove you away!
Ok Smart Bestest Fairy Niece, thanks for giving away the answers.
Seize that opportunity Stacey. I have Marietta Gardens and Roycroft Nursery too close for comfort on my pocket. Don't think either does co-op.

Daylilies are the most forgiving plants. They're the only ones that I can plunk in my clayey soil, and still do well, with just very little amendments.
Love the alice lambertson and alter ego!! I can't even begin to list all they have, but for a co-op they would tell me which ones and how many of each they had for me:) I had to explain co-ops to them a few times-they had thought that I would gain a profit from them!! I said nope-no profit for me...I said sometimes people send in a little extra $$ and that after all is said and done that may get me some of what I ordered, but that I do not charge anything for me:) I think their most expensive one was only like $18!!! And there were only a few that were that price-their avg was under $10 and most were like $6!! So I figure even if they don't give me an additional quantity discount the prices are already great!!
OK-have to look at more of that marietts site!!
All of my dear sweet wonderful friends. The Birthday Fairy (dressed a lot like the Fed Ex guy) delivered the most wonderful surprise on my porch a little while ago! I just don't even know what to say! I am really at a loss for words (extraordinary as it may seem) to express how special you all have made me feel!
Huge hugs each and every one of you!! Y'all are really a special bunch!!!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!
You make each and every one of us feel special every day...
You're welcome... Happy Birthday.
I don't know waht you are talking about-what did the Fed Ex guy leave you??;)
My mom just sent me the cutest link!!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yNy9jTeolUk
Gotta make sure your speakers are on!!
Out with it Jojo, what did the Fairy Fedex man bring? I am in agreement with BJ, you add so much to all our lives!!
Tinky, Auntie M differs with you on numbers 4, 11 and 13. I say #4 --A; #11--A; #13--G.
Interesting to see which is correct on this. #12 should read "Roll Tide" LOL
Asolutely ladies, Joey makes us complete!!!!
(Err...what did the Fed Ex guy bring you Joey?)
Went back to check on the quiz, I know 13 is G. They have that commercial in Singapore too :D
BJ, I was asking Kel in what style is your beautiful piece of work. Told him it's not Capidomonte, though the relief is just too gorgeous and definitely not too 'sweet' as Fitz and Floyd.
Smart Kel----he says----it's a BJWilson Original!!!
Kel is one of a kind--that's for sure!! I take he is an artist?
More like a critic, Marion. You know the saying..those who can't do..criticize!!
I've learnt so much about modern sculpture from him though.
Hmmm... A BJWilson original... now I'm not quite sure how to take that from anyone else... but, coming from Kel, I think I can say "thank you".
I'm too tired to take the test. Sorry.
I don't know if I can stand Don being home for 7 days strait... I'M ABOUT TO SCREAM...
All day long (yesterday and today) he's done nothing but nap, watch tv, play computer games, and then another round of nap, tv, computer games... over and over.
That is when he's not asking me "what'ca doin'".... "how long ya going to do that"... "what ya going to do next".... "WHY"....
SHEESH.... I'm going to have to call his boss and see if there isn't a game somewhere he needs to be at.
Of course... the only reason he's doing this is because he's extremely tired... he worked 10-12 hour days for 14 days strait... I guess he's needed the rest.
Well! Sorry I blipped out for a while. Had some neighbors drop in and stay for a while. Had a nice visit, but really wanted to get back on here and finish my thank yous!!
The Fairy Frd Ex man brought a Double Barreled Rock Tumbler!!! I am so excited!! There are 2 different projects I wanted to try that required a tumbler so now I can go crazy!! I can make beads with the clay that I got with the gift certificate that you wonderful, sweet girls got me too. I am so excited!! (did I say that already?)I haven't even had a chance to call Sterling and tell her, she's at her grandma's for a couple of days. I can't believe you all did that for me. You are just unbelievable. I can't tell you how wonderful y'all make me feel. Just having you all as friends to share the day with is more than I could ask for and then this is just too much. Thank you all so much!! I am one lucky lady to have met all of you!!!
I am late getting the grill fired up for supper, but once I get the fire going I'll post a picture of my new toy!! I am one happy Mama!!
Poor the poor baby Momma.
How much y'all wanna bet, Joey's mind is on the tumbler, not on feeding her tribe ;)
We just want to see some pictures of the wonderful things you make with the tumblers.
Raising my hand.
Ok...what will you be makin' us, Joey :D
Oooh all kinds of things! I really can't wait to try some beads, and some seaglass for mosaics...can you imagine a fairy path made of blue and green sea glass? Or pink??Oh my mind is going a mile a minute!!! LOL the pork chops might be scorched !!
Give a man a fish, he eats it right away...but teach him how to fish..
In your case, the tumbler's just the perfect gift to expand your creativity!
We love you Joey!
Yeap, couldn't have said it better Jaye. Oh just think of all the neat little stones we will be seeing in the future. Hint, hint!!
I love you all too! Y'all have really made this a special birthday for me. I really do feel loved!
I'm sitting here reading the manual getting Pork Chop Grease all over it cuz I'm trying to eat at the same time...I am really like a kid at Christmas!!
...as I have said before: growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional. So just eat yo pok chop and grease up your book!!
Dear sistahs, I'm calling it a night. I still feel like I am about 40 short on my sleep. I know why we have kids when we are younger--getting up every 3-4 hours takes it out of us old ones!!
Nite all.

Just don't eat the manual, JoJo..
I have to tell you... I got one for your birthday too... Don brought it home ON YOUR B'DAY... and gave it to me... I sat and read the manual right away too... I haven't used it yet... but I'm anxious to when I have time...
No time now... got more jars to do... got to get busy 'cause someday, I want to sleep agian.... sheesh.
Your Don is one sweet man, he might even be almost as sweet as you guys!
I know I have to force myself to finish the stuff I have going right now before I start anything new....may not manage that, but my intentions are good!!
Good night Marion. Sweet Dreams you Sweet Lady!!
Um... JoJo... did you know that it takes days and days and days to tumble glass? and a long time to tumble polymer beads...
So, it's kinda like doing the laundry,,, start the washer, and go do your other things...
All you have to do is fill it up, and turn it on.
LOL hope its not like kaundry BJ that stuff is never finished around here! I have been tempted to make ecerybody go naked for a day just so every single thing in the house would be clean just once!!!
Nope... it's not... rocks eventually get sanded... and beads get polished... then its done.
Ya know... seems like Don and I can create as much laundry as a family of four... can't imagine where it all comes from.
So there are two tumblers in the family ;)
Zeke will be the happiest to oblige you Joey.
My god daughters used to drive me nuts, cause they'd change clothes 3 times a day, until I laid out their clothes for the day and locked up the rest!
I'm off to bed too, what a day.... began on a dour note, hearing Bernie Mac, one of my favorite comedians, died.
Hurray for Michael Phelps, favorite swimmer, won and smashed his own world record.
Bon, I hope your nephew did good at the Olympics.
Nite nite and rainbow dreams my sistahs.
g'night Jaye... sleep tight.
Nit nite Jaye. Hope there are rainbows over Jayeville!
